You know I will weigh in on this. I have played Joe on another account and while talking on the Mic (not giving myself away) he said he had a parry button. Now this could be taken as a joke ,and even if he did would it really matter?? It was said pretty casually. The only thing that might add some type of twist on this is the following. Everyone that is considered good on this site has all been to tourneys where other players have seen them play. I have been to multiple ECCs, Final Rounds, and almost every FL tourney in the last 5 years. People have seen me play for a long time. I have seen Scoot, and I know people have seen Snnaaakke, Phil, and others play.

While I would like to see some actual offline footage of Joe playing, I don't think its fair to call him out without definite proof. When I have played Joe or the other person that plays on Joe's account I have seen things that make me wonder from time to time. Like if there are 2 character space between us and I walk forward block, he will move forward slightly and wiff HP. I use this to bait him for a custom. Now I dont play P groove and am not good enough to comment on whether or not that is just standard procedure for P groove. However I have played enough P groove offline to where I dont see this at all. It could just be a bad guess on his part or just something he does because in lag you can never be sure. The thing is online you can never really know if people are using program pads. I would say the only true way to ever know is to play him in person. So in closing I would have to say there is no proof, and even if he did would it make that big of a difference.

The only advantage I can think of if I was going to have a parry button would be to just program 2 buttons one for left one for right. Since the off state of a buttom is equal to nuetral then parry would be a little easier but not drasticly so.

there is no other way to beat phil. just do random dash/walk grab and spam empty jump into random suepr and of course add some randomass activate :tup:

as for joerex..I dont think there is a parry button but he might be on turbo pad. meaning you can just hold directions to do more parries cuz sometimes his parries are super random and comes out of nowhere. when I play phil or bigpimp..I know they are doing their setup correct. top of that, i've seen a video of joerex playing at the arcade but I cant remember if he was even playing P groove..I will look for the link on youtube.

your alowwed to use custom groves if you mean ex. Its not like it matters, and there is a way to set it up so there is custom grove matches and then there is a way to turn them off. youll find someone that will play scruby like that so dont worry

We all shared the Shinma Sama account. Even that drug dealer guy Jose would play on it. I dont know if you remeber Albert but he would use it too. It was the one with with the big black and blue buttons. Man we would use it for like other online games to and cheat like fuckin crazy!! The best time would be like man almost 3 years ago, me trent and alex could not beat this one guy DJ Ice D or some shit. He had the WORST lag ever. So we plugin the "Lag Buster" and still got beat!! This guy was un fukin stoppable, and to this day I believe he was the "best online" cvs2 player ever. He had the gayest of gayest Ryo.

But this came out like along time ago. On some XBL CVS2 irc room, this isnt the first time I told this story. I even told this story to Crow from Texas last year at FR9. There was a big group of ppl.

It depends. I have had matches with ppl in Japan that were very playable. It seems to me that Texas has bad lag. I can get some games in with OG's like BigPimpin, but sometimes its a complete wash. I live in FL, FL has some bad lag too in certain areas. I live in the SW area of FL when I connect to Orlando or Miami its hit or miss. Eithers its really laggy or really good. Howerever If I connect with my cousin who lives on the East coast, about 2 hours North of Miami, the connection is ussually great. I think it Depends on if there is a high volume of routed Inet traffic where you live. Bigger cities seem to experince this more. There is also ppl that dont connect directly to the modem and use shitty wires and have like 3 computers connected at the same time as playing. I think there is alot of stuff most ppl could do on thier end but just dont bother to.
