controller setting issue

OK bought the game.Went to options and set my controller set up.Played a little and all was fine.On next start up went to play and my controls were all screwed up.My guy only moves if i use the anolog controller,wont move with d pad.All my buttons do nothing except right analog control which each direction performs a special move.I keep going to options and checking my controller settings and it is set the way I want but when I play it goes back to the screwed up control setting.Is there some known issue with the settings or something?In options it says all my settings are the way I want them and when I play it goes back to the uncontrollable messed up settings.

Hey Manix, when you arrive to the character select screen you should be given 2 options at some point offering EO and AC. You want to be selecting AC. Simple mistake to make if you arent familiar with the Xbox version.
