Since I'm not selling these, but a store is, I'll post this in here and not the trading outlet. Anywhoo, this has to be the best fricking deal ever!

I found a dude on eBay selling this (http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/2053/segasaturnaustcontrollgnz2.jpg) which is an Australian Sega Saturn pad for $4.95. I snatched a few but didn't really like the feel of them. They have rapid-fire settings on the back of them which is kind of cool but they have this cheap feel to them. They are the official Saturn pad in Australia, but I prefer the small new-style Saturn pad in the United States.

Well after a ton of googling, I ended up at a website run by the same ebay seller. On the website, I found this:
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/4173/segasaturnuscontrollgcy5.jpg

The website has BOTH the USA and Australian controllers for $4.95 each! They are BRAND SPANKING NEW still in their totally mint boxes and never used or even breathed on! So far I have bought 24 of the USA style controllers (here (http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/421/samplesaturnboxedpadsnm6.jpg)is a photo of how mint they are). If you buy 12 of them, they will come in the original shipping carton from Sega (12 per carton), so that is a great place to store them. Then just pick up a Saturn->USB adapter off eBay and you will be totally set forever emulation wise!

I don't know how many more they have in stock, and the webstore doesn't have a phone number. Though, I have chatted with one of their clerks via AIM (their tag is available on their website) though I couldn't get an exact quantity available from him. In any event, I doubt they will last long after I post this thread hehe. I just couldn't get over the fact they are so fricking cheap and in absolutely mint condition. Good luck guys. I hope you all can get some! ( don't be greedy like me and there should be enough for everyone  )

They also have brand-new mint boxed stunners (saturn light guns) for $10 and 3D control pads for $4.95 (see here (http://bestsku.com/SearchResult.asp?txtSearch=saturn&imageField.x=0&imageField.y=0))

I'm in Australia and just out of interest, i have never seen that controller that is supposedly official. We got the crappy large saturn pad just like the US at first, and then they went to the nicer, smaller ones also linked in this post (and this is what i have). Maybe it's some kind of alternative though, considering it has turbo buttons...?

I also prefer a stick these days, but a Saturn pad is the next best thing. Thanks for this man cause I'm down to my last two Sat pads not counting the 3-D one.

In Japan, the Saturn pad looks identical to the US version pictured above. During the initial launch of the USA Saturn, for some dumb reason they felt the need to redesign the pad into a really fat pad. The USA team later realized the error of their ways after the system was launched and stopped producing the fat pad and released the smaller pad, which is identical to the Japan Saturn pad.

As for Australia, it sounds like you guys got the "fat" version of the pad at the system launch too but for the redesign I guess they released a few versions (the japan one and then a new design?) weird...

On second look, that Australian pad doesn't even have any branding on the front - there's no way it's an official Sega pad IMO!

Whatever it is, it's pretty rare, can't find anything like it on google images for instance. We definitely got the second and third pads as in your post ozone.
