Just a question. I'm trying to find the "best looking" emulators for consoles and arcade. So far, my research has shown...

Best looking Nes is a toss up between Jnes and virtualnes.

Snes is Zsnes hands down

Megadrive is prolly Gens? I'm not very impressed though...

Anyone else have any info on the subject? PSX? N64? Arcade? any info would be VERY appreciated.

ePSXe is the best PS1 emulator imo. You can actually get the game to look better then on your console.

How does virtualnes compare with nestopia?

My vote goes to ePSXe for best PS1 emu. And Project64 for best N64 emu.

For Genesis/Megadrive try Kega Fusion (http://www.eidolons-inn.net/tiki-index.php?page=Kega) and download the render plugins.

WOW! Nestopia would be PERFECT if it had a vsync option.

hi rez emulation is a pretty deceptive topic title. You probbaly wouldn't want hi rez emulation beacuse that would mean inaccurate emulation.... Unless you were emulating 360/ps3
