YES, I'm seriously considering it.
not for any idiotic reason, I want to move there, and work.
so, what do I need to do?, where do I need to find information?, I know there are immigration things, and other things I need to do, before I am eligible to work in a foreign country.
My brother moved to and lives and works in Sydney Australia, and he had to go through a bunch of shit to do it.
I don't know if the process is the same for Canada, but I would like someone to point me in the right direction.
any Canadians able to point me towards the info I seek?, I can't find anything personally.

It's really easy. Drive north until it's cold.
From there on people are nice so it's easy to do anything.
On topic though: Where you plan on going exactly in Canada?
edit: never mind you already answered that
your gonna need like a job thats sponsors a workers Visa.
I'm planning to move/work in Japan and there is plenty of bullshit to jump through there. I have a dual citizenship with Canada, so I really don't know about how it is.

yeah, I know I'm gonna need a Workers Visa, but I need to know HOW to obtain one.
are there any websites that will tell me what I need to do, to move to, and work in Canada?
I'll worry about citizenship later, if I actually like the place.
I live in Ohio, the only thing separating me from Canada, is a big-ass lake. so the weather won't be much of an adjustment.

Is there a Canadian Embassy in the US? Maybe you start there.

I'm sure there probably is, but like I said, I've looked for information.
I remember hearing about the process in college, and they mentioned there was a series of qualifications you had to meet or exceed.
like you gained so many points for having done different things.
and you needed to display a skill that you could do better than any Canadian, but I think that's only if you're applying for Citizenship.
EDIT: Thanks for putting me on the right track!

I don't know what its like living in TO since I've basically been stuck in Winnipeg my whole life. Its not that bad of a place to live really. Despite the bad rep we get here about murders and what not we are still a lot safer to live then living in most parts of the US. The nice thing about living out here is how cheap it is to live out here. You can make about 30-40k a year and you'd make a very good living out here. Traffic isn't that bad here either. The way I describe the city is as a smaller city thats has a lot of the things a bigger city would have. The real downside to living here is the extreme weather conditions we get out here. We get really hot in the summer and stupidly cold in the winter. But th ey both don't come by often so I don't think its really that bad.

If your moving to CANADA you can probably avoid all the airline gayness. When only stayin in CANADA for a short time, the customs are incredibly gay about why ur going there, and when you plan to come back to the states.I guess when your going for vacation they might not be like that but when you go there to go to school, they make an extra effort to act tough.

You should probably be asking people that have moved to canada...not canadians, we already live here. We don't need to go through those processes!
Toronto is the best.

heh, yeah, I know that, but being an American, if a foreigner asked me where to apply, and what they may need, I would be able to supply such information.
not simply because my brother is an immigrant to another country, but because I took an active interest in the immigration and naturalization process for my home country.
of course, I know not everybody has that same interest, but I figured they might know how to point me in the right direction.
Regardless, I now have the information I seek, and I will endeavor to pursue that route, when Time, finances, and apparently skills allow.
