I once heard someone say that Guilty Gear is like SF for anime nerds. He said that most of the guys he knew who were serious into GG, were the super-nerdy types that have the social skills of a goat on PMS, and spend their time doing stuff like playing magic all day long.

I think he is talking about Magic the Gathering, the popular trading card game. Which btw I like lol, what it's fun.

I don't have any hate to GG players or the game personally. I just think the characters are fucking whack.

Ok, I have a real WTF story that is kinda vg related...

I was in Seattle playing Marvel at the Arcade under the space needle. there was dude sitting in the random race car game watching me play. He proceeds to pull out a package of Rman noodles. He opens the package, gets the "brick" of noodle out, sprinkles the seasoning on the brick, and eats it. I had a very "WTF" look on my face after that.

well, gg = anime = gay pretty much became a established rule on srk while while mvc2 = marvel characters = cool for whatever reason.

hey, it's all good. all gg players embrace the joke anyway.

Ohhhhhhhh......... that magic, I've played that game before, never honestly liked it though. Also I love the GG characters, they have a lot of "uniqueness" to them.

A really big WTF moment in my life was the first time I say people play MvC2, I couldn't tell what the hell was honestly going on.

In my early days of playing street fighter, my skill was below average, but I was determined to play.

I was playing as Ken/Ryu against Chun Li. it's the 3rd round. I had little less than 1/2 a bar left, and was turtling my behind off with seconds left on the clock. Somehow this 'close-to-death' Chun Li managed to land a standing kick (can't remember the strength) into a deep lightning-legs kick, depleting my meter by the time the counter hit '00'. I thought I was dead (since Ken/Ryu let out the customary yell as he hit the ground), but Chun Li stood in her losing pose as the announcer says, "You Win."

With my back to the ground, I still win? Oh, well; I guess you have to take the W how ever you can get it, right?

A few WTF moments off the top of my head....

-Watching some random asian guy get mad and punch the screen (which resulted in the screen cracking) since he wasted nearly five bucks trying to beat CPU Mileena in MK II. After doing so, he left the arcade quick style.

-Some random black guy telling me that Makoto II's super is unblockable because you can't block it while crouching. He thought holding down meant he'd automatically block low.

-After I did launch, magic series, hyper grav xx tempest on somebody, this black dude goes "THIS NIGGA'S PUTTIN IN CODES AND SHIT!"

-Having two white guys get into a fist fight a few yards behind me while I was at an arcade like a month ago.

-Cody being escorted of out Silver Coin during a tourney because he got into a fight.

-During a tourney a longtime ago someone had locked a sound system in a glass case and had Clon-Funky Tonight playing on repeat for the duration of the tourney.

-This one weird kid started crying because I was laughing at the way he played DDR.

- Some dork at Cal State San Bernardino who would always tell everyone who played MvC2 the life stories of all the characters they picked. "Yannoooo, Venom is really Eddie Brock, a photographer who bonded with a symbiont!" He gets all butt hurt when you tell him to shut up, too.

- I was idling at the movie theater once and they had Champion Edition, and some kid was watching the demo. Nothing wrong with that (we all do that), but then when the Sagat demo comes on, he starts yelling out "VIPER...VIPER...VIPER UPPERCUT".

- Some kid was really good at Primal Rage, but nobody took him serious because he pronounced Chaos "Chaah-awws".

I think what digital meant was that he took the whole brick out instead of ,what people would normaly do, break it in tiny pieces. Cuz i do that too but I crunch them in tiny pieces first.Some noodles just taste better that way.
