OMG... I respectfully DISAGREE... I thought The Mummy would have been MUCH better had it not been for Brendan Fraser. Really, Rachel Weisz was teh TRUTH. She was a perfect, beautiful protagonist woman who kept everyone's attention. Brendan is TOTALLY NOT the kind of hard core, fast-shooting male that the script desired. Master P would have been a better main character O_O

I truly enjoyed The Mummy movies, but they would have been much better without Fraser's sissy ass.

Here's hoping there won't be some crappy CG dragon monster at the end w/ Li's head. The main reasons I hated Mummy 2 were because it was a lot less Egyptian, and the whole story w/ the Rock was so bad in my opinion. The premise of this new one sounds like they're building on all the things I didn't like about the 2nd movie. Plus I like Brendan Fraser and Oded Fehr, if they're not in it (nevermind replaced by an annoying blonde British man making crap jokes) it's a totally different series.

Oh well, not like I even see movies in the cinema these days anyway.

the truth and the win. watching her shake it all over the screen is enough by itself, but adding some comedy and some over the top kung fu action should turn this into an instant buy.

nah, I can't see Li as the mummy. mainly for the reasons you just mentioned. Kung fu mummies? no. Just.................no. Maybe he'll be this emperor they have to take on, or one of the ones who helps them take down the emperor. Other than that, I don't see why he would be there.
