The eternal question: Pizza Crusts- yay or nay

went to get some pizza last night after class A bunch of guys/girls at one table ordered 1 pie and had left all the crusts intact.

I generally eat the crust all the time, UNLESS its Hungry Howies. Then i just fashion a pair of nunchucks out of 2 pieces and pretend to be michaelangelo.

So -yes or no?

Unless the crusts are rock-hard and, thus, inedible, I'll eat them. I think it sucks to waste a good 10% of your pizza like that.

what Im also curious is little kids who dont eat the crusts of regular sandwhich bread--wtf? Its not hard, its thin and light for the most part..

It makes no sense to waste that portion of the pizza, when pizza is one of the greatest foods ever created. Of course I eat the pizza crust. Sure it's the lesser part in terms of great taste...but it's still part of the whole experience.

*yeah, an old childhood friend would eat only the middle part of the bread....it worked perfectly, as I preferred the bread crust anyway.

I could go either way, some times I like the crust some times I don't. It might also have to do with the fact that other pizza places have different pizza crust. I work at a pizza place and I got to say there pizza crust is better then alot of other places.

to me it depends on the setting, if im getting good, free pizza and i plan on eating alot of it, the no, i dont eat the crust. because it makes you fuller faster. but if im at home just munching on some pizza i bought, i do eat the crust.

Yes to crust only if the pizza is hot and soft. Eating it cold is like chewing on a rock (not that I've tried)

yay and its a definite yay. the crust is just as much a part of the pizza as the toppings and sauce are. whenever i have a pizza eating contest and u dont finish the crust that slice doesnt count. its either eat the whole damned thing or fuck off. dipping sauce shouldnt even come into the equation.

Little Caesars - If the cheese made it all the way to the edge of the pizza, yes. I have to dip it in crazy sauce tho.

Pizza Hut - Pan, yes. They have the best crust, imo. It's crunchy and soft at the same time. It's even good cold as long as it's not too greasy.

Dominos - No. Their crust doesn't have a taste. It's basically just bread. If I wanted to eat bread, I would have gotten a loaf of French bread and some sour cream.

Papa Johns - Not really. Kinda similiar to Domino's, no taste. Every once in a while I'll squeeze pepperonchini (sp) juice all over it and eat it, but usually I just throw it to the birds.

Giovannis/Vesuvio/Victoria's/New York Pizza - No. It's kinda hard to go from thin, soft, cheesy pizza to bland bread.
