so when's the annual NAGT orgy?

it would be fun to be stuck in a jungle, while GTC and Angel hunt me with traps and stuff. If I get caught...well...I wouldn't mind losing in this game...haha

hopefully there are sling-traps and handcuff-traps and other sorts of bondage traps lol

"gasp! a hold my legs and arms-strap trap! curses, I've been caught!"

don't forget gags

ok, I'm thinkin about this too much....haha

Dude. I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true - I understand prude tastes about alcohol and I'm telling you, pineapple juice screwdrivers taste like NOTHING BUT PINEAPPLE. I am a seasoned, experienced drinker (I can drink any hard a without a chaser any time of the day) and like I said I've often gotten too wasted off pineapple screwdrivers because I could NOT taste the high amount of alcohol in my drink and figured there wasn't much in it. If you make it right you won't taste any alcohol. If you're that worried, get pineapple juice AND another citrus-y flavored juice and use mostly pineapple juice with a little bit of something else. Trust me dude, vodka is such an easy taste to cover up compared to other darker alcohols.

EDIT: Then again I've never been a true wuss (no offense it's just really not that bad >_>) about the taste of alcohol (except beer, I used to refuse to drink it in a similar fashion) but I promise that a pineapple screwdriver is a total baby drink in the terms of alcohol tasting too bad to drink. If you can taste the alcohol in it, suffer through it for ONE MIXED DRINK because you'll almost guarantee yourself a good amount of drunk. I can understand your attitude about the taste of alcohol if you drink straight fucking Wild Turkey or something, but dude once you learn the art of disguising alcohol in mixed drinks, it's real easy.

Do you know how to drink alcohol? I know that sounds weird, but you throw it to the back of your throat (and just have the back of your throat open, just like how you're supposed to chug stuff). All my friends who have been bad about the taste of alcohol are the kinds of people who take shots starting at the lips.

I hope I'm not a murderous drunk

I also want to remember the "good parts" while drunk, if I ever get drunk....

oh, I guess I don't drink alcohol right then...garsh...
also what percentage should the vodka be? or are there percentages? acohol-wise?

By percentage do you mean alcohol volume...? If so it's about 40%...if you mean what percentage it should be in the drink, it really depends on how strong you want it, but some drinks taste bad with too much of any alcohol. Usually you measure with 1 part, 2 part, 3 part vodka, etc.

And yes mech, it's Stolichnaya! :D

oh I thought there were different alcohol-percentage vodkas

Mechanica
09-26-2007, 02:05 PM
oh, I guess I don't drink alcohol right then...garsh...

I knew it!! You don't drink alcohol like you drink a beverage for taste. You don't sip it, you don't even let it touch your lips (or if you're good even the front half of your tongue). Now the problem is in learning how to drink stuff without it sliding over the entire length of your tongue. Most people who don't drink like that cannot figure it out and I sure as hell can't explain it over the internet.

And yes mech, it's Stolichnaya! :D

Ah. That's all my friend drinks.

oh I thought there were different alcohol-percentage vodkas

Sorta but not really. Standard it'll be about 80 proof like he said (40% alcohol) though there are flavored vodkas with lower alcohol content, I believe. Alcohol content varies between types of alcohols rather than brands. Schnapps is low alcohol (like 60 proof at most usually), Whiskey/Tequila are high alcohol, etc.

How old are you? Waiting past 17 or 18 to drink is pointless if you ask me, the drinking limit of 21 is rather ridiculous but America's too stubborn to change anything so it stays that way and probably will stay that way for a long time. People who have never gotten drunk/never drink/won't drink have such a skewed view on alcohol for the most part but that goes for any drug, really. It's really quite easy to pace yourself and not get so drunk that you won't remember the next night. If you're new to hard alcohol and drinking mix drinks it could be easy to drink too much and do that, but in all honesty, forgetting your night is so easily preventable. People make it sound a lot easier to get way too drunk than it is, if you ask me. 'OMG I GOT SO WASTED I COULDN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING LOL OMG GETTING DRUNK IS SO COOL' Shit like that (even toned down) is really lame and probably what puts people off drinking, but refusing to drink alcohol is a really genuine way of missing out on something worth experiencing. Maybe I'm speshul but I don't see what's so hard about not getting drunk all the time, not drinking all the time, or all the other unsavory aspects of alcohol that appear to be more prevalent than anything else.

Sorry, I'm like posting post after post trying to get you drunk basically. I promise I'm not trying to take advantage of you. :lovin:

Hopefully america will win in the freestyle division...though Brazil (http://youtube.com/watch?v=2C5jymxnN_k)is too good at that.. especially the freestyler Black (http://youtube.com/watch?v=GTuki8rNCQg)

Update on daddybear boss:

So thursday I went to help him pack up his things
everything was normal he was hot as fuck s&p chest hair showing like always driving me crazy. we get to the awkward pause and I said "so.. you want head?"
he again laughed
he said I gotta hand it to you .. you are persistant
i said "so ... i'm not hearing a no.."
His face turned red I think i made him blush he touched his belt buckle and then said
Nah i cant not here..

which makes since even though we were in a locked office it wasn't like we were the only ones with the key and who knows if he's loud or whatever so i said ok and left it alone

after we got outside with all his shit i was walking with him to his car and he says I gotta tell you something
He says "I've been in this place working for 30 years i started when i was 15 and there have been lots of highlights but i'm glad one of them was meeting you."

I cant lie.

I actually got a little choked up. See you gotta understand.. it's the voice that does it for me too.. hes got a very gruff voice but it's like braided with "loving father" voice also.. hard to explain but i'll see if i can get an audio sample for you guys. it's 50% of his lure.
So to hear him say that...... shit my own father never said anything that awesome to me. but i digress.

He went on to the icing on the cake for me. he said "You know sometimes i wish i was really into dudes cause You would be my boy"

****** BONER !!!! *******

he said "The only thing is I don't know because i know with girls once you cross that line the friendship is gone. I don't wanna fuck up and loose you as a friend."

I'm like "Dude. Not to worry at all. I'm not gonna stop being your friend as long as you don't get all gay on me we'll be cool"
He laffed and then we were at his car.

Get this!!

He says: So .. my daughter is away at college now and i'm gonna be at my Condo in jersey for a while. You wanna come over on saturday?

I'm like :wow::woot:

he winks at me and says .."we can hang out for a bit"

FUCK YEAH I'll be there!!

hopefully I'll have a really hot addition to the story

I have a question for the lesbians of SRK (dont know how many exists but maybe some of the gay members can help too.) Do all lesbians act like they pack a penis besides the one in their clothes drawer? Because the manly ones with sharp hair does

And for the gay members, do you or would you eventually fall for one of your hetero friends over time if you've been hanging out for a while? I suspect this of one of my friends because he acted all emo and called out our friendship after I didnt return three of his calls. Truth be told, I wanted some alone time since we've been hanging out for too long and the atmosphere was getting a bit too intimate for my taste. Nothing gay, but friendship was changing. I'm straight and I know since I've been to a gay bar and it didnt interest me (guys were attractive but I know where I stand). Thanks to those who read and your inputs

no.

i will say though just cause you went to one gay bar and didn't find a guy that was attractive to you doesn't mean you arent gay. for that matter even if you did find a guy that you did find attractive doesn't mean you ARE gay.

you needed some alone time from your friend.. but that doesn't mean that because you needed alone time and he needed to keep in contact with you that he was "feeling you" or trying to start a relationship. He could've been going through a rough patch and needed to talk to you when you just wanted some alone time.

You didn't say that you Let him know that you needed some time alone and then he kept at it. That doesn't sound like he's chasin you down.. sounds like he just needed a friend and didn't realize you were not available because you didnt' say anything.

I'd speculate.. that it's intresting that you brought up the attraction between you and he in this situation. could it be that you are possibly attracted to him on some level and having trouble coming to terms with that. No need to answer. Just think about that.

No, GTC, never been attracted to a guy before (or at least not at the same level I do for females) and not to him. We were buddies before this whole thing and after you pointed it out, it may have seemed a bit harsh of me to snub him like that. I'm not homophobic in any way if I'm coming across like that. Don't look like a fucking bum.

But in all seriousness, I wouldn't be able to tell you, fashion wise how to dress cause I've never met you.

Fashion isn't about just "hey, this looks cute I'll wear it"

It has to fit you, like, you have to be able to see yourself wearing it, and judge (seriously) if it looks good or not.

Also depends on height, weight, body structure, skin tone (seriously) among other things.

I, personally, shop at American Eagle, Armani Exchange, Ambecrombie and Fitch, and Banana Republic. Because it fits all of the previous above mentioned stuff.

But...since it is winter (kinda..fall technically)

Zip up hoodies (pull over hoodies look gross IMO), darker colored (dress) shirts. (purple, red, black, darker greens and blues..browns...gray..you get the idea), dark colored jeans (NOT BLACK KFGHDJFHGKJHFGJKH black jeans are disgusting. I hate them)

Beanie Bills are always good (and beanies in general) mono-colored ones work well.

For the best few years Sandals have been worn year round..though I don't like sandals...I still wear them, so, I suggest the same.

Now for stuff you should do EVERY day.

Wash Face (acne pads...whatever), if hair is short enough, STYLE IT, use wax though, it gives a more natural look to it and you can be more creative with it than with hair gel.

Cologne is always a plus, nothing is hotter than a guy/girl that looks AND smells good. Armani's colognes are really good, so is Ambecrombie and Fitches.

uh...

off the top of my head that's all I can really think of

hope that helped to an extent.

Yeah, we talked about it in greater detail last night (after fucking like jackrabbits mind you <3). We both agree that since the both of us are so shy and awkward, it would need to be a particularly good friend, or at least someone really good at making us comfortable.

could you also take a ninja picture of his ****? :P

Why can't you just type out "cock"? It's not like you're fooling anyone.

Anyway, with regards that situation, it appears that I'm the only naysayer, GTC.

I've never understood the seeming obsession that it seems like most "gays" have for ""straight""--double quotations there to account for both distate of that term and because of how many so-called guys supposedly ending having sex with so-called gay guys--guys. Outside of the more obvious feelings of fear of rejection and fear getting attacked/beaten, it seems like it would just be plain disrespectful after the first instance of accidentally hitting on someone (and this would go for any sexuality, though heteorsexuals have much less to fear in terms of the person they're asking out beating them--maybe their significant other, though).

I mean, I could understand if you were like one of the people that didn't believe someone when they said they were "straight" and you somehow believed sucking his dick would bring him out the closet. However, your recent post blindspot proves that you aren't. So...it just seems...contrary, especially since you're dating someone else.

I guess it just means that I'll never understand "fuck buddies" or "one night stands", even if "open" relationships are somewhat understandable.

That said, I also don't believe that "nothing" will change between you and your former boss--the fact that he was your boss just seems like it's more inappropriate in mind since this seems to be have been going for a while when was actually still your boss--but I'm sure you know that "risk" and it's not like you'll heed my judgmental warnings anyway.

At least he's not still your co-worker. That would be at the very least awkward....

Like this whole post.

Oh well.

Sexual attraction does not know or bow to those terms. Just because a guy is straight (or assumed to be so), that does not stop me from finding him really attractive, and given that one can assume that the majority of men are straight, it's not all that unlikely that one of them happens to be really really really fucking hot. At this point, we're simply responding to instinct when we make an attempt on someone (many of which I've made, and understandably failed, and either respectfully dropped the issue or had a good friend turn on me because of it). I wouldn't call it an obsession so much as it's simply an extension of the fact that we happen to like guys (although there is a sort of forbidden aspect to it, IE "that which you want the most is that which you can't have"), and even though hetero is assumed, it isn't always accurate (most of us can easily pass for hetero as long as we're not talking about gay stuff).

At any rate, I don't really see what's wrong here. He tested the waters, got a certain reaction and went with that. It's not like the guy said "no, sorry but guys aren't my thing and I'm not interested" only to have GTC pester him into agreeing. The guy pinched his ass, after all.

What is there to understand? Sometimes people just want to get off, and a romantic attachment isn't really necessary to do so. Hence, people hook up with other people they find attractive, be they strangers or good friends, and have a good time without the BS.

You're very cerebral, so I'm very surprised to hear you say that. It really is pretty cut and dry as long as you can separate sex from love.

Oh well.

he's not married

I'm attracted sexually. I let him know that.

He has shown at least a passing intrest in exploring that with me. my last post was just another installment in a long running series of encounters with this man.

In any case. Nothing will change... even if it does change whos to say it wouldn't change for the better. I've hooked up with guys that have become good friends. I've made friends with people and hooked up with them after a friendship was established. I guess you are judging the situation based on your standpoint .. and maybe were you in my stead things would be "different" but really you arent.

Also i'm not sharing this as an example for anyone else to follow this is just me talking to my buds who understand that I'm not some kid running around hap hazardly picking up "straight guys".

Open relationships arent for everyone. but it works for me and my bf. Every relationship has different rules and the "rules" in my relationship allow for me to do this. So i'm not disrespecting my bf, I'm not disrespecting the straight guy that was my boss, and I'm certainly not even pushing myself on him. I think you are jumping the gun to assume that i'm throwing myself at this guy. But watever.. i realize that you couldn't pull off something like this as a heterosexual but hey.. sucks to be you I guess.

No disrespect. I'm just saying is all.

Also.. for the record nowhere in my post did i say i was looking for "advice" on how to handle this. Or opinions on the course of action I'm taking really.. I'm grown. I'll do what i want to do really. but I'm keeping a few people who want to know updated via the thread

Sexual attraction does not know or bow to those terms. Just because a guy is straight (or assumed to be so), that does not stop me from finding him really attractive, and given that one can assume that the majority of men are straight, it's not all that unlikely that one of them happens to be really really really fucking hot. At this point, we're simply responding to instinct when we make an attempt on someone (many of which I've made, and understandably failed, and either respectfully dropped the issue or had a good friend turn on me because of it).

...It's not like the guy said "no, sorry but guys aren't my thing and I'm not interested" only to have GTC pester him into agreeing. The guy pinched his ass, after all.

I wasn't disputing that.

I wasn't attempting to, at least.

I certainly understand the whole "we can't help who we're attracted to" spiel since it gets used regardless of sexuality, mostly to justify stupid acts based on attraction to someone who obviously (currently) rejects us or we otherwise dislike or know to be an asshole.

I know the guy flirted back, which is why I comment on the whole "he's straight " thing as well. So I don't fault GTC for that either.

It just seems non-sensical to me, unsurprisingly.

What is there to understand?...

You're very cerebral, so I'm very surprised to hear you say that. It really is pretty cut and dry as long as you can separate sex from love.

What exactly surprises you about that? I've never been pro-either of those things, but I certainly can't remember saying that I believe that to be unrelated (despite, you know, "love" in the way that most people use still seeming a mere shade upon the surface of this existence).

Sex is a boring invasion of the body to me. It's very little more to me than that.

Between that and a very poor body image (which I'll not [solely] blame on going to Catholic school until college), it's more of sexual attraction being an alien thing to me since humans are so filthy and plain, if not ugly, looking for the most part. Seriously, I can't tell most people apart after working at retail for more than a year and being in college for more than two.

I've never been much a people person and with all the porn I've watched making sex that much more of "distant" thing, it's difficult for me to wrap my mind around want to consent to any form of "that" with more than one person over a reasonable duration of time.

...But maybe I'm just an old-fashioned geek.

Probably.

he's not married

You say that like it means something to me.

I don't believe in married, though that would still, I guess because even I've been indoctrined in some things that I can't shake off, make it "worse" (marginally) to me.

It was far more the case you were co-workers and this seems to have been going on for a while that "bothered" me.

Also.. for the record nowhere in my post did i say i was looking for "advice" on how to handle this. Or opinions on the course of action I'm taking really.. I'm grown. I'll do what i want to do really. but I'm keeping a few people who want to know updated via the thread

Of course.

If I were in charge of someone's life, I'm sure that I would make horrible, horrible mistakes...like putting myself in charge of someone's life. That's why one of the many reasons I don't want kids, but that's another story.

As for "advice", I wasn't really trying to give it. Merely commenting. This is why I put "oh well" at the end of my post, because even if it was advice advice, I doubt you would take it.

Not you even should, just because it's something that I would never do.

Oh well. You know that already.

It's really not that unusual, but you have to think of sexual orientation as a spectrum and not as black and white. The guy may be "straight" in that he generally prefers women, just as I'm gay in that I generally prefer men, but it's not all that unlikely or nonsensical for him to have some interest in pursuing any sexual relations with other guys who show interest, and vice versa for me pursuing women who show interest (if they're my type =P).

In that sense, I can definitely sympathize with you as far as your distaste for these terms, because it REALLY isn't always as simple as "100% gay" or "100% straight" (and nevermind that true bisexuals/pansexuals with no real preference are especially rare).

What exactly surprises you about that?

Those I've seen and known to have a more cerebral personality generally don't have much trouble with these things, but you're admittedly different in that an understanding of the more social aspects seem to elude you.

Sex is a boring invasion of the body to me. It's very little more to me than that.

Boring? Now THAT'S an interesting opinion.

I've only been sexually active (and with only one partner, outside of some slight shenanigans with girls and like one other guy) since age 18 (I'm 21 now), but I can't imagine being in that mindset because it's almost always been rather fun for me.

Between that and a very poor body image (which I'll not [solely] blame on going to Catholic school until college), it's more of sexual attraction being an alien thing to me since humans are so filthy and plain, if not ugly, looking for the most part. Not to patronize you or anything, but that's really a shame. For all I know you're probably really cute too (not attempting anything funny, it's just that a lot of guys I've had a thing for have historically had a horrible self-image for one reason or another).

Also, working in retail for a little over a year and being in college for about 3 or so only further enhanced my tendency to sort people into "want to fuck" and "other" categories, but that's just me. =P

It's really not that unusual, but you have to think of sexual orientation as a spectrum and not as black and white.

I do. I was just rolling my eyes at the people that think it is absolute since I'm generally a relativist.

Those I've seen and known to have a more cerebral personality generally don't have much trouble with these things, but you're admittedly different in that an understanding of the more social aspects seem to elude you.

Elude me? How so?

I don't me to come off as if that's inapplicable or that I know everything, but there isn't much to society that I wish to "grasp" given my current understanding of it.

It's merely another necessary evil to me at this point.

Boring? Now THAT'S an interesting opinion.

I've only been sexually active (and with only one partner, outside of some slight shenanigans with girls and like one other guy) since age 18 (I'm 21 now), but I can't imagine being in that mindset because it's almost always been rather fun for me.

Oh, I'm sure it's fun in the heat of the moment, before all the shame and stuff sets in the afterglow--this is why I've never understood people always saying other need to get "laid" in attempt make that person feel better or try to clear their (upper) heads.

I'm rather equally sure that it will get boring after while, maybe not as much as the supposed Lebsian Bed Death I've heard about, but the same person can only be interesting for a finite period of time in my eyes. That said, "ironically", the only thing I would want relationship-wise--monogamy--I know to be the single most queer thing about human sexuality (...outside of certain "fetishes" *shiver*).

But, yeah, for the amount of time spent acquiring it--another of the many problems with sex that I won't go into--and attempting to acquire it, sex is a (boring) waste of time that you could be using to better yourself if you're not having kids.

(And, no, I'm not someone that believes that people should only have sex to have kids. The planet has too many people as it is.)

Not to patronize you or anything, but that's really a shame. For all I know you're probably really cute too (not attempting anything funny, it's just that a lot of guys I've had a thing for have historically had a horrible self-image for one reason or another).

Well, I've had the beginning of bitchtits for a while (which I plan to lose), so maybe to you'd think I was somewhat cute. But clothing-wise, I'm always covered up outside of my face and hands (most of the time) and even that might change soon, so I doubt you even tell.

Otherwise, that just sounds like you have "pitydar" or something.

Also, working in retail for a little over a year and being in college for about 3 or so only further enhanced my tendency to sort people into "want to fuck" and "other" categories, but that's just me. =P

I work in the kids area half of the time, so it's kind of my job not to be attracted to people on the floor.

I seem to be cashiering more and more, but while up there, I just focus on looking half as surly as usual, making sure I ask everything, and not focusing on something embarassing as clevage or huge ass burn scars or women with mustaches (which has happened twice and was more disgusting than than burn scars, which didn't even much phaze me :wasted: ).

It's not as bad as "Hey, Goon A" and "Hey, Goon B". I remember people's faces, barely, but they really do look alike to me and when I'm up I'm thinking more about their money and how dirty is more than "hey, the goon's cute".

But that's just me. Apparently.

Funny, I said the samething too when I was a virgin.

-SH

Yeah, I'm sure that I would say the something contrary to that for a while after I lost my "virginity", but that's especially what worries.

Even without the whole "Pringles" attitude towards sex that (American) men are "supposed", sex/porn takes up too much of my time as is. I can't imagine much less focus on other things than now.

I wear glasses. <3

Fuck dude, I leave for one day and this thread goes all wacky. I came to the conclusion since I've been fucking guys since I was 14 and am now at the 50+ rate, I know what I like, what I don't like, and know what I'm doing. So I will not take advice of someone who is still a virgin to the subject <3 On the other hand, GTC, your advice is rather welcome.

GTC, how did it go with your boss?

The reason I didn't post all day yesterday is because I spent the whole day with my co-worker. We hung out with this friends he was visiting out here, went to breakfast with them. We then went to the movies, then I took him to my house out here in Palm Springs and showed him the house. Went back then went in the jacuzzi for a good hour. We then got ready and went to a gay bar, then later dinner, then back to where he was staying. I don't want to get into any details. I actually did write everything that happened and had like 6 paragraphs going, so I deleted them. But it was the most passionate night, probably of my life.

I am so used to fucking a guy usually the first time I meet them. I usually don't want to talk to them afterwards, and the ones I do usually end up being douches, and are better for a lay than anything else. Well in this case, I've already known my co worker for a long time. We go to lunch almost everyday, well, me, him, and these other 2 girls in HR. We've hung out, gone to the movies, etc. We're really good friends, and the whole time I've known him it's been rather small flirting going on. I went from feeling nothing for him, and as time went on my feelings increased, but he never really made a move, and I wasn't sure if he was into me....boy was I wrong. So taking all this into consideration, and 5 months of longing put together into one night...it was hot as fuck.

Although I like sex, foreplay, and everything leading to it is the hottest part for me....it's hard to find guys that are into the same thing. TO MY LUCK, this was exactly what he loved to...so we had fun for hours....went to bed....woke up in the middle of the night and went again. And I said fun because when I finally came it was 6:30am...probably the biggest load I've ever shot. And there was no sucking of dicks, or fucking involved throughout all this...if you can believe that. He is a really passionate man, into kissing, and touching (which is really hard to find), and he was good at it too...he drove me wild.

So he had to leave early to go back to LA, he packed up, and everything was normal...it didn't feel awkward or anything, which I thought it would. I asked him during the night if it felt weird sleeping with a co-worker, and one half is age for that. He said that he hadn't slept with someone my age in 20 years, and he had told me before that he wouldn't want to cause it would feel like being with a child, but he said with me it felt really comfortable and natural...which is how I felt about him.

Anyways, I need to stop now. But this was hot, and passionate, and I'm loving being 21 so far. Sorry for those who can't understand the concept of sex/love, but maybe it's not for everybody. Oh, and he is the HR Manager, the guy who hired me...how's that for morals?

I guess this may sound silly to some but for me Eye shape and eyebrows are hotter than eye color.

Some people are blessed like Khaotika and have both.

I generally like to get a whole profile of someones face even if they are squinting at the sun sometimes its hot to see nice full eyebrows ( not unibrow) but full that's one of the key features that is a turn on for me in a guy.

We know who you are...it's clearly labeled on the left hand side.
You're not quoting yourself... so it's not like

LOL Bob is funny. I'll get on that when it's not 5:30 in the morning...

My boyfriend's way too light of a sleeper! I woke up with him on his couch and felt really bad. He insists it's fine but I don't think it is. I'm trying to get him in the habit of pointing it out and telling me to stop fidgeting and moving around, 'cause I do it just because I've been used to sleeping by myself for my entire life... even though I sleep way better with him I'm trying to learn to move around less. Agh. That's the one thing we really differ in, I sleep like a rock and him like a feather.

On the whole open relationship topic, I kinda wish I could attempt that without feeling extreme guilt... I love him way too much for someone I don't ever get to see. I almost cried thinking about how long it'll probably be 'til I see him again when I left this morning... Kinda embarassing but true. I was thinking maybe it would help me not be so attached but I just can't seem to do it. Ugh, and he leaves for France for a week next Monday then he'll probably be so packed with stuff that we can't even fucking hang out on the following Monday which is my birthday. He also said something over dinner about having to go live in France for a couple months if things don't get better with them or something? That pretty much leaves me speechless, I'm seriously considering bombing Boeing. Stop taking my boyfriend away! Just because he doesn't have a wife doesn't mean he doesn't have someone at home! *sigh*

Well um, now that I'm done venting about my hopeless love, what's new with you queens? I finally got the final organizational things for my apartment - desk/chair, bed frame/boxspring, shower curtain, dresser, bookshelf... It's awesome. Lonely though... and cold.

Anyway, what kind of effects has messing with other dudes had on your relationships (that is, something that's okay with your partner, not weird shady stuff behind the back)?

Sending you a PM.

GTC: Seriously? You guys made out? Holy hell that's actually a fair bit hotter than what I thought would happen. =D

you know what it's definitely just as satisfying as if i had done that also. It's weird. Although i still really want to seal the deal.

On the whole open relationship topic, I kinda wish I could attempt that without feeling extreme guilt...

open relationship is definitely not for everyone. I heard someone say "it seems like all gay guys are open" Not true.. and even the ones that are have there own rules for "open"

so it's not like i could run around screwing anyone I want and think everything is gonna be peachy when i get home. In our relationship he can do what he wants and i do what i want but we have to let eachother know, and there is no "dating".

I travel alot for work so when i'm away or even if not if he wants to hook up with someone he'll call me and say look i met this guy from X he's in town and wants to play with me. do you mind if i have him over?

typically i'll say sure I don't mind and that's that. Or if i know something about someone that he wants I'll just tell him no that's no good and then that's what it is.

theres no dating as in it's one thing to hang out withsomeone you wanna play with it's another thing entirely when you are "dating" that person. sometimes that difference is subtle sometimes not. but mostly you know when you are trying to go beyond hanging out with someone. were i in your stead mech I wouldnt introduce something so .. left feild into a relationship that is definitely new. I mean my bf and I went into this knowing we wanted to be open and even then.. those first few times.. watching him make out with someone else the first time was rough.. I almost tore the guy's head off. Now i try to get him laid every where we go :lovin::wgrin:

Anyway, what kind of effects has messing with other dudes had on your relationships (that is, something that's okay with your partner, not weird shady stuff behind the back)?

We've had a few moments where there has been added tension because we are open... mainly .. okay.. I'll share with you guys cause i love you all and we're good like that.

Even though we are open we rarely ever hook up. On average he hooks up out side the relationship 5 to 6 times a year. I will probably do that maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Alot of people assume we do it more than that. but he usually hooks up He'll meet a guy online and then the guy comes over and thats that. for some reason I always get the 'I was in the back of the bus and this guy whipped it out, or the delivery boy came in to the house and wanted a knob job...' you see.

Quality v Quantity. Btw the Bus story is real. And so is the delivery boy ( man). keep in mind when i tell you guys these things.. they are typically Years apart. so it's not like I'm knocking it down consistantly :sad: although if I were :lovin::lovin::looney::looney:

you guys are all homo's (no offense)

Your face is a homo.

GTC is right about the rules thing. The way my bf and I have it, I don't mind if he does anything on his own (which he wont because he's timid as fuck), but he's not comfortable with me fucking around without him; so basically the compromise is that we only play together.

Y'all bitches are hella gay.

Yes offense. yes homo.

So I'm at work today, and my coworker is here too...things are like normal, which is good. That night was seriously one of the hottest I have ever had...if not the hottest. GTC asked me if I would feel awkward afterwards if I did something with my coworker, and nothing awkward yet. We were looking up cooking classes earlier, trying to decided which we're going to take...

He knows all about my BF, and has even met him, and he still went for it...it's really easy having my BF be elsewhere during the week. I would probably stop the whole whoring around thing if I had something like a partner here during the week. We'll see how things turn out...

Yet..like 90% of the people who meet me for the first time THINK I'm gay cause I act very feminine. I.E. use a lot of odd hang gestures, do really girly/ditzy things when I'm angry, say "like" and "cute" a lot. Get over excited about new clothes/outfits

And the whole thinking guys are attractive (no homo) thing.

oh, and slapping friends on the ass and saying "good game" after playing MvC2 or 3S at the arcade. Granted..we all know our rule "it isn't homo if you say good game after words, even if you grab" but outsiders don't know this. :bluu:

I'm sure the whole story of me and my friend Joshy spooning while watching "Chronicles of Riddick" didn't help either.

And the fact the old DDR team I was on was "Team Ghey Seckz!"

Go figure.

Whoa dude...

I agree, that guy is HELLA gay.

Stuart Hayden
10-01-2007, 05:42 PM
-_-; Not reallllly

Lemme explain each one:
I use a lot of hang gestures when I talk out of habit, it's mainly when I was in drama and debate class in high school for the fact it's encouraged to do so. Also, I hate the sound of my natural voice cause it's really like..grainy and gravely. so I usually put a spin on it or whatever to make it..iunno, more soft spoken I guess.

The saying cute/girl words a lot is namely because aside from like the 8 people I game with, all like 30 something of the rest of my friends, and all the people I talk to online are girls. So it's out of force of habit I guess.

THough my love for cute clothes/outfits is because of the whole fashion career thing.

The ass slap thing. A lot of my friends who played fighters with me were in Football and Basketball, so, they did it out of force of habit. And one day they did it to me and I was like "lfgjhdhglh wtf?" and they said "no homo" and I thought it was relatively funny so we made a bunch odd rules when it came to gay situated things so they wouldn't be gay.

The spooning thing. xD Okay....this one is kinda weird.
It wasn't really spooning,
I shouldn't have used that word.

But I went over to my friend Josh's house one evening in the summer a few years ago and it was REALLY hot (for Washington any how) and I had just left my Cross Country meet so when I got there I didn't have a shirt on and was only in my track shorts and Josh was in the shower but his mom let me in.

So I went in and layed down on his bed cause I was helluh tired and when he got out of the shower and was in his boxers, he was like "wtf are you doing" and since I was already half asleep I told him "about to go to bed" and he said basically "fuck no" and tried to push me off his bed so he said fuck it and started climbing over me and when he was doing that his mom walked in and she was like "WTF ARE YOU GUYS DOING"

Josh promptly replies "WTF DOES IT LOOK LIKE! HAVING GHEY SEX!" AND I WAS LIKE X_x

And basically the story was retold so much among friends, it ended up to everyone as "spooning" so...
Oh yeah, and the Riddick thing, right after that happened, I promtply moved over to his computer chair and he turned his TV on and it was the infamous Vin Diesel killing some nigga with a tea cup.

as for the DDR team thing, easy, the leader was a gay friend of mine and I didn't know the team name until I was up at our first tournament. And I was helluh embarrassed when they called out "Now playing for Team Gay Sex, Stuart Hayden"

Yeah dude, something about online dudes gives you a weird freakishly high chance of flaking. But DJ's right I'd rather 'em flake before I met 'em than some ways down the road, you know? My only experience, unfortunately, is meeting guys online (I mean how else was I supposed to, you know? I can't go to gay bars or anything). Let's see experience #1 was ridiculous, might as well have been a flake, same with #2 #3 and #4... I'm pretty sure #5 was when I got lucky and found the guy I'm with now. I'm pretty sure the craigslist ratio of sane to not is definitely a lot higher than 1 in 5, I just got lucky. The other four weren't actually even that awkward for meeting someone online, but I could tell they were just into it to get off and go. Except the um... fourth? guy. He was hella into me and whatever made me happy but he was just really creepy and well... ugly, to be honest. I was like "yeah" when he was like "think we can see each other again" and then I signed onto yahoo just to block him so I'd never have to talk to him again.

It's really hard to find a sane, not-flaming guy when you're under 21. I'm not sure it's any easier after 21, but at least then it's easy to start sifting through the losers. Before you can go to bars, it's like you're totally hopeless. Especially when you're into older guys, you have no choice but the internet. Which, you know, can be shady and weird. I feel your pain, Dream. Keep at it. You'll find someone. At least NY is somewhere easy and populated. You could live in Montana.

True. I didn't even really bring that into consideration. The best way I guess is to just go into it expecting nothing but a one night stand with some weirdo and then if they're sane and nice it's like a friendly bonus rather than a freakish disappointment.

It just seems so much easier at a club to pick out someone you're actually attracted to. Guess they both have their benefits. Maybe it has something to do with how attractive I am (humility aside), but like I just hung out outside a gay bar and got look after look after look. I guess it was so obvious to me because I still haven't been in a gay club but damn I've never been checked out by so many guys at once. I didn't even really know what to do.

Likewise with my Daddyboss. No weirdness we talked buisness today we had a few things we needed to sort through regarding his old office and equipment left there that i needed to reclaim for the company. All was good. when was all done he closed the door and pulled me in for a hug and ass cheek pinch. to which i replied "holy human resources, you are so hot"

*My, as the world turns tale for today.*

While walking down the hallway, the handsome and dreamy Senior Recruiter appeared, and walked in the same direction I did, side by side. As he started to chit chat, I noticed that he kept looking down at my crotch area. I knew the reason, I have reasonly gone shopping and bought a new pair of dress pants and a new belt.

"Why are you staring at my crotch?" I asked knowingly.

"Oh uhh.." said the handsome and dreamy Senior Recruiter, as he paused for a bit. "I was just looking down, to make sure I no longer had a wet spot on my chest."

I had to laugh at this, knowing that this comment refered to the fact that I had shot my load on his chest only 2 nights before. He then headed for the restroom, where I yelled out, "make sure you check your chest!" "I will" he responded. "Use warm water" I replied, as he smiled and kept walking.

*Later that day*

After receiving a call from the handsome and dreamy Senior Recruiter, I was eager to help him out with his IT problem. After resolving what turned out to be a rather simple task, he looked into my eyes, melting me away.

I then proceeded to ask "How's your chest?" To which he responded, "It feels fine."

"It's not itchy or anything is it?" I said with a half smile. "No...atleast not yet, I have a feeling it will start itching though." He replied with another smile. "You better watch out, you might get red rash all over chest area if you're not careful." I said as he laughed, and I walked away. Although there was others around, they probably had no idea what we had talked about.

*End As the world turns*

Ahhhh....good times.

You know, thinking about it, your kinsey representation reminds me of me in the past... exactly, though. Have you messed around with guys before or no? Before I did I felt like I was closer to bi, romantically/otherwise relatively attracted to certain women, sexually towards men. Once I finally found someone who could fit my attraction niche for the romantic side though, I kinda realized I was wrong and I was way closer on the 6 side of the spectrum. I don't mean to come across like accusing you of being gay in denial or anything, just... noticed how much it reminds me of... me. It's cute actually. Like, I once sent an endearing innocent still-in-the-closet but hey what's up e-mail to GTC and then not too long after I had gotten one from someone else on another forum. I kinda like answered questions he had and pointed out that it's not quite as uncommon as one might think to like older guys and all these other things. He ended up finding somebody he's happy with now, last I talked to him. (Aww I'm like Oprah or something :lovin:) Anyway I'm high & rambling off topic so *post*.

Since you're on the topic of reading, this won't make much of an awkward segueway.

I was sort of wondering how much you guys read in general. I know that I've been getting steadily worse about reading anything since I got access to the Internet in high school and I'm sure it's that way for a lot of people. That said, I've don't recall there ever being much talk about reading in general in here (or in most threads), so that got me wondering.

The other thing that got me wondering that the latest readings I've finished that weren't for school--though the readings have actually been interesting for once, probably because I've never read much sci-fi--were about a gay character from an interesting first-person point of view. They were a couple of books by Brent Hartinger called Geography Club and then Order of the Poison Oak; he has a third one which is technically two books-in-one that I've yet to start since I'm being lazy enough about school work as it is.

As stereotypical as it is to ask, do most of the books you read, if you read any, have a main gay character? Or do you mostly just try and reading interesting things in type of genre?

This question can include magazines as well since they have genres--no, not Genre or its ilk--as well.

Oh, speaking of which, there was this interesting article I read in Mother Jones from last month's issue...which is still sort out.

It's linked online, so finding it was easy. (http://www.motherjones.com/news/feature/2007/09/gay-by-choice.html)

It may offend you, but I'm just saying that as a general warning and not thinking of anyone particular in the thread.

What the heck is a Sylar?

Anywho, I used to read avidly...then I stopped. lol my grammar and spelling declined with it also....but lately I've been trying to get back into it. so I usually read everyday. I read my sci-fi and horror a lot. re-read all the Harry Potters again. want to read more orson scott card...reading anne rice currently. I've also read other random things. I want to read more Stephen Hawking. If it looks interesting and I like it, I read it.

DrumlinerJoe

Sylar the villan from Heroes. Not exactly like him but there's a resemblence.

I used to read a lot of Michael Critchton when I was a kid. His characters were a little dry but the plots and ideas were interesting as hell. Still, his characterizations are masterpieces when compared to David Brown. I don't understand what people saw in Da Vinci Code.

I started to read one gay novel. It was called "Faggots" and was about a formerly fat gay guy looking for love after becoming a muscle head. Interesting idea as he clung to a lot of old insecurities, but the characterizations were uneven, the tone was silly (one character was actually named "Randy Dildough) and it was all a big mess.

And thank god my mp3 player works. I NEED to have music around me at all times, period. I have a tiny stereo in my shower so I can listen to music while I shower and get ready.

same with drawing, I stopped seriously drawing about 4yrs ago when I was in 8th/9 grade...that was one of my biggest hobbies. I worked hard at it every day for as long as I can remember. But thanks to my family, namely my asshole dad, I couldn't do it anymore....I try now and again to start some drawing/painting/inking/something, but it just doesn't come to me anymore...I might need a new setting.

And don't worry about "not having the skills." Anyone can pick up anything and art (painting, writing, music, whatever) involves a lot more than just technical skill. What made me a horrible writer back then was that I was obsessed with technique. Just let it flow and good shit should come to you.

well no, that's just what I mean. I think I had some natural skills, but not a lot. so I worked hard on my technical skills. worked on all the details/perspective/anatomy/how clothes work/lighting/etc.etc.

but since I've been gone from it, all my feeling is gone...I might just still have the technical skill (thought def. not as much) but no more creativity (there wansn't much to begin with)

I can draw a portrait of someone really well. but don't ask me to think of something to draw anymore. so if I still go into a field relating to art, it might just be with something that requires no originality, just skill....but we'll see if I get that spark back anytime soon. Actually his name was Wayne and that's my bf's name, I thought it was kinda weird when it became apparent to the reader he was gay. Sad, sad book, actually. Made me cry. Good though. It's called The Book of Joe (lol).

Dude i've got so many digital cameras.. if you guys want my old ones you can have them. just send me addresses.

not bragging .. just have a lot (4 not used)

Bloodia - Yes it counts.

Beats - Yup I gave up games and recreational reading when I went to college. Every second of my day was devoted to music and drumline and all that crap. I had been playing fighters since I was about 12 and I didn't really pick up another one until MVC2 came out when I was 21.

Mech - I feel you on the whole broken camera blues. Mine's been in the shop for about two months now. I think I'm just gonna save up for a new one since they can't seem to get it fixed.

same.. if you want my old one you just gotta buy a memory card for it.

I have a tiny stereo in my shower so I can listen to music while I shower and get ready.

what's weird is I need to have music going while i read or i cant concentrate. I read better when there's alot going on around me and i have music going.

same with drawing, I stopped seriously drawing about 4yrs ago when I was in 8th/9 grade...that was one of my biggest hobbies. I worked hard at it every day for as long as I can remember. I may not have had all the skills, but I worked very hard. But thanks to my family, namely my asshole dad, I couldn't do it anymore....I try now and again to start some drawing/painting/inking/something, but it just doesn't come to me anymore...I might need a new setting.

Vgames is just hard for finding time. but when I do, it's exactly anything hard, just fun.

same with music, I'll go on for months, even a year listening to the same music in my library without getting anything new. But I like pretty much everything and it's daunting to figure out where I wanna start with getting new music. @_@

and I'm so pissed about my mp3/psp situation, I need my music too!

I'd like to see your work one day. (homo.. and no homo)

I'd like to see your work one day. (homo.. and no homo)my last drawings I've ever done are on my myspace in my pics. those were about 4 years ago in 8th grade and freshman year of HS.

I've had more...I also has some...err..naughty drawings haha. but they had to be obliterated one day...yeah. lol I was practicing my anatomy.

which is something.. i keep asking people why do you want my shit. My art sucks. I know it. Anyone who draws can tell you that .. oh well.

not even, dude. i can draw, but that's not all of it. It's about a piece from a friend (i.e. you) that i want to display on something for all the world to see. it's more than the drawing itself, it's the meaning. :)

I know you see t his as your reasons to go to pride, you see the need to party with like minded fellows. But I feel it necessary to say that these are not the reasons for black pride. I won't attack you I'm just going to assume you are a young'n cause that is often where i hear sentiment like this.

Black pride doesn't exist because they dont' like white pride. bear pride doesn't exist because regular pride is distasteful to bears. I'll accept that these are your reasons for not liking atlanta pride or wherever you go.

Pride is not about being proud that you are gay / over being straight.
Pride is about not being ASHAMED that you are gay.
Bear pride is about not being ASHAMED that you are a bear.
Black pride is about not being ASHAMED that you are a black gay person.
New York pride is about not being ASHAMED that you are a gay person in new york.

Why is there pride celebrations? Do we need it? Yep it serves a purpose. The greater american community at least, would have you belive gay is gross and disgusting. The gay community in general would have you belive that being a bear is gross and disgusting. The american public ingeneral has it's own bias against minorities.. and to a further extent add gay minorities. This is the purpose they serve. We celebrate while others hate.

You get it? I understand the parties are great the people are hot and closer to your "type" at a certain pride but it's important that you not start in on the line of thinking that isolates your self from the rest of your gay brethren. Especially if you are going to participate in pride.

also..

If you think there won't be a large number of
Bears, Twinks, Techno, Leather, Glowsticks and Fems at black pride. You are in for a very rude awakening.

that would actually irk me. I have nothing against gay people, but negros are notoriously homophobic and it sounds like a recipe for disaster. Why not set up your own event? Piggy backing off an established event is just shady. No matter how you look at it, it takes away from the focus of the initial event and is selfish.

You can't change anybody's mentality...whatever reason one chooses to go to pride, hey, atleast they're going. We all know there are small minded, still somewhat in the closet, or pretty naive gay people, not just that post here, but in the real world in general. We cannot expect everyone to think like us, or say someone else's thoughts are right/wrong (unless they are hurting someone). Gay means Happy, so lets all try to have a gay ol' time while we here and get along! :lovin::lovin::lovin:

I've gone to many a gay-pride events including Black Gay Pride events. In fact I went to Black Gay Pride in DC a few years ago where the primarily requested music was techo and house. I was like WTF.

Bears, Twinks, and ... uh ... "normal?" people were all in abundance.

Leather ran rampant as did drag queens and all other "scenes" typical of the gay community.

Glowsticks were handed out at the door for free! So most people had like three of them at least.

And there was the same ratio of feminine men at a black pride event as there were at any... uh ... "white?" ... pride event.

Fisting... WHAT THE FUCK? No, there was none of this. But then there has never been any of this at any event I've gone to black or otherwise. At least not just out in public where everybody can see and participate. WTF!
