Didn't know if there were too many other people watching this show, but I saw some other viewers in the Smallville thread. I love this show, its one that my wife and I watch on a consistent basis.

Favorite episodes? Worst episodes? Etc.

I had reservations about this show when I heard it was produced by McG, but its been awesome.

Oh, and in May, DC is putting out a comic entitled "Supernatural: Origins" starring the Winchester dad. Geoff Jones is writing a back-up story in it, too. Interesting.

Last night's episode was kinda bizarre, but I liked it.

I really hope they didn't finish the arc with Sam's abilities (so far, he's the only one of his kind who has exhibited multiple psychic abilities) with the demon possession from last week. Other than that, there aren't too many unresolved plot points in the series.

Updated. Yellow Eyes drops a tier for not keeping the reaper body and what happens in the season 2 finale, and Red Eyes goes up a tier for what it acquires (or will soon). John's Ghost added to top tier for what he does in the season 2 finale, though he technically isn't a monster, per se. Djinn and Psychic, limiter off added to Mid Tier because they have crazy abilities. Rogue Hunter drops a tier because he got owned by cops and never came back. Black Eyes had a cameo on Smallville.

Update: Blonde girl added to mid tier for having the super knife. Seven Deadly Sins added to low tier for sucking. Red Eyes moves to the top of top tier because she has owned Dean (and, by proxy, Sam).

I'm pretty sure this'll be one of the main points of the remainder of the season, the whole thing with preventing Sam from turning evil because of his abilities. They never did find that other girl with abilities who killed her fiancee, did they?

Not yet, no. Her, Sam's powers, Croatoan, and the demon-possessed guy are still unresolved. If you really want to stretch it, the only psychic we saw who wasn't killed—the persuasive guy—is still around, too. Of course, so are Yellow Eyes and a bunch of other jobber demons/spirits/whatever.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, reapers would be top tier if they were immune to demon possession. Currently, as far as we know, Yellow Eyes is possessing a reaper.

It's like the X-Files, only I actually like the show.

As for new viewers, I've missed a lot of episodes, and have been able to jump back in without much problem...

First episode I saw was the one in the forest with the wendigo, probably one of the first couple eps from the first season. I dodged the show at first after seeing the commercials, but after watching a few episodes, I was in.

The episode with the creepy old man in the painting was good...actually, pretty much all of the episodes I've seen have been good. The one with the angel a few weeks ago was "meh" compared to the rest, IMO.

The one with the guy who had a girlfriend who got brought back as a zombie was...interesting. And the one with the shape-shifter in the bank was good. Mandroid ftw...

The ending was weird for me to watch because Dean cried..........afraid of what he may have to do to Sam if he cannot be saved. The one time Sam gets pussy.........he ends up killing her.

Since the colt is in the possession of the Yellow Eyed Demon, they could very well get it back. Or maybe they will learn some new form of exorcism. Or they could attribute some miracle of God's doing (this possibility was hinted at in one episode). Or they could even bring back a more powerful supernatural being (like Trickster).

More likely, though, they will take out Yellow Eyes with Sam's ability after Sam snaps back to his senses after nearly killing Dean somehow. I don't think this will happen anytime soon, though, as it would probably end the series. I predict that the final story arc will involve Dean and other hunters taking out all the psychics, except for Sam, and then Sam takes out Yellow Eyes.

It looked like they didn't go for a real cliffhanger for the finale cause maybe they didn't know if they were going to be renewed or not.
Yeah, I saw the crossroad thing coming, they always ruin stuff like that when they show key stuff in the recap. The previous demon chick was way hotter. When the Dad grabbed the Yellow Eyed Demon though, it surprised the crap out of me, and I liked that a lot. Great finale. I hope they clarify though how the mom knew the Yellow Eyed Demon... unless it just turns out to be something like they made a deal with him in the past.

1. Yes, that song at that time was brilliant.
2. Red Eyes is the deal-making demon. Dean almost took her out during her first appearance, but something happened to cause that not to happen. In the series finale, you saw what happened. Black Eyes are just people possessed by lesser demons (or Bizarro on Smallville, apparently), who can be seen in the season 1 finale.
3. Yeah, he's stupid, and I didn't even tier him.

If you have an xbox 360, they have the full Supernatural panel on the XBL Marketplace. There's some good info on there, and it hyped me up for the next season. Here's a few minor spoilers:

- Two new characters (girls) will be introduced, but they won't be "riding in the Impala with Sam & Dean" or "eating scooby snacks together"
- The second episode will have a reveal about the Winchester mom, dealing somewhat with her relationship with the Yellow-eyed demon, and Ruby (one of the new characters) will have a reveal about her.
- Sam does not have visions anymore since the Yellow-eyed demon is dead. "No more Psychic Kids, I got tired of them, so I killed them off", says Eric Kripke
- Bobby's character will be back, with more exposure this season.
- Gordon is back in a few episodes
- "Why don't we see Sam driving the Impala?" "Cause its my car, Dammit!" says Jensen Ackles

That's all I could remember for now. The panel was good, very entertaining. If you can watch it, I would recommend it.

Those "changeling" kids were quite disturbing anytime there was a scene involving one...it was like on the same level with scenes from The Shining, and the Tales from the Darkside intro.

Last night was an excellent episode. Now that Dean was taht countdown on him, his character is SO much more fun to watch. He seems to be more worried about getting laid than hunting now, lol. I'm surprised they were as graphicwith the guy that fell on the saw, though...

That was the first time they ever shot the demon, The colt was one ever used once on him.


Other times it was used to save Sam.

Well, against Winchester, I'll give you that. I'm pretty sure he got it in the leg. However, the demon is a shapeless being. In theory, shooting him in the, well, anywhere, should be enough to kill him.

Yeah and the thing was, whenever someone else touched it, they got the god luck and you would get killed. Unless you could surgically implant it into yourself, trying to impant it would be difficult, although I would consider eating it.

Great episode, Supernatural right now is fighting The Office and 30 Rock for the best thing on Thursday night.

iirc yellow eyes never took johns life, there was another demon present and that's who john made the deal with. John had summoned Yellow eyes but he specifically said he couldn't make deals like that. Also you don't make deals with reapers just demons like the cross roads demon, Dean was just talking to a reaper when all that was going down. The site that I watched all the old episodes is down right now so I can't check my stuff to be 100% sure, but I do believe that is how it went down.

In anycase, the blonde girl is probably just a really strong believer of Lucifer and Yellow Eyes' plan to form a demon army. That or she is Yellow Eye's daughter that they banished to hell in the first season come back. Although why she helped them repair the Colt or how is just strange as hell.

You know, I totally sympathize with Dean and his "death wish". I mean, mom dies in a rather grizzly death, dad trades his soul for his, and his brother got killed last season (temporarily but still). His childhood pretty much consisted of taking care of Sam and going hunting with his dad. Can't blame the man for being tired of it all. Specially after Sam got killed. I loved when the older hunter told him that the world might end and he told him to let it end. I mean, he didnt have anything to fight for anymore. Gonna take a miracle to turn this guy around...... Here's the episode explanation. It was pretty good, if you can't track down the ep, read below for the whole episode, haha. I was bored.


A girl died at the beginning, she lost her teeth because a witch cursed her toothbrush. Sam and Dean investigate, find a hex bag in the bathroom and figure out its witches. Boyfriend of deceased almost dies from same witch, S&D save him. Find out that he was having an affair with the witch who killed the girlfriend, so they go over there, but they're too late, she died from slit wrists, and think its a suicide, till they find another hex bag. Figure out its a coven. There was a "Book Club" that the witch was involved with that had 3 other women. S&D investigate find out that 2 of the women are getting lucky in business and personal life, figure out they're using witchcraft. Sam tells dean that they have to die (showing he's starting to have no remorse about killing these bad things). Ruby shows up and tells Sam to get the hell out of town because a very bad demon who is too strong for them is there and looking for Sam. Dean almost kills her, S&D argue, she disappears. They go back to the hotel, then Dean starts getting stomach pains, "like thousands of knives". Starts coughing up blood, Sam looks for the hex bag, there is none, so he drives to the "book club" house while Dean is on the floor coughing up blood. Finds the three women doing witchcraft, but they don't know anything about Sam's bro. Sam figures out that the third woman in the coven is the demon that the witches were "dealing" with, so he tries to shoot her with the colt. She stops the bullet in mid-air, and Sam is surprised. She force pushes Sam against the wall, kills one woman, and explains to Sam that he is no longer the messiah they were looking for, that a strong one is rising in the west that will lead them all, and he hates Sam and wants him dead. Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Ruby pours some liquid down Dean's throat and saves him. Dean goes after Sam. Dean busts in, gets knocked back and force pushed against wall. Ruby comes in, says she only wants to talk, reveals that she used to work for the demon witch lady. Ruby's past is revealed - she was a regular human who sold her soul to become a witch, when she died, she became a demon in hell. Ruby tries to trick her into getting into stabbing distance, gets beat up by demon witch, all the while, the other witch sneaks off to their witchcraft altar, does a spell on demon witch lady to distract her and saves Ruby. Demon Witch lady is not too badly hurt, kills the other witch, but Dean is free long enough to pick up Ruby's knife and shank her 15 times till she dies. They leave. Ruby meets with Dean later and explains that when you sell your soul and go to hell, your humanity burns away. And its not a metaphor. Says that it will happen to Dean, even if it takes centuries. Every demon is a person who sold their soul and lost their humanity in hell. Doesn't know why she's the only demon who remembers being human. Explains she told Sam that she could save Dean, just so he would talk with her, but she can't save Dean, really. Says that her and Dean have to prepare Sam to be as "strong" as him so he'll be ready to go to war when Dean dies. The End.

I liked Jo from season 2 but she looked like jailbait.

Gordon Walker was the one that got arressted after he tried to off Sam.

He broke out earlier in season 3, tried to kill them during a hunt but got ambushed by a vampire and turned. Even after becoming the thing he hated, he tried to kill Sam with a new scheme. Still he had one of the best deaths in this show has to be Sam decapitating Gordon with the barb wire... slowly.

I saw some of the episodes of the first season. I vaguely remember this episode where this kid had telekinesis and he levitated a gun and pointed it at someone and all of a sudden pointed it at himself and shot himself in the head. Pretty eerie too. Last I saw it they had a super revolver gun and their father had gone off to fight someone.
