Killer Instinct & Bushido Blade.
T.J. Combo,Chief Thunder & B. Orchid were too ILL to have been in only two games.
It may not be the most technical fighter around, but KI was dope as hell.
I don't recall ever seeing another fighting game that matched the badassness of KI, except for probably Samurai Showdown.

As far as Bushido Blade goes, I just want another game with the same gameplay as Bushido Blade.
(Unfortunately the development team who made the fighting engine is wasting all their resources making shitty ass Kengo games.)

Combo Breakers were always so devestating and out of nowhere. Mid combo u just get kicked in the face for godlike damage. Cinder wuz by far the cheapest character on the game. Ultra combo = fwd fwd LP. Its all about accidentally comin upon his ultra combo. I really wanna play this game now.

As long as we have KOF, and looking to be getting something new in the way of Samurai Spirits and possibly Fatal Fury/Garou, SNK will be fine. Besides, its main audiences are seemingly everywhere else BESIDES the US. :rolleyes:

But I guess if there was anything I could really stand to want, it would be for SNK to actually make a 100% original fighting game. I don't think they've made anything distinctly "new" since the days of Last Blade and Kizuna Encounter. I understand that the established franchises are what keeps their money train going, but I can't be the only one who can sometimes get a bit tired of the "same ol, same ol" all the time, right...?

Probably because it was just a case of "a bit too late to the party". While Vampire enjoyed a nice following over seas, it never really took off in the states the first time around, because most everybody else was too concerned with the latest version of Street Fighter Alpha and the III series to care about it.

Of course, only in recent years did people actually start to give a damn about Vampire, but by then, it was probably too late. Not to mention that Capcom doesn't have much of a fighting game staff any more, any way...

MSH came before the whole vs series.

Its still the same basic fighting style minus the stones. Same animations and everything. Just because it doesn't say vs. doesn't mean it wasn't the original. All the games afterward were made from that game.

Power Stone. Both 1 & 2. I know people in most fighting communities hate Power Stone 2... because the 1v1 sucks. But the 2v2 for Power Stone 2 can actually be good because of certain game patterns. But Power Stone 1 is still better IMO though it is still pretty simple.

I would even like seening people playing Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side in tournaments, it was a great fighter for its time.
