i've read the really old threads about this and ShinAce said to cut the power lines, wire them to an SPDT switch, and then wire them pack to the pads so that only one console will power both sticks at any given time.
ok, cool. did that. but the stick is acting really weird. when i press L2 or R2, the stick disconnects itself for no reason at all. half a second after i release the button, the stick reconnects. O_O this also disappeared when i unwired the L2/R2 buttons from the USB pad.
also, even when the switch is flipped to the other side while it's connected to the PS2, the analog light doesn't go off, but the controls don't respond. (it's not connected to the PC.) is this normal?
