really bad storm in the northeast

i goto open my door, hear something snap

door handle is loose, guess it broke off

goto passenger door, same thing

how do i get into my car now??

i was thinking about breaking the window but its snowing out really bad, i guess i have to wait

fuck i just bought this cadillac and i didn't even have time to put D's on it and now this happens

Man trash bag that door unless you don't really got to go anywhere! Cadillac windows are easier to push down compared to other cars, if you are able you could try that!

my onstar just unlocks the door

its unlocked

but i pull the handle up and its really loose and nothing happens

i'm guessing it broke off from the mechanism inside the door

guesss tomorrow i'm putting my foot through the window :(

I assume a snowstorm, meaning its fucking freezing outside? If so, your locks are frozen and your rubber seals around the door itself have frozen to the car as well. One time I washed my car in freezing temperatures and the next day when i tried to my car door no luck. Water got into my locking mechanism and around the door seals too.

Maybe use a blow dryer? You can prevent it by using WD-40 in the lock and lubricating your rubber seals. Other than that you may have to wait until it gets warmer.

actually the problem is i have a convertible type car, so i only have two doors both of which broke

so what i did was go in through the trunk
