So I just found this out and saw the movie for myself. Its basically better than any of the fighting games that went live action. Still kinda cheesy at points, and didnt focus on anymore of the characters but still a movie to at least watch.

And that chick from 2 Fast 2 Furious is Kasumi...no boobs...no gain. And Liu Kang has been downgraded to being a petty pirate...boooooo.

Fights were alright and stuff like that. And since I havent been an avid DOA player I dont know if this storyline even resembles the game's. The volleyball scene was great and probably the best scene.

If anyone else saw it, lay out your thoughts.

Yeah, the original MK movie has easily been the best fighting game movie. Quite possibly the best video game movie.

But yeah, the story very...very loosely resembles the DOA story. Very loosely, though.

This came out? The last I heard of it was the shitty trailer. I never even seen 1 ad for it on TV. Guess I'll have to run down to blockbuster and rent it for a cheap laugh.

I thought the script for the first 25-40 minutes was pretty good. That's about all it had going for it, and a couple of cute girls.

It was shown in an early showing at some random movie theather.. But it was crappy and so illrecieved that they scrapped the movie debut release for it.
