Has anybody tried connecting a joystick on top of a playstation analog stick, so you could play analog games? Like having a Happ P360 (or any other circular type restrictor stick) placed on top of a PS2 analog joystick and connected by something (like a very thick, firm rubber band). When you push the joystick up, the analog stick underneath would get pushed down, so you would have to rotate the analog stick 180 degrees so as to register an "up." I'm sure it would take some real fine tuning to get a good feel to the thing. Anyway, just curious if anybody has tried something like this. I would love to get an analog type joystick without paying a fortune and having to use expensive circuitry to connect it to various consoles, so it would be great if a person could use a Dual Shock pad to do something like this, especially to play Smash brothers on a big, analog joystick.
Let me know if you see any obvious flaws in this idea before I spend too much time thinking about it. :wgrin:
