making a multi system stick

hey im planning on making a multi-system stick (DC and PS2) now what i want to do
is house both the dc pcb and the psx pcb inside the stick

and to regulate the ground and 5+ (for p360)
what i want to do is throw a 2 way switch inside so if i place the switch on DC it breaks the connection with the psx ground and the stick is bridged with the DC ground
and vice versa

is this alright? or am i missing something else that prevents this from happening?

The rule of thumb is, both pcb's much be powered. As long as you follow that, you're options are limitless. Just make sure power pcb's have power when either are plugged in, and never have it plugged into two systems at once.
