So I met an innocent girl...that I think has huge freak potential, hear me out...

Last Friday I was at this party. I ended up taking a girl home with me. Cute, good body, tall, the only thing going against her physically is her big jew schnozz. I'm a few years older than her(I'm 23, she's 19) so I was a little apprehensive at first but she was dropping big hints that she was into me so I figured I should go for it.

Anyway, we start making out, her shirt comes off pretty easy. She's good at making out and gives off a really sexual vibe the whole time. Things are looking good. Her hand starts moving down south and immediately something doesn't feel right. This girl is TERRIBLE with the dick. I say to her "I'm guessing you're not too familiar with this huh." She confirmed this, basically she had never gone beyond making out. So I tell her "hey if there's anything you want to know how to do, I could tell ya." She was like "okay let's practice."

So I whip it out and it's laying there on my stomach like a big throbbing, red sausage. Something got into my dick tonight because for once it looked downright threatening. Maybe you should hold off on those comments until you're out of your first relationship ever. You really have no idea whether or not that experience matters because you don't have it. I've never known anyone who didn't feel like they had a changed perspective after being in a couple relationships than when they hadn't been in any at all.

What's to say that he's going to be out of this one? He's at a year plus and things are going smoothly. And part of what you're saying is missing his point. He's not really saying that experience doesn't matter. He's saying that you don't need a certain amount of EXP to be competent in a romantic relationship, assuming you are a keen observer and apply what you SHOULD have learned from your other non-romantic relationships.

The people you know that have major changes in perspective post-relationship...I'd wager that has more to do with the original perspective than the experience. Lord knows I've seen many people repeat the same "experience" and do the same dumb shit over and over, so I really don't think experience is the X-factor here. It's not exactly the same as having been through it, but if I watch friends a and b break up over petty arguments, or date girls for their looks and then months down the road find dealbeaking character flaws....well, I observe that and adjust my plan to avoid those sorts of circumstances. It's basically understanding basic psychology, cause-effect relationships, and perhaps most importantly (and rarely), self.

My original point is that it's stupid to give somebody more points for more breakups. I still maintain that.

I never said he would be out of the relationship. All I was saying is that its naive to disregard the importance of experience you don't have. No matter how confident you are, you still can't say for sure how that might change your perspective.

In fact, I'd say everyone needs to have several learning relationships that end in a break up. I've got a buddy who thinks along the lines of you guys, and now he's married at 21. Obviously you guys have a leg up on him, but that's the kind of shit that happens when you disregard the importance of the post relationship perspective.

I do agree with your original position though, unfortunately women don't always seem to act in the most rational way. Just think of it as a good filter, and the one that gives you a chance will actually be a rational one. Hopefully she's hot too.

to me anything can cause a breakup. Moving, both have a mutual feeling of discontent, Playing, Stars arent aligned whatever the excuse to no longer stop seeing each other. Really there shouldnt be any sort of props or hate for such reasons. No matter the amount of experiences.

Well, my friend is the kind of guy who tends to think he has things figured out, and met his first girlfriend when he was 20. I imagine things got off to a good start, since within a few months he proposed to her. Instead of questioning his own judgment, he latched onto the first girl that gave him a shot. I don't want to get into details, but if I did, I'm sure you'd agree it was a bad move.

That's why I say it's good to have a few learning relationships that end in a break up. The kind of people who latch onto the first chick that will spread their legs to them are just as sure that they don't need the perspective of a few relationships that you or Havoc are. Personally I think its a greater tragedy to marry someone that's not that great for you than to lose the love of your life (if such a thing exists), but that's a matter of opinion.

But even before u do that u need to know wat exactly you want out of ur relationship wif a girl...Before deciding between the blond and the brunette.. the black chick or the asian chick you need to ask urself wat do i want wif this girlll... do i want a one night stand?? Well from my personal experience, the average set of women ive had the pleasure of knowing feign sophistication alot.

Im talking about a girl who wears the nice shit at clubs with her chin up in the air, looking really good. Tells herself that she can be polite by "Brushing" off folks in a nice way. All of a sudden they are a girl of a different class. Shes got her notch gucci bag, her chanel belt and shes ready for the camera.

The kind of girls that put their arm around you when another male approaches them so they wont have to explain them selfs to yet another guy. The girl who pretends to be balling when shes really a starbucks barista. Walking around like shes the god damn queen of england waving at all the boys. Yet they open their mouths and they sound like 12th graders with absolutely no intellectual contribution.

But in your situation warp. Its not really her trying to let you down in a sophisticated way. Its more of her just letting you down in a flaky kind of way. Its almost like her sending you an email saying she cant see you anymore. Not classy at all. You dont want a girl like that though. Shallow like a 3 foot pool, with no diving opportunity or depth to explore. The middle finger is all this type needs because your an individual who knows what he wants.

What are peoples' thoughts on a situation where the dame/chap you're chatting up currently has parents or other family members that don't speak your language? I've spoken with a few people, most of them say they can't feel as if they're "part of the family" because they can't get to know everyone and speak to them normally. Just something I'd thought about recently because I know a girl from Laos. I don't see it as a problem for me, but I'm curious as to how others would think of it.

This is the #1 reason why girl gamers never get good enough to challenge the guys. Even some top tier players cut them slack and they don't get conditioned to the ruthlessness of high level play.

I find a playful and respectful attitude works great when chatting up a girl. Be confident and don't be afraid of being turned away but don't think/act like it's obvious she's going to go along with it. Letting a girl know what you like about her seems to work great, just don't drool over her or be stupid about flattery ("You have a great ass" works maybe one out of hundred times.)

Only extremely superficial girls prefer what you are over who you are, so saying "I'm a celebrity" or "I make a lot of money" will most likely get you laughed off. Not to mention chances are that those superficial girls are interested in bigger fish than you. So don't use what you are/do/own as an ace to lure a girl, she's often more interested in what sort of a person you are. Showing interest and making a girl feel desirable gets you far and forgives a lot.

This is from my experience, and might not apply to girls outside Finnish clubs.

I dislike the fact girls use shit like that for attention. To me its almost like those girls who say they are bi-sexual when they really aren't. I find it rare enough to see girls come to US gaming events because of the hounds, let alone what rational person is going to say such things as "Im bi or Les" at a gaming event. Someone who thought like that in general already would know just being a female at such event is already plenty attention. wanted or not.

Now my girl loves video games and knows about the mainstream stuff (Halo, DAT madden) but she'll admit that she sucks HORD!!

As far as girls wanting ya for status/money, stay away from them. Yes, there's nothing wrong with wanting someone who's succesful. But if thats ALL they look for then thats a problem. I was talking to this one girl before my g/f and she chose ths one guy over me because "he makes alot of money and I never have to pay for anything" (He's an RN) . And he did. Poor sap will take her places like Key west and South beach, buy clothes, and take her to fancy restaurants and she wont have to pay a dime. Yet he lived in an apartment and recently moved into the girls house (who her ex bf bought for her) I couldn't understand why homeboy was just in a apartment when he made so much cream!

Turns out that Mr. money bags has a cocaine issue, hence why he didnt have money to buy a house for himself. Just recently this girl found out he was cheating on her. you think this girl would kick him out? NO! why you ask? Because he's paying all the bills. Her plan is she wants to finish med school herself in 4 months and leave him when she has a job in the med field and doesnt need him anymore. Thing is Homeboy has some *ahem* Ike Turner tendencies if you will. So this girl has been using this guy for money for pretty much since may of this year. She's going to get the PERMAstairs FRC'ed into a kick to the stomach, but the way she's playing the fool I really dont feel sorry for her.

What about guys that lower their standards for chicks that play video games? When I used to frequent the arcade, I witnessed a whole lot of that (a lot of the guys were/are friends of mine). I'm not talking about appearance-wise, but does the fact that a chick plays games mean SO much to you that you'd date a girl that DOESN'T BATHE just because she likes anime and playing Tekken/Marvel/whatever?

To go into a little more detail about it, one friend of mine specifically was with this one girl for years. She was employed, attractive, intelligent, well-groomed (which everybody should be...no excuse), but wasn't a gamer.

They broke up. My friend's following love interest smokes (something he told me himself he hates), STINKS all the time, dangerously overweight, and has racist parents that hate my friend's guts (she's white he's black). The only redeeming factor I see in that relationship (and the one thing he brags on) is that she's a gamer.

Just wanted to know what yall thought about someone that could hold the "gamer chick" thing in such a high regard.

What your missing is girls in general want to be noticed. Doesn't matter what the occasion is. From what I've noticed unless its a girl gaming event or competition most girls there are just there cause they actually like games and competing. Its rare to find so valley girl at say ESWC trying to look cute when she could go to the mall for free and do it. But yeah idk why people always think I'am mad....

Funny thing is I've had the game for over a year now but never got into it. Trying to get back into Tekken. Kinda hyped about T6. I'am gonna start playing SF Alpha 3 Anniversary. Karin infinite all the way. Used to REALLY be into MUGEN but not as much anymore. After so many projects get shut down its like wtf. I was waiting on that Gotham Nights forever...... =(

Shooting games. Halo of course, CS.... of course. GoW,. Besides that Heavenly Sword and of course DAT MADDEN!

I've been...weird. I just got a message from a 20 year old chick on okcupid telling me how interesting I sounded (go figure on that). There's this girl, some older lady telling me I was "yummy." Another female friend watched the video of me performing that I found on youtube the other day and said "and this isn't getting you laid?", reiterating her lack of understanding at my lack of poonification. Oh, and the girl from the party last night that was all over me for a bout 10 minutes. That shouldn't count, because she was all over everybody for 5 minute periods at a time and drunk as all hell. SHe was cute and had nice legs, though. I managed to glean that despite the screaming horribly butchered lyrics to Stand By Me in my face.

I really can't imagine a reason for specifically wanting a girl that doesn't like video games.

If I'm wrong speak up, but I imagine the guys who wouldn't want a girl who games base that on their experience of girls that game. I can relate because I would never want to date a girl that likes anime. This is because every girl I've met that likes anime is batshit insane. I'm sure its possible for there to be a normal girl who likes anime, but I haven't met one.

Either that or the fact that in order for her to game, she has to be around a bunch of other dudes that are not you.

I think the biggest advantage of a girl that plays video games is the fact that she has a hobby, and thus understands when you want to partake in your hobbies. A lot of girls hobbies include shopping, gossiping, and not much else, so when you want to get together with your buddies for 3s, she's going to take it personal. A girl that games probably wants time away from you to game, so shes more likely to understand why you want time away from her to game...at least, theoretically.

That pretty much means you're shy. You can be well spoken and social and still shy. It just means you need to establish a comfort zone. I'm the same way.

If you want to work on approaching women and starting conversations, look for a context. If you're at a party, and she's getting food or whatever, walk up and get in line, and ask her what looks good, or what something is, or whatever. If she happens to be sitting/standing nearby, ask her what she thinks about the party or whatever. Generic, but it's a jumpoff point. Once you get a little back and forth going about it, introduce yourself. If you don't know her and you're at a party, ask her who she knows at the party or whatever. Figure out connections. There are plenty of things to talk about right up front if you know how to get it started, and once conversation gets established and you're talking about things and not just talking to be talking.

That, and you have to get over the fear of rejection. Her not being interested is no different from sitting across the room wondering if she would be, except you no longer have to waste time wondering. The pimpest dude you know gets rejected a fair percentage of the time, so stop feeling like you have to hit a home run every time at-bat.

Ok this may sound like the worst thing to do, but just like talk to any random girls, fat ugly or whatever, just talk to them, small talk, try some openers, use them as practice mode, practice combos, follow ups, etc sorta thing.

Start out with a random conversation starter. Current events usually work, also current scenario moments such as details in your current surrounding and relating a conversation to them work as well...find your style and you will be ok.

I'm gonna start from Saturday here, and yes, this is a copy/paste joint.

Saturday, Juggernaut Glitch performed at a house party. First, the hilarity; it was a party in celebration of Martin Luther King's birthday. Pretty cool, right? Yeah, and the hostess decided to call it...40 Ounces to Freedom.

I cannot make this shit up.

The thought process was that he's been gone for 40 years, so we pour out a little for every year he's been gone. Okay, that's almost not retarded. But...man.

The actual party, though, was pretty cool, even with the fact that 50% of the black population there (me,Chemist, and 607) were performing. There were at, at most, six out of 50-70 people there for the night. But it ain't no thang. The party was cool, people were friendly. I'd met a girl named Kara who is...well, the danciingest, hyperest person on the face of the earth. She's the one who screamed butchered lyrics to Stand By Me while dancing with/cuddling me on the dance floor at the party the weekend before last. Well, I danced with her a little bit at the party.

We did our set, and this thick, really pretty girl with reddish blonde hair tells me how awesome we were. I thank her, and stuff, and we kind of dance around there as 607 performs. We talked a little bit while I was there, though I actually talked with her friend, Brooke, more than I talked to her. It was nice to get that kind of love, though.

At one point, this awkward, slow song comes on. I look over and see this girl that was over doing this bellydancy sort of move. I said to her "that's an awfully fancy dance for a song like this." "What're you gonna do?" She responded. Then the beat kicked in, and more conventional dancing commenced.

About three or four songs later, we'd been dancing together, and she had complimented me on my dancing. I got a hug. It was nice. I found out later she had been telling people about what good moves I had and how i got her hot on the dance floor. I'm not sure how that was intended, but it sure sounded interesting. We talked in another room for a while. She played with my hat. And then later, as she and the band were packing up (She had played washboard for the band earlier--yes, washboard), I saw her bass.
