street fighter 4. the point of videogames is to have fun right? well, lets just say i have fun playing sf3 or cvs2. I go online and play sf4 once a week. i usually play for 10 seconds before i just lose interest and dont care. Like i'll just FA everything then whip out the ultra for no reason even if i know it wont hit. i just dont care. or ill try and win by just throwing and nothing else. or just using st.short. they whiff a srk i punish with st.short. then when im about to die i jump away and taunt till they hit me. ive just given up.

Your Abel is really solid. The only problems, as I saw it, were twofold.
1. Wakeup Ultra is generally not the best idea.
2. Too much Wheel Kick, not enough Tornado Throw.

I've also noticed that if I play online with some drinks in me, I lose a lot to people that do the same thing repeatedly, and tend to lose around a thousand points in a sitting.

Huh. I see pretty much nothing but Ryus. But I just stick the game on Fight Req and practice in arcade mode. So I just take whatever matches show up.

And I haven't even unlocked Seth yet, much less new colors. I tend to never do these things. Maybe I should just buck up and unlock a few.

Des Moines, April 3, 2009 — In a unanimous decision, the Iowa Supreme Court today held that the Iowa statute limiting civil marriage to a union between a man and a woman violates the equal protection clause of the Iowa Constitution.

The decision strikes the language from Iowa Code section 595.2 limiting civil marriage to a man and a woman. It further directs that the remaining statutory language be interpreted and applied in a manner allowing gay and lesbian people full access to the institution of civil marriage.

Today’s ruling resolves an action brought by six same-sex couples who were refused marriage licenses by the Polk County Recorder. Except for the statutory restriction that defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman, the twelve plaintiffs met the legal requirements to marry in Iowa.

On August 30, 2007, the Polk County District Court issued a ruling determining the statute was unconstitutional under the due process and equal protection clauses of the Iowa Constitution. The district court initially ordered the county recorder to begin processing marriage licenses for same-sex couples, but stayed the order during the pendency of an appeal by the County.

Upon appeal to the supreme court, the parties and numerous amici curiae filed extensive briefs. The supreme court heard oral argument on December 9, 2008, and today issued its decision affirming the district court ruling. The court’s decision becomes effective upon issuance of procedendo, which normally occurs twenty-one days after the opinion is filed, unless a petition for rehearing is filed.

I think i need to pay more attention to my timing.. cause abel has a slight delay in execution even more than anyone else. Tornado throw comes out almost a full second After execution. I'll get it down.. let's battle again real soon.

And me and a couple of the folks I trained you with are ordering a server, so on friends only games we can set the hunter damage back to what it used to be (fire is double damage, slashing is 10 a piece). Ha. I should just play Blanka with a turbo on lp. Then just spam lightning and call the other person a scrub the entire match, even when I lose. I couldn't handle Seth, though. Too many moves and takes too much damage.

But my system does freeze during loads a bunch. Maybe one out of every 20 matches I have to reset the xbox. It locks up while loading the match. I haven't had issues with freezing since the NES days. I tried blowing on the CD, but it wasn't the same.

I had totally given up on ever finding a gaming BF, considering I'm only into older guys, and most of them think of video games as childish. I always jealous of all of you that talked about gaming with your BFs.

But consider coming to Hibearnation in ST louis. It's a cheap run in November. the Drinks are dirt cheap and the people are Mega friendly.

Yeah, usually what I do is try to slip in a mention of a girlfriend or someone I dated, casually like it was part of the conversation anyway. However, sometimes that just seems too forced and I feel like I'm either bragging or coming across as blatantly trying to send a "no homo" message without going out and saying it. Last time this happened to me, I had just gone through a bad breakup so the whole girlfriend thing was a sore subject I didn't feel like bringing up. I hate being one of those guys that's always talking about his ex like they're still together, cause he can't get over it (even though I am blatantly guilty of doing that).

So anyway, I had a retail job at the time and was asked to fill in at another store. In conversation with the other employees there, somehow or other I mentioned having stayed up late hours during the summer working on a website. This other dude working there mentions he did the same thing, and strikes up a bit of conversation. He did seem a bit gay to me, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and just assumed we were engaging in casual nerd-to-nerd talk (some nerdy guys just come across as flamers even when they're straight). He finishes his shift and leaves. I keep working for a few more hours, then I finish my shift and leave. I get home to find he has already tracked me down and friended me on facebook, added me to AIM, and immediately sends me an IM as soon as I sit down at the keyboard.

So for about 30 minutes or so he's being really chatty about about web design, college life, and stuff, and we don't really seem to have that much in common but I just sort of go along with it to be friendly (might as well get to know your coworkers a little). I notice he's listed as "interested in men" on his facebook profile, while I never bothered filling that part out on mine, but I think "hey no reason to think every gay guy is hitting on you right?" Then at some point I mention something like "oh yeah, my ex girlfriend saw that movie and said it sucked" or something like that, and BAM! the conversation comes to a screeching halt out of nowhere and he just stops messaging. After a while I send a message like "good talking to you, I'm gonna go grab something to eat" and he's just like "yeah, bye." I never hear from him again. :confused:

I don't know, I think I'm just not assertive enough and worry too much about offending people. Yeah, I do - he's the only character that makes the game fun for me. He doesn't do low damage if you can do his RSF loop. I did 8 reps on an akuma in the corner last night - nasty damage! However he takes damage like a bitch so you make a mistake and eat an ultra and pretty much die right on the spot. Very technical as well. It's a very uphill battle but it's sure as hell more fun than any other boring ass character.

Abel's bulge in his singlet outfit is pretty nice. I don't think any SF characters would be attractive though, really.

Ah yeah, I just don't give a flying fish about cars enough to bother with stick. The first time I learned stick, it was in the dead of night in a church parking lot that has a cemetary. With the amount of racket i was making with over clutching and over breaking, you'd thought i was trying to wake the dead. Luckily my friend, who swears by stick shift, was patient with me.

And yeah, i see that crap all the time. This random dude's truck was already lowered to the ground, about 2 inches off. He also had hydrolics installed. I'm minding my own business at the stop light, his car is right next to me, then i hear a loud smash/thud sound. I guess he wanted to show off, and smashed the underside of the truck bed/tail on the road and broke his bumper. He panicked and tried to raise it, but I think he busted the hydrolics because the whole car struggled to reset. The light turned green, bumper still attached on the left side, and he sped off, playing cool like it was nothing. It was hilarious.

it took me 29 years to learn that lesson. I used to drive myself nuts thinking about why i didn't look as good as the next guy. I used to even get jealous of my bf cause He's so much hotter than me. But like you said i just stopped caring about all that and focused on the mirror. Right now I realize I'm not and never will be a total dreamboat or something but i like what i see in the mirror. there are a few changes i'm working on physically but i'll get there and as long as i like what i see than that's all that really matters.

"Prince of all Wild Things" is a self study piece I did in my spare time. It's my personal hommage to my all time favorite children's book Where the Wild Things Are? by Maurice Sendak, as well fine tuning my craft. It's a very meaningful story for me, as well as the illustrations themselves. I'm extremely excited about the film adaptation of this beloved book, because of the trailer and released images so far, it looks like it'll nail the very essence of the story well, and i'm thankfully glad there are folks out there who know how to handle source material.

I'm very pleased on how this turned out. Especially the eyebrows. Can't help but have catterpillars on my face. People note them often, which is curiously funny to me. The brushwork is preserved in the original size (over 1 mb file), so if you're curious I'll link it to ya.

I've been talking with this guy and he's deaf. His verbal speak is limited and he mostly communicates back in sign language. He has a pen and paper with him at all times for people who don't know sign language, and i'm one of it. Reading his writing is an interesting challenge for me, too, since I can be a grammar/spelling jerk in general. One my favorite things to do is enjoy music (live music, etc), and with him being deaf... it's unlikely that i'll be able to fully share that experience with him. Other than that, I enjoy his company, he likes to be cute and hilarious with his sign language because of how literal it can be. I'm not dating him, we're just friends for now. He's really attractive to me (deaf bear), though. I'm unsure about being more than friends.

Depends on the handicap. Since we're talking about someone who's deaf, yeah I could do that. Of course, if they fit my attraction requirements in the first place. Although I would have to give it some thought and make sure we have enough other things (other than music, haha I'm into music as well) in common to make a relationship work. And I'd have to be pretty into them to learn a language to communicate with them.

If we're talking physically handicapped as in in a wheelchair, I'm not sure I could do that. I have too active of a lifestyle right now to date someone who couldn't do all the things I wanna do like walk on the beach, ride bikes, go swimming, go to yoga, etc. Especially with summer coming up. >_> I feel like a bad person for saying that, but I'm just being honest. Don't feel bad about feeling that way, the worse thing you can do is over sympathize to the point of pitying them and let the handicap cloud your judgment.
