Question on wiring Sanwa parts

I have just bought a bunch of Sanwa parts, and I have a few questions.

I bought OBSN 24 and OBSN 30 Sanwa buttons, they have 2 prongs. Which of the prongs is the ground and which is the button?

I also got a JLF-TP-8YT joystick and I have 2 questions about that. 1. Which way does the stick go (which is up/down??) and what color wire is what? In order from Top to Bottom in the current orientation (wire out to the right) Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Black. I know the black is the ground, but would ROYG be UDLR?

The buttons are basically big round switches, so there isn't a ground and button prong per say.

So just stick one wire on one prong and the ground on the other.
