comedy gold. Colbert gets in zinger after zinger. All O'Reilly can do is go back to "the only people who watch the daily show are stoners and slacker" (even though they did a study showing that daily show watchers are more educated than factor watchers..big shock, i know)
click here to watch (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/01/18/colbert-on-the-oreilly-factor/)
Billo will be on Colbert's show later...

You hear people laughing in the backround when he says that.

So, I finally put the damn word into wikipedia; "falafel". It's a goddamn food. Why do people associate that with Bill? This has been scraping my mind away for the past year or two.

ah, ok. Finally, there it is. I can relax and not have an "if it weren't for my horse," aneurysm now.
...and yes, it's always interesting how everyone puts so much effort into hating the hell out of O'Reilly, and the whole FoxNews network...like they personally came over and raped your mothers. It's almost as bad as the Halo situation. (*just from mentioning Halo in passing there, that has magically summoned someone to jump in here just to say how much it sucks...it should happen in the next 2 or 3 posts, I'm sure.)

Uhh....I don't think that Colbert was trying to insult O'Reilly...or that O'Reilly was trying to outsmart Colbert...I just think that O'Reilly was trying to be funny but failing cuz he's not funny...
I mean, if they really disliked eachother, they wouldn't be appearing on eachother's show.

I hate O'Reiley more than I hate watered-down beer. But if he wanted to have me on his show I'd be more than happy to make him cry in front of his own audience.

I love it when Michael Savage rips on O'Reilly all the time and also rips on Hannity and Limbaugh constantly. "Why don't you ask wall banger from New York, maybe he can put up some dry wall for you. Pound in some dry wall. Hahahaha..."
haha yeah, I especially like it when Michael Weiner, err i mean "savage" rips on blacks and civil rights, especially like on MLK Day when he said of them:
...it's a racket. It's a racket that is used to exploit primarily heterosexual, Christian, white males' birthright and steal from them what is their birthright and give it to people who didn't qualify for it.
Take a guess out of whose hide all of these rights are coming. They're not coming out of women's hides. Are they? No, there's only one group that's targeted, and that group are white, heterosexual males.
oh man, comedy gold. I also love it when he calls asians terrorists, women unfit to hold public office, and that the homosexual agenda threatens our very society.
Seriously though, what is it you find intellectually stimulating about such a self-parody of hate-filled nonesense?
spudlyff8fan
01-18-2007, 11:15 PM
Ok...?
But certainly, if O'Reilly was in any way offended, or even effected, by anything Colbert said to him, he wouldn't appear.

Another thing about Colbert on Oreilly. Im certain Oreilly knew what he was getting himself into. Its called advertising for each other. He gets moe viewers and so does colbert.

You missed the point. Colbert purposely played the fool to make O'Reilly's attempts at bullying and being insulting look ridiculous.

his age has very little to do with his intellectual shortcomings...at his age, i would have understood and laughed at the humor on the colbert report...i think he just got molested one too many times and lost his sense of humor...

Why people jump on this video is so stupid. Of course this is the hate that comes towards oreilly. Sad thing is he really was right and hip hop does have a negative influence. KEYWORD PEOPLE. KIDS!!!
O'reilly does have a point, but he makes it a point just to target rap and hip hop when there are other forms of media out there that are just as blatantly guilty. He never goes after them though, purposely. BTW that video was stupid, like someone else said I'd rather watch the Donahue one.
Example: He'd rather have the notoriously cursing Osbournes represent Pepsi than Ludacris (he probably wouldn't have blatantly shown his ass like the Osbournes did), kids watch tv and movies all day but who cares right?, anyone forget about Judas Priest's music "making" those kids commit suicide back in the day with sawed off shot guns.
I mean O'reilly can make his points, but he looks like an ass when he points his finger at one group and when they try to say ok fine what about this, he's like no it's you, you, you who's causing our problems.

what a nerdy ***. his name is obviously pronounce KOLE-BURT but he's so insecure that he has to hype himself by changing the pronunciation of his name. stupid stoner slackers giving him ratings and stuff.
on another note, i sensed an overwhelming underlying vibe from oreilly duuring that dash/camron/oreilly/principal... if i didnt know better, i couldve sworn that any and everytime he spoke to (or maybe more accurately spoke over) any of his guests, that he would've branded the word "******" in large red capital letters on all of them. not sure what makes me believe that, but believe it i do. what a guy. gogo claiming the grand canyon for america and the righteous crusade against counter culture in america.

"Are you ColeBURT or coleBARE?"
"Bill, I'm whoever you want me to be"
I love Colebert's stuff, he even beats out Jon as fake news king. I do fail to see how this was complete ownage of bill though, other than the fact Bill's sense of humor is better suited for geriatric america.

i dont think they were trying to dis each other. just show each other that the other could hit. i feel so bad for the people that go against colbert, they reply so seriously. just use sarcasm in a serious tone, agree with what he says, and (reilly got close to figuring this out) interupt him. its not playing fair, but wow that could help so many people save some sorta face.
colbert can def handle himself, what a guy

My favorite part was "We aim at a younger demographic, people in their 50's and 60's".
Colbert counter VC'ed O'Reilly with justice.
I lol'ed at "the headlights of justice."
