Ok, here's the deal, I'm trying to take a clip of one my mp3s and make it into a ringtone for my cell phone. I downloaded or pirated this software called xingtone which pretty much does it all for me, but here's the problem, i obviously have to download the ringtone and since my plan doesn't have any internet access, it's gonna cost me 5.99 just to get acess to download the ringtone that i made. Does anyone have suggestions as to alternatives? I have nokia 6030 for T-mobile. i have actually downloaded some other ringtones for free because the website sender went through t-zone which is the only thing I can access with my current plan. Any advice would be helpful.

There are probably data cables you can get for this phone which would allow you to hook it up to your computer and get it off there directly. They would definately cost more than $5.99, but at least you can use it as much as you want. The only other way would be Bluetooth or infrared from another phone. Your phone doesn't have Bluetooth though, and infrared would require you have the ringtone on another phone. Paying the $5.99 would probably be the fastest, easiest way.

Try this site:
http://www.myxertones.com/default/

You can upload mp3 format files, choose your tone, and send it to your phone. Just make an account.
I use it for my LG enV
