To me, there's nothing less attractive than a transsexual. And not because of the obvious, it's just like... the very opposite of everything I'm attracted to. I'm attracted to masculinity, and not only does it go against that in the obvious way of... um... becoming a woman.... but the idea that someone isn't comfortable with themselves and has to do something that drastic to feel okay with themselves, in and of itself, is really unattractive. I mean, if that's how they feel and wanna do that, cool with me, but it's as far from attractive as anything can get. Who are you to say someone isnt comfortable with themselves? Many transgenders feel that they were female from birth. Sexual identity confusion isnt very uncommon among the gay and lesbian community. In fact, I have a close friend that wore drags all through her adolescence so her recent transformation into a transsexual was of no surprise to anyone. This isnt something I pulled out my ass, I know and have close relationships with not only gays and lesbians but also pre and post transitioning transsexuals. I asked them everything.

People will go through great lengths to be happy and nobody has the right to be deny them of that happiness. Some people feel they were supposed to be straight, some people feel they were supposed to be a different sex. Not saying you have to agree with it, but then again you are a gay man saying you dont understand transsexuals, i find some sort of bitter irony in that.

Anyway towards the post about not understanding transexuals: well yeah I'd say I don't understand them. I can't relate to feeling like or wanting to be a woman or identifying myself as a woman. I still hate it and would much rather spend time with him than have him make all this money while Boeing rapes him.

He makes good money (over 50k) but he gets a little sad when we talk about my income. Well, don't bother with bartending schools, they're a waste of time. What he should do is apply as a barback at various clubs and work his way up there.

Unless he knows a club owner or something like that, most bars won't hire on inexperienced workers until they've got a feel for the bar. So I'd start there.

It depends, are there any high end restaraunts where ya'll live AZ? If there are you would probably have to start as a busboy or server before bartending. And some of those fancy places can easily yeild more money than a club tender. The only thing is there are maybe one or two days/nights out of the week when this can happen.

I'd do some research first to find out what would be the best option. I like my club scene cause I make a lot of connections with people and get to know a lot of other folks in the bar business. I usually don't pay for my drinks cause I know so many customers and other bartenders in the gay bar scene.

So much random crap going on. My BF is taking me to San Francisco for Thanksgiving, so I decided to buy him a trip to cancun for Xmas. So....now we're going there, and we're stayin with my mom and little sister (she's 11). It should interesting...having just recently come out to my mom, and I told her about him, and him being older than she was, and she seemed fine with it. I wonder if it will be weird knowing that her son in law is older than her :looney: It's all been set, she's excited we're going, I'm excited we're going, and Don's excited we're going...we'll just wait and see what happens!

Went to a bowling tourney today, it was hella fun. It was for an AIDS organization, fund raising was done, but the winners get shit load of money too...everybody wins. It was pretty much all gay men (some lesbos) including my hotbear co worker and his partner, my partner came along too. Didn't win shit, but it was still fun.

Then a few hours ago I went over to my other co-workers house and we hung out. Watched some TV, played around, watched more TV...he has such a nice body, and he's just hella nice, and we have the same type of personality, facetious/sarcastic, playful. It's kind of nice that we don't seem to get bored of each other, considering I see him everyday at work, pretty much eat lunch almost everyday, on Friday nights we go to Mexican food as well, with him and his friend before I go bowling. Having this secret from everyone at work makes it that much hotter. :wgrin:


Anyways, Mech, I definetly have to go up there sometime...me and Don have talked about visiting the area as an extended weekend trip, maybe it will happen soon.
