major responses? explain.
I mean the duties that the Man of the House(not referring to Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Chevy Chase's flick, mind you) is supposed to take on, as parse to social norms, like: paying the bills, doing the lawn, laying down the law with the children, if there are any so to speak. Blah blah blah. Or are these split.
...Sorry, I was asking the homosexual male here, or gay guy. Not to be confused with the gay guys of SRK(in the happy sense, like some of you are at the current time, but thanks anyway).
...that went well.

so yeah .. that's split. It's 2 guys.. it's one household just like anything the responsibilities incurred are split. Kindof a weird question.
Can I ask.. is it really that hard to imagine that 2 guys could be 2 guys together? I mean if we took gay out of the picture and said roommates would that help you wrap your mind around it? This is not just directed at Ryoma i'm just saying.
So the sex is one thing I know some of you guys can never fully get that concept and you shouldn't have to.. unless you plan on spending a long stint in prison.. or plan on comming out of the closet. but as for married life. it's pretty much the same as living with your best friend. .. unless you treat your best friend like a bitch and wine him and dine him.. in which case you may as well fuck.

1/. See what you mean and 2/. no, it is not anything challenging. I have seen it done and I find it to be as normal, also. People do it all the time, whether it's same sex roomies or co-ed. It's understandable. I got the copcept if thats' what you meant. And it is hard for many people who have a single form perception. This coming from a guy who believes that "plugs don't go into plugs and sockets weren't meant for sockets".
I asked because I wasn't sure of how the responsibilities are split up. My apologies for coming off as a challenge or threat than a question from someone seeking knowledge.

Not trying to attack you, I know you were just asking and it's a valid question, but everyone who asks these questions: Do you really think everything is not just split in a logical way? When two guys are together, you don't get forced into roles in the same way you can in a heterosexual relationship. There are no social constructs based around who has to do what. It's a very mutual, equal type of thing, and it totally varies from relationship to relationship. There's no man of the relationship, nothing like that. Get it through your heads, guys.
so yeah .. that's split. It's 2 guys.. it's one household just like anything the responsibilities incurred are split. Kindof a weird question.
Exactly. I'm not sure why everyone thinks there has to be something weird about it.
Can I ask.. is it really that hard to imagine that 2 guys could be 2 guys together? I mean if we took gay out of the picture and said roommates would that help you wrap your mind around it? This is not just directed at Ryoma i'm just saying.
Yeah, it's really not even close to as weird and different as people think. It's bizarre how skewed some people's views are... someone told me their friend's crazy ass mom was going off on some tangent about how gays have hundreds of sexual partners a year and at least one orgy a month. The weird ignorant stigma around homosexual relationships... I feel like they're partially fueled by really flamboyant gay guys. The gay guys that you see anywhere and anyone can tell you they're gay. Those are the gay guys that everybody bases their judgment off, so they assume there's all these women-like roles and shit, but the truth is lispy flaming gay guys are just weird.
Being around a lot of heterosexual relationships and seeing how the male and female psyche mesh together, and comparing them to me being a guy with a guy... there's so many conflicts and things we skip, but I can't really just sit down and think about it. It's just little things I notice, that just wouldn't happen in my relationship, like the things they argue over, the gf nagging about stuff, etc. I can't really cite any good examples, sorry.
I'm not directing this shit at anyone either, just voicing my opinion on it. Homosexual relationships are much more similar to any other relationship than people tend to recognize. Just like, think of a good male buddy of yours and how your bond is chill and laid back in a way that you can't quite achieve with most girls. It's like that, with some romanticism (that you don't have to understand) thrown in.
umm...

Trannies are... um... I don't even know what I think about them. They boggle my mind, to be honest. I just don't really get it. To answer your question, there's pretty much nothing gayer than wanting to be a woman. Like, even being attracted to masculinity... I can't imagine not being happy with what you got. It's all about how you use it, anyway. :wgrin: Seriously though, I think being a guy is awesome. I thought that since before I was attracted to either gender.
All I can say is the world does not need more women. Especially not when they're guys! In fact, pretty much everyone on these boards would probably disagree with me up until that sentence.
Also, sorry I post in this topic so much. :pleased:

I read an article once that said transvestites and dragqueens are typically straight. ... but that was in a gay magazine so here, take multiple grains of salt with that one.
Its sad that in among gays we do ostracize eachother even inside the community. I'll hear it all the time the Eww's and the That's gross I'd never do that.. from guys even in the bear community.. and bears are a sub culture of a s ubculture that get's Ewws and "that's gross" from "mainstream" gays.
There was an article in out magazine once that totally wailed on bears calling us gross ugly and hairy. this from a GAY magazine. Same feelings I've heard echoed throughout the gay community regarding transexuals. Sad really. So to answer your question .. it upsets some people.. others just find it amusing.
From what i can tell of testimonys and stuff i've read and seen most transexuals feel that they ARE women or Are men but just in the wrong bodies. To say that.. they feel god made a mistake. that they are actually supposed to be a woman and they get the surgery to try to correct that.
Also, sorry I post in this topic so much. :pleased:

I have a question. When you see a bunch of fools type "***" or "faggot" in a heated argument or "flamewar" on srk, does it bother you, or do you not really care?
Also, I dont want to sound like a jerk or anything but on a "fruity" scale, what kinda gay are you guys? 1 being "you couldnt even tell im gay" - 10 being "I do everything a girl would do but wear dresses......exept that one time".

It kinda bothers me sometimes because I know you guys are smarter than regular guys for the most part.. so if "***" is the best insult you can come up with... I'm like wow.. guess i was wrong. There are defintely worse things you can be than a gay person.
I don't know.. i mean I don't hide that i'm gay but i guess i don't do flamboyance. In your terms... if i never told you I am gay I guess I'd come off as a 1.. unless i'm intrested in you. then i'd probably be a 3 or so.

1: I'm so used to other people saying it and even saying it myself that it really doesn't have any effect anymore. The only time it even remotely bothers me is when someone says it to me with nothing but hateful intentions.
2: To most people, I'm a 1. To people I like or people who know I'm gay, probably about a 3-4.

It doesn't actively bother me, like I won't get my panties in a twist over it, but I certainly don't like seeing it used like that. Or, you know, at all. I really couldn't care less about hetero guys who are obsessed with the word ***, though, so fuck 'em, who cares. They come across are complete morons using the word so much anyway. It's not even a good insult. It was in middle school, that's about it.

1. I'm not fruity nor flambuoyant. I seriously cannot comprehend what it is that makes flaming gay guys feel the ultimate need to act so faggy. I really just don't get it. Oh well. Like... my appearance I guess is a little eccentric at times, but not in a gay way, if you ask me. Hahah, I just came out to another forum I go to and there's two topics on the main board about "wait what? is [name] really gay? what's going on?" and the people that I've met from there are like "...rly? you play for the other team? Are there certain telltale signs that gay guys look for in other guys before they make their move? Because I don't know if its something I'm doing but gay guys constantly hit on me. Then me not knowing its what they're doing I just try to be friendly and not rude. Next thing I know I'm being asked out on a date or to go somewhere else.

Really though, just kindly tell them you're not interested/don't swing that way. Sometimes it's more of a "Damn, I find him attractive but I totally can't tell. Ok people..Dr. Phil time: Gay relationships are pretty hard to maintain because a large portion of it is sexual (moreso than straight relationships). So my question for you is:
For those who have been in long term relationships, what are the keys to making it last? I believe that a key part is communication. My last relationship (which ended inFebuary 2006) ended because the guy I was with wasn't very good at saying what was wrong. He would just keep everything bottled in. He didn't want to say anything negative to me because he thought that I would get upset. I told him that regardless if it's positive or negative, tell me so we can work on it. So we broke it off but are still on good terms. Ahh well...:wonder:

What is it with those really manly lesbian couples with mullets? How can they be attracted to each other? Would it not make more sense for one manly lesbian to be attracted to a non-manly lesbian? Doesn't the butchness cancel itself out?
Hopefully my questions make sense.
Actually, it isn't uncommon to see female black or latina (sometimes white) lesbians to dress up in baggy hip hop clothes, deepen their voice, try their best to look like a man without getting surgery and whatnot, and date lipstick lesbians. Those are called 'studz.'

Ok people..Dr. Phil time: Gay relationships are pretty hard to maintain because a large portion of it is sexual (moreso than straight relationships).
There's a lot of myth there. While it is true that MEN are generically more openly sexual than women and thus a relationship with two men would seem more sexual this isn't true if indeed it is an actual relationship.
I agree and disagree here. Communication is important, but equally important is the understanding of who you are with. If you are with a person who's not ridiculously open with everything you need to be able to accept that. If you are the type of person who feels the need to discuss everything ad nauseam (as most people are) then you're with the wrong person. Some things can and probably should be worked out on your own since most problems people have with other people are personal problems and the person with the problem needs to decide if the "problem" is worth actually bringing out into the open and creating what ever drama ensues. Yes, some problems DO definitely need to be brought out regardless of what type of person you are, but some don't.
Some of my Ex's have had a problem with me not telling them when I had something very minor bother me. But the fact is said thing is minor and I analyzed the situation and decided it wasn't something I couldn't live with. Besides who am I to make another person insecure about something they're doing and indirectly ask them to change it just to appease me with something I can actually live with and isn't all that important anyway. At least two of my ex's told me basically what you seem to have told your ex. That "you can tell me anything, good or bad and blah blah blah." Simple fact of the matter is that's a lie. Because I then proceeded to actually tell them literally everything that annoyed me about them (and not just the annoyances but the good stuff too) when they did something whether it was a big deal or not. Needless to say that doesn't go well, even with the good stuff, the bad always overshadows the good and then people feel the need to walk on egg-shells around you. Which I absolutely hate that and is not something I can live with.

I would rather someone tell me what I'm doing wrong rather them tip toe around issues for the simple fact that not saying something THEN would most likely result in someone saying something like 'Well..you do this and that and blah blah.' Say it then so it won't be used against you in the future. When it comes to relationships, with me anyway, honesty IS the best policy.

The sex part. That's a bridge we all cross when it comes.
I think that communication is important. But I think a bigger part is another C word. Compromise. If you can do that without skewing the balance in the relationship.. things will be just fine. What i mean is you don't always want to be the one to fold to your lovers whims. But to maintain a sense of self while using empathy to balance your thought process it's the challenge.. and one that I still fuck up on every so often. But he loves me I know it.. we have our fights.. sometimes major ones.. we've broken up officially like 4 times.. but only for like a day then we work it out.

You've described one of my biggest pet peeves when i'm with someone.
When someone is Visually ticked off, and claims they arent. Yeah you may be annoyed that i'm asking why you are pissed off. But if you really didn't want anyone to know you are pissed.. Fix your face:
*You walk in. You look pissed.*
"hey what's wrong"
"Nothing"
"You sure... cause.. you look pissed"
"I'm fine"
"Okay.. you don't look fine though.. Are you pissed about *annoyance number 1*"
"I'm not pissed"
"alright then.. i'll leave you alone."
2 weeks later during a fight
" ... and that's just like 2 weeks ago when *annoyance number 1* was bothering me.. you didn't even care."
HATE that.
Even though i do it to sometimes. I've adopted a new policy though "If it's bothering me.. it's going to be bothering you" (if "YOU" are doing somethign thats annoying me).
Which takes some tact because you cant always shit on everyone, (even if what you are saying is the truth) you cant shit on everybody, that's how you find yourself by yourself.
So even when things are bothering me when it comes to my bf I'll say things like I was definitely upset at *annoyance number 2* I don't understand why you did that knowing how i feel about that particular annoyance. It's tough. There is that communication again.

lol, and you just described mine.
No one short of Charles Xavier should be trying to tell me how I feel. And my single biggest pet peeve and the single fastest way to piss me off is to insist I feel something I don't or am something I'm not. And telling me I "looked pissed" will infuriate me and I will then become actually pissed - and things will escalate from there.
As I said in my post, MINOR annoyances do not need to be brought to light. And it's terribly arrogant and self-serving to piss off someone else simply because I'm a little annoyed with something they've done that is minor and ultimately insignificant.
Now, if said thing gets brought up later then it clearly wasn't minor. The only way something minor should get brought up later is if it somehow comes up in conversation without it happening or being an annoyance.
As I said, (and you said -- only in different words) Communication is EQUALLY important to compromise (as you put it) or accepting the differences in yourself and your partner (as I put it). Yes, communication needs to happen and with major issues for sure, but being told about every little thing is simply not necessary.

so do you feel that body language can tell your partner.. or anyone else anything with regards how you really feel despite what you say? Or is it you feel nobody should bother to question you if your body language is telling them otherwise?
Cause i've had this "discussion" with my bf before where we've been to gether for about 3.5 years I've been friends with him for 6 years.. He'll be pissed it'll show on his face .. but he'll Tell me he's not. Which makes me angry because now he's lying to me. and makes me want to know more what's on his mind because now he's lying to me .. hiding some feeling about something that he doesn't want me to know..
you see the slippery slope.
It's almost like yeah i'm pissed but if I say i'm fine you have to ignore the other signs that are strongly suggesting other wise.

The problem here isn't what your body language is telling people, it's what you choose to tell them. If I'm dealing with something and don't want/need to concern outside parties with those issues then I don't see a problem keeping them to myself.
Sure your body language can give away some things, but I've also found it can be woefully inaccurately interpreted by said parties. Let's take the more literal sweating analogy you used for example. Sweating can be a sign of being hot, it can also be a sign of being nervous, it can also be a sign of being sick, or it might even be a sign of anxiety in general (having a lot of fun without being nervous for example). And by assuming I'm hot because I'm sweating might be a misinterpretation of my body language. So what pisses me off is when people use body language as a means by which to analyze me. And when I deny that said situation is the case upon being asked they continue to insist that my body language suggests otherwise like it is some tell-all of everything going on inside me.
And yes, I fully recognize that a lot of people are out right lying about their feelings, (ie. they're sweating and really are hot) but upon asking about it as a significant other you've done your job of caring. If the other party is ready to talk about it or feels the need to do so they will tell you at that point. This is where the compromise part comes in. People in relationships think they need to know literally every single thing going on in the other person's life. Yet the double standard exists that neither person brings every little problem to their partner. You yourself even admitted to being guilty of denying what your body language is portraying. The compromise here is that each person needs to accept and trust that the other can and will deal with things that they can and will deal with. And trust that when there comes a time to talk about the big issues that do affect you they will do that when the time is right.
And even with the big issues, sometimes you have to actively allow time to pass before you bring it up. If the big issues explode immediately without any amount of thought things could go terribly wrong and cause more catastrophic results than if it had waited. As I have said multiple times now, I fully agree that communication is key, but PERFECTLY EQUALLY important is the realization that relationships are truly two way in other regards too. You have to accept that the other person has needs that may differ from yours. If your needs are to communicate about everything and you are with someone who doesn't then you need to decide if you can compromise on that. If not, you're with the wrong person.
Edited to add: If any one watches Grey's Anatomy. The perfect example here is the Christina Yang/Preston Burke relationship.

Except not really. The argument is that you are sending out signals that you are feeling one way and you saying you feel another way.
*for arguments sake this is communication between people that are dating or boyfriends whathave you.. not 2 people that don't know eachother or arent even intrested in eachother cause in that case who gives a fuck if you or I am pissed.. just move on. I think we aggree that much*

In my analogy the last thing i said was.. "it looks like you are uncomfortable"
Your ideology would lead me to belive that you'd likely say "I'm fine" rather than "I'm just a little anxious/ nervous/ sick /etc" All of which are "uncomfortable". So in a situation is the problem that you don't want to know that you can be read so easily? I will tell you that It is annoying when you get read inaccurately by people.. I went to a company dinner once and they thought I was shocked by there behavior ... when really I just didn't give a shit about there conversation. But they insisted that they tone down there behavior for my sake and I was like ... ummm.. okay.. not offended at all though. Is that the kind of thing you are talking about?

I disagree that anxious is uncomfortable, but that's splitting hairs and not really the issue at hand. Especially since that was merely an analogy to a much more complicated issue.
The company dinner example is quite accurate in the misinterpreted feelings thing. But the real issue here is apparently when people are lying about it. Which again, I stand by my assertion that sometimes that's not a problem either.
I guess that's the disconnect for me. I do my best never to let things stew.. but i guess i impose that veiw on people i talk to. maybe that's what i'm doing wrong .. maybe i should let people stew more. :D
And that's the source of what we're ultimately talking about. Compromise! You can't go pulling things out of people they don't want out. Similarly if you want to know things that person needs to know that and try to tell you some stuff. But again you'll have to accept that you're not going to get told everything.
Also, use of the terms "stew" and as Zulu said previously "keep everything bottled in" implies that people have kept in big things and let them boil over to where they explode. Obviously this isn't healthy. I've said all along that the big things should be communicated. However there is a happy medium to when that needs to come out. Because keeping them "bottled up" for too long is a problem. But exploding on someone without giving it any thought at all will be a bigger problem. Pressing the issue out of someone before it's time to talk about it will only make things worse, not better.
Now, since compromise demands compromise on everything... As people we have to recognize that some people will actually keep everything bottled in and won't talk about anything. In this case we'd need to ask ourselves if that can be dealt with in a relationship. The unfortunate reality is in some cases the compromise is a break up.

One could argue though that the, (forgive my reuse of the term) "slippery slope" of keeping smaller issues in is inevitbly going to lead to bigger issues. So then .. is it better to have the small arguments or the big ones.
Of course i don't expect to see eye to eye on this cause again a big issue to you is a small issue to me and vice versa. My friend Jim was livid that his boyfriend kissed another guy in front of him. I'm Like .. so what my bf does that all the time, no biggie. But that's just a case in point. But it is intresting to see your veiw point I've the feeling that my bf is more in line with your thinking.
See still working on the compromise issues here. And you are correct it's unfortunate but sometimes a breakup is the compromise.

That's just a bad rep women get due to being so much more emotional than men in general. But men do this too usually just over different things. And in an relationship with two men, since no two men are the same it's inevitable that one will be at least a little more emotional than the other. And when those personality traits clash, you have this sort of "womanly" conflict.
Straight guys think gay guys have it easy in this one respect because we shouldn't have to deal with this, but we do. It's just (like all things) a little different.
One could argue though that the, (forgive my reuse of the term) "slippery slope" of keeping smaller issues in is inevitbly going to lead to bigger issues. So then .. is it better to have the small arguments or the big ones.
That many small issues is a big issue. And let's make no mistake if I have that many small problems with a person then it's MY fault not theirs that things aren't working out. I'm all about people taking responsibility for their own actions and feelings. If I have this many issues with a person the compromise here is we need to break up, because that many are a deal breaker. I go back to my stance of I don't think people should change specifically for me, if I can't deal with it I need to get out. Similarly I won't stand for someone saying I need to change for them. <<Another deal breaker in my book.
Which leads me to the question are you guys cool with your ex's? Best friends? or just like ' we arent fighting at least'.
I'm don't actively dislike any of my ex's. But I don't talk to any of them either. This not due to the circumstances of our break up, but due to the fact that I don't keep in touch with people. Ask anybody, I never ever call people unless I have a specific reason to do so. I'm not a fan of small talk or calling "just to talk" or "just to say hi." Chaz can attest to this. I don't even call my mom unless I have a reason to do so. In fact only two people have the luxury of receiving a call from me with the "Well, i haven't heard from you in a while so thought I'd call." and those are my Mom (for obvious reasons) and my lesbian friend (for reasons too detailed to go into here).
But we're getting off topic.... so yeah...

Aside from chaz being able to attest to this. I am in line with this entire paragraph.
it's not that i don't value the friendships i have.. I just .. fuckit .. I"m just a bad friend i guess. DLJ can attest. I get busy and I don't call anyone back but I am trying to get better about it. My mom.. forget it.. now that we're speaking again after 8 years even now she won't hear from me for about 3 months .. then i'll answer a call and then it's another 3 months. my dad.. brother and sister.. I've called my brother once. and my sister once. But only to tell my sister to stop talking shit about me cause i have no qualms beating up a certifiable bitch.

It's a way to hit esc on a potentially gay comment.
for instance.. a straight guy will say:
"His body is impressive... No homo."
Mechanica
05-04-2007, 03:43 PM
No homo's pretty gay though, if you ask me.
Like, literally. It sounds less gay if you just don't say no homo. Of course, they think it has the opposite effect. No homo, even though it's mostly a joke, is just like a beacon of the stereotypical insecure straight guy which just makes me think they have some kind of... tendencies. Because why else would they worry about it?

On the subject of body language, what makes me only a middle tier bartender is that what I'm feeling is written all over my face. I'm a very literal person and I'm not good at bullshitting. If you're creeping me out or pissing me off I cannot hide it.
On the other hand my personal customers love me cause I don't bullshit about things when we talk. It's got me a small but loyal crowd of folks who I'm genuinely glad to see when they come up to my bar.
Wow. I've been really stoked about dating a guy thus far because we skip all this ridiculous crap. I relate most of this stuff to things women do, but I should probably realize there's plenty of gay guys who'll do it, too.
Guys cry at night too.....
You know what I love? Gay drama. I never get involved in it but to hear someone else tell me something that happened to someone somewhere, you'd have to ask yourself 'Is this real?'
Straight drama is the normal 'guy/girl cheats on me and wah wah.' But gay drama is like a damn Greek tragedy:
'Ok I went to a club one night..this guy I knew hooked up with a friend's ex boyfriend in the back of a Ford Taurus. I saw them making out and told a friend of mine who owned the car to get the hell out and make sure you clean up afterwards. Then the guy who was giving head, hooked up with some other guy at the club and was kissing him but then the other guy in the car with him, was dating the guy WHO THE OTHER GUY WAS KISSING!!!!'
Seriously..it's funny stuff.

Don't get me wrong, the only reason I left college is cause I didn't care for my major and I still technically have around a 3.3 or so GPA, it's just when you meet someone who's a bartender you don't automaically think "Quality" know what I'm saying.

Well man, and I'm not trashing everyone in the bar business, but working late and coming home drunk and having a lot of people hit on you all night long isn't the most conducive situation for a good relationship. Especially if the other guy is a straight up nine to fiver. I'm aware that this isn't the case for everyone in the service biz, but I can understand a lot of folks' apprehension about dating a bartender, hell I've seen how they can be first hand.

Actually, if you do it with just combo into launcher, sj hk, cannon drill, super, it takes a lot of damage anyway. But 75% is still high.

Why is it that gay people feel the need to make their sexual orientation known constantly? From working with gays I pick up on little bits of their conversations, and it almost always comes back to "I'm gay" in one way or another.

well there was a lack of quoting on your part (sort of like I'm doing now) which left it open ended, and really could have been aimed at anyone. I just know in my posts I sounded pretty slutty.

you must enjoy inducing carpal tunnel on yourself. How about taking the time to, I don't know, READ the posts instead of jumping to conclusions like you've been doing and realize that ONCE AGAIN I wasn't talking to you. Hit that edit button you're so proud of.
Edit: Way to go! See how much of this could have been avoided had we both just dropped it and continued with the thread when it was suggested?
Edit2: Nothing to see here! On with the conversation!
Oh yeah, forgot about your rule about saying my name. Sorry my lord.
It doesn't matter who you were talking to, it'd be cool if you keep the flaming out of the thread, though, man. I'll respect your wishes of ignoring you or whatever the fuck, if you can do that. All I'm askin'. Flame me wherever else you want, just don't turn this thread into a flamefest, okay? Okay.

That's really just a generalization. While yeah, I guess a lot of them do that, there's a lot of us that aren't annoying like that. Don't ask, don't tell, you know? I don't think it matters. I'd have to say it bothers me equally when a gay guy won't shut up about being gay than when a guy won't shut up about his endeavors in messing around with chicks. Frankly, I don't think anyone wants to hear that shit on either side.

Actually, if you do it with just combo into launcher, sj hk, cannon drill, super, it takes a lot of damage anyway. But 75% is still high.

Yeah, so there's this 3-day long concert/campout called summercamp that's in Illinois that I'm trying to get to... May 25/26/27. My funds are looking awful and I'm not sure if I can make it but I really want to and have been planning to for a while. Anyway, it's in Chillicothe, which is a li'l bit southwest of Chicago, I believe. I really can't say if I'll be able to make it yet, but if I can, you know what that means we should do?
Cammy tip: If your opponent has gotten predictable with rolling after you land KBA, as soon you recover from the super, press two punches but immediately backdash afterwards... looks like you're gonna dash in & their roll is successful, but then Cammy does her little backhandspring and crosses them up at the last second, and then you do the combo again. Or you delay the backdash almost a second and it's a fake crossup and you end up on the other side.

ahh, so you play marvel? excellent....heheh.....but that really doesn't work reliably anymore. try some tick throws into otg combos
and don't EVER cannon drill in the air (unless part of her corner infinite), ugh! people still do that and you are SOOOO vulnerable....

I disagree with not ever using cannon drill in the air. Tiger knee'd cannon drills are good in a few punishment situations, and since you tiger knee it you can land, dash-in, and otg them into her bread and butter if they didn't roll.
Some more questions:
Could you guys ever see yourselves dating a woman?

Yes. I'm picky, but if the right girl came along and I was single, yeah, actually. I'd at least try.
When I see a woman that I think is beautiful, I look at her just as much as I'd look at a guy I thought was beautiful. *shrug*
~~
Anyway, the thing about summercamp is that I have to ride a train for like 45 hours to get to Illinois, so I don't want to just be there for a weekend and then have to spend another 2 days riding a train back home... I'm meeting up with a bunch of people I know from online to go to it, if I go, but the resident guy doesn't have anywhere for anyone to stay. I'm thinking of trying to make a longer trip out of it, but I don't think I'd have anywhere to stay after the weekend is over... so I'm still trying to figure stuff out. I don't really know anybody here well enough to ask them to stay with them. So... I don't know what I'm doing yet.

ever in the future? Dating?? No. You guys can have that girls/women are crazy. CRAZY!! 1 crazy dramaqueen *** = average woman. No thanks .. i dont' like those odds. But fucking.. that's another story. I've got 2 women that say if they are single by the time they are 30 they want to have my kid. My bf has like 4 girls that are down with that arrangement with him.
When i see a woman that has her tittie game at c - cups or better? Yeah that gets my attention. Or if she has a noticable ass or a cute smile yeah.. that gets my attention too.
but IMO thats the best thing about bear bars. Bears definitely appreciate women at the bars. Sort of. Bears are the larger, beefier, hairier guys. You know, like a bear... as opposed to what you'd call a 'twink', which is the more effeminate, smooth, typically younger gay guy. There's plenty in between, but if one was to go to a 'bear bar' you'd find that all the guys were large, hairy, and I guess bear-like in appearance. Or if they weren't, that would be the type of guy they were interested in socializing with/getting with/whatever.

1. It's always been easier for me if I TK it. You have to be at optimal range for a grounded one to have an easy follow up, but TKing it makes it pretty easy at whatever range, if you ask me. I'm not saying it's something to use all the time, 'cause it is quite punishable.

I just want to clear this up:
Are we all aware of the differneces between a transVESTITE and a transSEXUAL?
So there's no confusion:
A transvestite is one who only dresses in the opposite sex's clothing and acts like the opposite sex. But is physically and even mentally the sex they really are.
A transsexual is one who internally identifies themselves as being the opposite sex only trapped in the wrong sex's body. These people usually go through with the surgery to have a sex change.
And for those who've heard the term "transgender" this is basically a "catch-all" if you will for both of the other terms. As this one means transcending the normal gender boundaries which both of the other two do.
As for the question at hand. Sure I'd fuck a male transvestite, but he'd have to look like I like my men to look. Cause naked he is fully MALE and mentally male too even if a bit nelly. A transsexual however, No. Cause that's not a male. As for a woman who went male, that's hard to say. These surgeries don't usually create "hottness" going either direction so that's likely a no (I say "likely" because it's possible I could and wouldn't know about it). And I'll openly admit to being somewhat of a bigot in this respect, because I kinda look down upon these people as having some sort of mental disability.

Cool. Welcome.
To answer the Chun question, the dash lightning legs is just another kind of partitioning. Let's say you'd have to press KK 5 times for a lightning legs. KK, KK, dash KK KK KK, lightning legs comes out after the dash. You could even dash twice to hide all the kick inputs if you wanted. Or do b+hp, and press KK 2 or 3 times during it's frames, then dash and mash on KK. Stuff like that.
So there was this guy on another message board that I said reminded me of me a few months behind where I'm at... I made a topic similar to IWST's infamous topic on another board and got an e-mail from someone in the same age group, with the same kinda taste in guys, but he's still real secretive about it, but starting to explore it. He e-mailed me again and managed to find a guy who isn't a weirdo creep, I'm glad for him. It's cute. :pleased: All of it. The apprehension, the embarassment, him saying the exact same things I said... Hahahah. It's great. I hope he e-mails me more.

Would you consider getting any? *other than ears*
For a while i wanted a PA but then i saw someone that had one and he told me that he cant pee standing up anymore cause it comes out of both sides of the hole. That kinda ended my fantasy there.. had my nipples peirced before.. i might do it again but this time i'm gonna get the bar and not the ring.
To many people see a nipple peircing and start pinching and twisting it.. that shit hurts.
Eyebrow rings are cool but if you get into a fight that's the first thing to go so i wouldnt get that. your opinions?

aneros is a prostate stimulator.
not much of a fuck yourself with it toy but more of you stick it in and meditate, move it slightly with your buttocks and it massage your prostate for earth-shattering orgasms...or something like that =P

I've got my lip pierced once and I like it a lot. I wanted another lip piercing for a while but I don't want cockrails/snakebites so I'm not sure about that. Also wavering back and forth on the idea of a nose piercing. Not a septum, but like a snug ring on the side of my nostril... and if I had the facial structure for a bridge piercing, that would be cool. However, I don't, so I won't even think about it. Well, you said other than ears but I want my cartilage pierced once, too.

have her lay on her belly to get in there. It's easier for the firstimers. that's like the missionary position of anal sex. but it really is alot easier to deal with than on her back or doggy style for a first time.
once she's ready you can move to other positions. but take it slow.

emma: let's just put her down.
awesome. had they listened to her the mutant population would've been safe.
I'm a nerd.. sorry.
Loving the new av joe. Rogue *except for movie version* is always top teir imo.
edit: that av as a tat? Hmm.. it's a little 2 dark and undefined to be a tat. but if you really wanted to have it done you'd have to do the entire rectangle to make it look right. maybe back? but that's gonna be expensive at least 300 for a 2" by 4" if you go to small you may loose the image.
Emma is the Madonna of mutants. Notsomuch in terms of reinvention, but her faux British accent. It works for Emma as she has some British in her whereas Madonna is Italian. Plus Emma is a master of words. I remember in New X-Men when Sofie was dating that kid from Japan who later turned into Stuff and the Shi'ar Empire beat everyone up, Emma said to Sofie, 'Try not to let this experience put you off boys.'
I need to go to Borders and read The House of M. All I know of it is Scarlet Witch went crazy and 98% of Earth's mutants were depowered.
And Sage has some of the best mutant abilites. From wiki:
Sage's main mutant power is the ability to sense the mutant potential in others, and bring it into being under the proper circumstances, and to advance existing mutants into the next level of their power.
Her powers also include perfect memory, and the ability to process data faster than many computers -- whatever she sees, she remembers. Whatever she remembers, can be recalled in an instant, with perfect clarity, and analyzed with a speed and accuracy that puts the fastest computers to shame. She uses these "computer-like" abilities in order to analyze and catalogue a latent mutant's or mutant's DNA, necessary for concluding the proper modifications before she jumpstarts them.
Sage has also been stating as being able to multitask on a superhuman level and it is implied she is constantly tackling many mental obstacles at once. According to the Official Marvel Handbook, Sage can battle an opponent, review previous battle footage from memory and play an internet game of chess simultaneously and with little or no effort at all.
Sage's mental fortitude and perception, along with her will power and training, make her particularly resistant to illusions (like Lady Mastermind's) and mind control (like the Savage Land Mutate named Leash).
Sage possesses telepathy which enables her to link with other minds: read and broadcast thoughts, mind-blast, etc. However these abilities are no longer in use. She "shut off" her telepathy in order to grant her immunity to mental attack.

sorry to change the subject, but this really rubbed me the wrong way.
60 minutes has a feature about sexual oreintation, and studies they use to try to illustrate the question, just reinforce the stereotypes.
take a look: http://60minutes.yahoo.com/segment/68/gay_or_straight
degree of masculinity and femininity are subjective, as well as the definition of these. The little boy who enjoys white ponies and nailpolish in the segment is completely brainwashed by the society in which he lives and the standards set by it. "I was suppose to be a girl" is completely nonsense, he just happens to enjoy those things and the problem is disassociating sexuality with it. i'm not saying he isn't going to be one way or the other, but i just don't like how they presented it. So first of all what do you mean she was talking down to them. they are children. Seems reasonable she'd talk to them like they are.. well ... children.
Second, I'm glad they picked a person like her to do this report. It seems pretty clear she's got some uncomfortable chip on her shoulder (though she seems like she's trying to refrain from going eww) about gay. But it's her that has to present these findings to the 60 minutes veiwers.. who are most likely not card carrying members of GLAAD or PFLAG.
Think for a second about how ineffective this report would have been to most of the redstates if we had a person who seemed sympathetic to gays presenting these facts. Resisting people would just say "aah.. that *** is just making this shit up." or something to the like.
All this report really shows is that they don't have any clue on what makes gay people gay. I know Tripplets. No lie. 2 of them are gay.. the 3rd is straight married with kids.
I don't know there exposure to what growing up so i cant speak to that.
I will say this. That to me .. Gays are Mutants. *which i think is awesome* but it comes with the ostracizm of the general public because we arent "normal" We could talk forever about how really nobody is "normal" but let's leave that for now. I for one hope they never find the gay gene.. cause i truly belive that the government.. well.. society in general will make it okay to abort your gay baby and keep your straight ones. The same as if they identified the X factor in mutants *hypothetically speaking of course*.
I spoke to this american indian researcher that was visiting nyc once and even native american tribes had theories on homosexuals. he was saying that he belives that gay men and women were belived to be highly intuned with spiritual energies because they were belived to be "double souled" male and female. He says that history doesn't admitt it often but most shaman and healers in the tribes were gay.
no body knows. I will speak to the spiritual energies thing though it's weird but i think that's true.
I think that there is something genetic in us that is present at birth for some, but turns on later in life for others.
...
..
Clearly what i'm trying to say is all of you guys move into my mansion and we'll fly around the world fighting anti gay hysteria with our mutant gay powers. I'm sending the jet.
And DLJ . Xmen 199 is awesome Rogue got the ultimate upgrade. But if all the people she absorbed were shiar from a war fought a thousand years ago. Then rogue should now be as strong as a shiar alien. Awesome!

take a look: http://60minutes.yahoo.com/segment/68/gay_or_straight
I've said it before (in this thread even) and I'll say it again. It strikes me as completely ludicrous that people insist that homosexuality is absolutely one thing either a gene, or being raised a certain way or a choice. It can't possibly be only one of those, it's got to be some combination of all of them.
I will say this. That to me .. Gays are Mutants. *which i think is awesome* but it comes with the ostracizm of the general public because we arent "normal" We could talk forever about how really nobody is "normal" but let's leave that for now.
:wow: You do not know how much it pleases me to hear.. er uhm see, you say that. People have this fetish with being the same and attach words with negative connotations to people who are not the same like "weird" "mutant" "abnormal" etc. I don't see the problem with any of that because all it means is "different." The hypocrisy of it all is that people pretend to strive to be different and stand out but when someone actually does, it's like that difference has gone too far.
As for finding an actual gay gene, I agree some idiot would try to push that aborting gay babies thing. But even I (who has absolutely no confidence in the humanity of humanity) fully believe that, that could never come to fruition, simply because we don't abort our physically or mentally disabled babies nor do we abort Siamese twins or any other birth defects. The problem of course could be that someone would try to "fix" the babies like being born gay would be a defect or something. Which would be a travesty, since homosexuality doesn't negatively affect anyone.
So..I'm not a mutant?
Damn...

Cosign on the hypocrisy of "normal". That's exactly the word i was looking for.
In the absolute sense of it Normal would only be acheived if we were all carbon copies of eachother. I truly belive that even if homosexuality was eliminated then the next big thing would be race.. once race is eliminated religion.. once that's gone neighborhood... once that's gone eye color.. I mean it's really never ending it amazes me how that argument holds any water with anyone that is capable of even trace amounts of rational thought.

Is it even possible to have a gay gene when there are identical twins that are not both gay? I guess you could say that one would be "actually gay" whereas the other one wouldn't (as far as people who are indentical and not gay while the sibling is). Some genes are "unlockable" so I suppose it is possible one has while the other hasn't, while simultaneously having the gene. In that case it would still be preventable. As of now I would probably say preferential genes don't work that way, there would have to be a number of things to take into consideration.
It looks like to me the best explanation would probably be simply based on the person and different factors that contribute to the developement of the brain through early years (by this I also mean through early-mid teens).
Also, looks like we need to fight against abortion.
And lol at being a mutant. Being a mutant tends to suck. If it's beneficial, probability tells me you won't get healing factor. (I get your point I'm just joking around)

Nobody knows.
You would be a member of the "friends of humanity" in this mutant analogy. You've got more of a Graydon Creed jr feel to you.

They needed a little "convincing." They'll be fine, but just in case, I'm gonna... hang around here for a little while longer. =P
This mutant analogy screams "draw me."
