On component cables, is the extra red and white manditory? Or thats just for extra sound?

That's not extra sound, that's left and right speaker and you need that.

The "extra" red and white is the sound. So, yes, they are mandatory, assuming of course you want audio in any form.

nah cuz My TV has the components. It has the RGB lined up, and then I saw no Reds and white audios. But After what yall said, I search the back of the tv, I saw it had another component input for the audio. Thanx for the help. Much Respect
