My stick was broken that whole tournament.

My down didn't work.

I played you one game with a working American stick, and I won.

But who cares? This thread isn't about that. Let us rejoice in the old times!

We spoke at C3. Like I said then, you were definitely better by that point than you had been on XBL, what, two years before? Good shit, like I said then.

Still.... the fact remains that we only played maybe 3-4 matches. I played all but one of those matches on either a Jap stick, or a broken American stick. You won those.

I played one match on a working American stick (a Happs Comp, which still isn't my preference), and I won.

Honestly, I've got nothing against you. I never have (read the threads, I say that all the time). I didn't know you've been emotionally scarred this whole time. Sorry.

oh and nothing really "bothered me for years". only thing is that I was really disapointed at you performence. I was expecting some kind of challange cause here you acted like some kind of cvs2 god and offline you had no idea how to stop anything. you were getting hit by so many sagat jump RH and crossups its was hilarious. I kept wondering "is this really the same xbox live dude..why is he just sitting there and eating all these supers and customs" :rofl:

could have been the stick I am discounting the possibility but I tried both and they seemed fine to me. p360s are shitty like that cant really blame whoever made the stick for you and sanwa is well......sanwa :arazz:

Firstly, despite what everyone always says, in almost every post I made regarding my own skill, I always said I sucked at CvS2. Always. Read those back threads. I'm sure I say it all the time.

I just said that other people sucked more. It was true.

There's no reason you should have expected a top-level player out of me. I had stopped playing CvS2 seriously in '02, and I'd only recently really picked it back up last summer (I've since put it back down, and I'm getting back on it now).

Still, I was disappointed by my performance too. You can't tell me that 360 was fine though. You just can't say that. There are three people in this area that use 360's and I remember that we all had to use broken sticks (and lost because of it), because we all tried each other's sticks, and found them shitty (My down didn't work, Steve H's RH didn't work, and Jody/blazeup's down or right didn't work). As for the Sanwa, as I know we talked about there, I just can't use them.

Like I also said there though, you've gotten much better. I'd hope so since you've been playing with real comp. I'm happy for you. Good shit.

EDIT- I'm not blaming the guy who made my stick, DFist. I'd had that stick for over a year by that point. The stick (yes, even the 360, was fine).

I fixed the stick myself later (you're not the only one who knows a little about that stuff). The wire from "Down" wasn't connected.

Snaaake: Well I haven't got better one bit since the day I signed up for XBL 3yrs ago, but I regret not going to the C3 tourney the time you came down to VA. I won't guarantee victory but I will guarantee that you won't OCV Chang. :tup: If you plan to goto C3 or an Evo qualifier let me know and I'll wipe off the dust on my XBL Lag Tactics Manual.
