From the scans, it does not look like what I expected a next gen katamari to look like. :-/

Online play is great but only if they have Live Cam and Eyetoy support. The fun of playing with other people is looking at them when they screw up pushing or when they see "God" come from a pond or when they roll over the Prince's obesse cousin.

Keita Takahashi the creator apparently isn't working on it though, from what I've read. I heard the only time he'd do another Katamari is when you can go from the beginning of the game to the end, no loading screens or anything, and comon, the graphics could be better. I know people might say "ART STYLE" or some other crap, but this is next generation folks, and they look EXACTLY the same

Yeah thank you. I was expecting 100% more detail. Part of the reason why the old game had the art style was because of system limitations.

As much as I love Katamari, I can see the franchise getting stale real fast if they don't introduce new elements/freshness into the games. I'd rather not see them die off...

I wonder if a Katamari game would seem normal if you played it while high.

Also, I can't wait for this game. Going to get it for 360. Wonder what they achievements will be like. And although the graphics aren't much better, the scale is vastly improved. You can get up to 1 third the size of Earth.

most of the time i play katamari I'm high....it's just as entertaining if not more, but that shit is still far away from normal.

you know I was actually sad when I beat Katamari Damcy because I had so much fun playing it I didn't want it to end. This one looks like it is going to be great. The only thing that would make it better is a "challenge" mode with randomly generated worlds.

I love the Katamari games. I just cant place it on WHY their are so fun. Oh, and my parents so me playing one of them, and they just simply left the room saying "Ok..."
