I dont think gay relationships are necessarily "shorter" as much as they are moreso non-existent to begin with. ESPECIALLY the younger gays, I fear for them so much. Nah nah nah, didn't mean to sound offended. The question is just odd to me. Like iwst said, you're worrying about what other people think about YOUR (potential) relationship. Which is dumb. :bgrin:

We can't just look at some number of someone's age and decide if he's too old for you, or if he's developmentally in the same category as you. There are 60 year olds that still act 13, and there are 16 year olds that act like 36 year olds. The kind of person who is going to assume you've got a sugar daddy... besides being an insecure douchebag, is going to assume you have a sugar daddy if they're any more than like five years older than you. But on the real, who cares what other people think? Really. A lot of the world thinks you're a disgusting sinner but does that stop you from being gay? :lovin:

People make fun of me for having a sugar daddy, but I just laugh with them. Whatever. I can see how my situation comes off as a sugar daddy, but it realistically just works the same way any logical relationship would. If your partner makes like 10x as much money as you, he/she's probably gonna be the one buying the meals. Unless you're some insecure person who feels emasculated by having someone else buy your food, but that's a different issue.

Sh1ft, no offense taken, just wanted to let you know that age ain't nothin' but a number. I can understand worrying about what people will think, but as long as you represent the truth then all the people that matter will get it. I personally have had issues with it but that's been more with myself than anyone else. I left two jobs and 45 hours of work a week to move here, where I now make min wage and work less than 20 hours a week. It's a shock to the senses and adjustment comes with that. Mine's a more extreme case but you see where I'm going with it, ne?

Do you guys have friends that get mad at you when you keep it real with them? I'm at my wits end with this one friend i have.

He a straight dude, announced to me today that he's jealous of me because i have a relationship and he has nothing and i still flirt with everyone.

I hurt my back over the weekend so i couldn't make it out to SF pride. Lower back injuries are awful painful. I spent most of the weekend in bed. I'm a little bitter about missing it, but health is more important.

Though, lately i've felt some similar feelings as your friend to another mate. I hurt my back over the weekend so i couldn't make it out to SF pride. Lower back injuries are awful painful. I spent most of the weekend in bed. I'm a little bitter about missing it, but health is more important.

Yeah I've had lower, middle, and upper back problems and I'll be damned if lower back isn't the worst. That's your whole core, everything makes it hurt.

This is an incorrect question. The reason being that the people on both "sides" of that question aren't actually arguing the same thing and are far too emotional usually to actually listen to what the other side is saying.

As asked... the answer is yes it is both a choice and not.

The choice is in how you live. The lifestyle you choose to live. Since we have labeled a lifestyle as "gay" then that aspect of things is a choice.

The non-choice is in who you are. And since we have labeled that with the exact same word we have no end of confusion. As this is not a choice.

Example: I can be gay but choose to live a heterosexual life style. I'd still be a gay man who is dating and sleeping with women. The obvious question here is why in the world would anyone want to do this?? Why would one choose live in a manner they do not like or want to live in? The answer is of course religous and societal pressures to do so. In this case I wouldn't suddenly become straight, it just doesn't work that way.

Most gay people (that which is not a choice) do eventually choose to live a gay lifestyle because that is what they are most comfortable with and like.

The common misconception that many can't wrap their minds around is that simply because a person is outwardly living a certain lifestyle doesn't mean they are a certain way.

Yeah, GGs. I was on my 5th glass of whiskey by the time you caught me, so I was pretty much a punching bag at that point. BB is not much of a drinking game.

And I can't offer criticism. I have no idea what I'm doing yet. Just trying to get the overall feel for the game down, find what moves beat what, recoveries of specials, what other people's supers do (I tend to walk into them) and all that good stuff. I'll likely be a lot more competent in a few weeks.

And really, whatever you were doing was working. You were kicking my ass.

My very first time getting drunk - I had had some liquor once before, but never got drunk y'know? They made the mistake of having me hold on to the fifth. So I've got a fifth of jack in my hands, no lid, and it's my first experience with the "oh, once you're drunk liquor doesn't taste like fire!" feeling. Before I knew it, I had pretty much killed the whole thing straight. I didn't know how much liquor you were supposed to drink or not drink, I was like 16 or something.

They just sat me on a lawn chair at the park we were at, and had a hose near my head. Took turns just forcing me to drink hose water because they were afraid I was going to have alcohol poisoning... I just threw up and threw up and then dry heaved when nothing was left... so it was a lot better to be throwing up water than dry heaving. I'll never forget that your liver is on the right side of your body after that night. :lol: Luckily at that age I wasn't capable of hangovers.

I remember bits and pieces - being handed the liquor bottle, taking a drink. Next memory is the bottle being empty and as soon as I realized it it all hit me and I could not stand up. I'd crawl to the fence, pull myself up, only to fall down the other direction. Tried so hard to get to the swing set and swing on them but I literally just was not capable of standing. Then I vaguely remember sitting in a chair being like "enough enough stop stop!" and like push the hose out from my mouth and be like "let me breathe, hold on" hahaha and then I'd start throwing up again. Trying to sneak back into our friends' parents house all quiet, as soon as they stopped holding me up when we got in the front door, I deadweight faceplanted, and I probably weighed 200 then. Woke the parents up and it would've been embarrassing but I was not capable of embarrassment.

Now when I drink whiskey, I'm like hey this is alright and then I get the worst like heartburn or acid reflux or something. I don't know if it's psychosomatic but I can't handle it. I'm an old lady who likes gin and vodka now.

I'm totally bluffin', I got 7th in blazblue. Dunno where I got 4th. :sweat: But it's aight, I didn't learn my B&B until before my last round. Then it was my first arakune fight. :rofl:

I like Whiskey. I have the tolerance of a rhino, so most alcohols are too slow if I want to get drunk. Whiskey usually has the most effect on me (though, certain wines will knock me over after four or five glasses, for some odd reason). And as I usually just drink things over ice, I enjoy the taste over a lot of other liquors. Jameson is my favorite.

Though, since it's Summer, I've been having more Gin and Tonics. Tom Collins are aces as well.

Yeah, GGs. I'm starting to get a handle on the general mechanics and movement now, but I've got a long ways to go on execution. I miss way too many opportunities. But that'll come. Practice makes something.

And Rachel's low HP is a part of it, but the larger problem is I'm not any good with her yet. Haha. I've got a handful of combos, but her normals make no sense to me. I'll figure it out though.

Yeah. I'm the same way. Though I'm starting to see why Haku is low on the tier list (Not that I live by them or anything, I decided to main Haku before ever looking at one) he has few answers to constant pressure and his slow movement impairs him in this way too. But he can dish out big damage. I like sparring with your Jin a lot, it helps me try and work in my combos, though I still haven't figured out what Haku's BnB combo is haha.
