Well its a mammoth job. Easier than I thought though.Yes the character models have 3000 frames each(some are unused like the zangief sprites in alex's spriteset).
well not I am converting them to gif to put into game maker. The hit detection should be better though(animation accurrate).

yes but I have a really helpful pallete editor. I am just modifying mugen sprites and adding better hit detection. I need frame data/hit frames(needs to be accurate to the game)and damage data.
This was alot easier than I thought.

You know you could answer all the questions in one post rather than tripling.

Don't bother with re-creating the fighters, they are the way they are.
Besides, it's extremely unlikely that you will be able to re-make streetfighter3 and or CvS2 Using game make, I've used the program I know it's possible.
Just very unlikely that someone would actually take the time to do so, I have personally never seen a good game maker game get past it's first or second demo.
Besides you should spare yourself the trouble the games are already made.
But you could make your own fight if you were willing, now thats something you wouldn't get a bad rap for. So get on that shit.

I've considered trying the project myself using Game Maker. It does actually seem kind of easy. Once you create an engine, it's just a matter of plugging numbers in.
What I would do is create a character editor. With GM, it'd be stupid-easy to make. You just need to get your structure down. For example, you're going to need a handful of collision boxes just for one character. How are those boxes kept track of? How do you keep track of successions of these boxes to create an animated action?

why do we need more balanced 3s and cvs2?
just get better, the best players aren't top because they pick top tier. u don't see random scrubs winning majors just because they pick a are or yun.

I used GM a couple of times but could not find how to re create a fighting engine. i know very little of programming.
This sound interesting at least to me...
Any GM forum were they treat the Fighting game engine topic?

Well, yes, but the upper players do get exponentially better using the stronger characters.
N - Just sayin'.
