I'm really at a loss for understanding here. I can't manage to find a game without any really noticible lag. What is even more frustrating is that it only seems to effect my charictor and not my opponent. Is there anything I can do to make things better or did people just learn how to play with all that lag? Its to the point I can't even complete a simple two or three hit combo. if you know somthing I don't about this please let me know.

theres nothing you can do, you either adjust or dont play on live. The good (and bad?) news is most people learn how to adjust to Xbox live. My only advice is find people you have a good connection with, save them on your FL. Also, venting is ok, but dont expect people to concede to whining about lag tactics. They do whatever it takes to win, and 3s on xblive is a different game apparently.

Up your connection. That's really the only way. I have a pretty fast connection and I really don't have laggy games with anyone now unless they live far away or have a bad connection themselves. I hook my ethernet cable directly into a wireless router that's running Verizon fios. I just got some games done with Scoot and it was virtually lag free. Even people that I have some delay with it'd probably be a ton worse without the up in speed.

Update your routers firmware and open your ports.

Or get optimum boost! lol...

Actually it doesn't really matter how fast your connection is if the other guys connection is ass. If 1 guy's shit is fucking up both people will lag.

Damn...Turning off the computer makes one hell of a difference. I'm having my brother come over and show me how to update my firmware and see if I can calibrate the router (I really suck at computers). Thanks again for all the advice
