Last night, at that party I went to, it was a little overrun by my friend's little brother's group of friends (ugh, 9th grade-ish), and there was this little black kid who was just chillin' in the kitchen by himself every time I saw him, and not talking to anyone... That's a pretty good question. :lol: I've always been/had to be comfortable with everything about myself except that, I guess, and rarely been one to care what people think... I never really thought about it but that was kind of my one token thing that I wasn't quite cool with, yet. Then once I felt fine about it, I realized that I shouldn't have cared in the first place because, like I half-expected, it didn't phase me as much as I worried about. Hardest part for me is telling people that don't know. I still have some friends that are close enough to know but I just can't figure out how to bring it up. The opportunities that I see are when one of them is out of the room and then it would just be even weirder having to say it then say it again when they got back in the room or something. No, I know how to play him (I usually use c.lk, hp+hk -> boost ->hk, dp+p or super -> otg, or just c.lk, c.lk, qcb+lk. j.lp, j.lp+hp if I'm too far from the corner), that's not the issue. Getting in with him is a pain in the ass, and super armor doesn't work against specials or heavy strikes. If I do get in, they're fucked, and they know this. =P

Best time to use the suck-in is while they're in the air. while they're on the ground, just do the ground smash thing(qcf+k and hk, I think?). They manage to get in close, break thru their pokes with B+D. It absorbs lots of hits and can suck in the opponent.
Then there's the option of comboing into his ITE~YO! super(qcfx2+hp) and doing the lariat loop. A bitch to learn, but OH so worth it. Counter or HK can combo into it. Hell, ITE~YO! is pretty much what you'll be using the entire round.

Are any of you queens going to the various PRIDES across the us this summer?


I could stand to meet a few of you.

I'll probably be around for NYC Pride. maybe a chicago or montreal. For the most part though i don't like pride. Mainly because they only really celebrate the most flamboyant of our culture.

Well I've never been to a pride before. I'm starting to get more into gay culture, even though I feel not as gay as the gay people I'm around.

I think it's between ATL and NY pride.

I think I read in the newspaper that the seattle gay pride parade owes the city too much money so it's not gonna happen this year, or something. I had no plans to go, but that sucks, actually.

Neither party wears the pants (or both, but being pantsless is more fun). What do you mean by that, though, about the major responses? Correct me if I'm wrong but in any marriage, both parties have to go through the "do you take blah blah to be your blah blah blah blah blah/I do" thing. The only exclusive thing that comes to mind is telling the groom that he can kiss the bride... which in this case, he could tell either groom, I guess. Doesn't really matter. Anyway, what other major responses are there?

That's kind of an archaic convention, IIRC (wearing earrings, watches, rings on a certain side to say you're gay, etc). No one really does that shit anymore unless they were around when everyone did.

I don't wear a watch either, but I think my boyfriend wears his on the right. If I wore a watch, it'd be on the right, but that's because I wear bracelets on my left. When I was little and wore a watch, I wore it on the right simply because I was right-handed.

You understand that is a ridiculous question though, right? I'm just answering it to humor you. You seem like you might actually believe that gay guys wear their watches on one side universally. :rofl:

Well I'm 5'7" so I don't too much of a choice in the matter. But then again there are so many Mexicans in San Antonio that it's not uncommon that I run into guys shorter than me.

Honestly though it doesn't really matter.

No real preference. I'd have probably said before that if I had a choice, taller, but my boyfriend is like two inches shorter than me and I don't mind at all. Too much shorter than me, I must admit, would be weird. I'm like 5'10" at most, though, so it's never been a problem.

EDIT: Actually the more I think about it, the more I realize I really don't care. Even if I had a choice.

That's why I said at the most. :lol: Other people mess up their heights and it rubs off on me because I'm like "well wait if they're 5'8" and I'm taller than them... I haven't actually measured myself in a while..." I remember actually measuring at 5'9" at some point. :razz: (hope to be there~)

My bf is taller than me by 3 inches or so.. I'm 5'8 he's 5'11

I prefer to be the shorter one If i'm younger.. if I'm older i prefer to be the taller..
