awesome pmp player, you may want to go up the size.
the expandable memory slot will be awesome when higher capacity cards come out.

two main points of contention:
1. no user removable battery
2. "impact resistant" screen is not pressure resistance

:/

1: 4th item in the device description: User replaceable and rechargeable Lithium Ion battery for up to 20 hours of battery life

2: Pressure's no prob...as long as I can keep "nether Rhio" under control.

It plays video files at 15 frames per second...will I notice any slowness?

It will be choppy because of the low framerate, most likely.

15fps is pretty low. I recorded this video on fraps at around 10-20 fps.

Do you absolutely need a mp3 player with the ability to play videos? I really see no point in it...

Yo, this bitch is TIGHT! Somebody fucked up on the specs, cuz this video ain't choppy or anything! This is too good for 15 fps. I'm watching Animaniacs cartoons from Youtube, and it plays just fine. I like this lil bastard...now to get all the Road Rovers eps off youtube onto it.

I'm assuming the quality on that must be pretty low if your downloading video off youtube and then compressing it again for use in your mp3 player.
