Hi, well heres the problem. The ps2 I'm playing on has the matrix infinity in it and I can go to the config menu too, but it won't play any burnt games or imported games.
Before it played the imported games fine but for some reason it won't read it anymore and that red screen comes up. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to take it to the shop? Thanks in advance.

You were ripped off. You don't have a matrix infinity, you have a clone chip.
Clone chips take the Matrix code and dump them on their chips so the Matrix logo and other functions appear. But their flaw is that when you go into the config menu or update the firmware the chip dies.

You are going to need a new chip.

Okay, so if i get the swapmagic for the ps2 will it still work?

It should work since the PS2 thinks swap magic is an original disc and won't activate the chip to patch it.

Your best bet is to find the person who did the mod for you and see if he's going to replace it or even remove it. That way you could be guaranteed that swap magic will work.
