are they the same or what? cause i see some japanese players use yang's c.lk instead of lp. but the c.lp is so much more easier to execute regardless of more strict timing. :P

cr.lp is easier to land consistently, but c.lk can only be parried low and it hits low.

c.lk is a relatively safer bet since jabs can be parried either way. Jab is easier, but...

I say just learn how to do c.short consistently [it's not that hard], or just stick with blindly doing a c.short XX ex slash. It's safe against everyone that's not Ken. And even then, no one punishes 100% of the time unless they're determined to have their attention be concentrated on punishing non-jab slashes.

It's longer than shoto c.lk range.

I never c.lp x3 unless it kills them. It's just completely inferior to c.lk x2.

yes, thats one of yang's dangerous mix ups. but i'll tell ya, its not easy.
