In your opinion, who cheats more: Men or women?

From your experiences, the experience of the people around you and the stories you've heard, do you think that men are more likely to cheat on their partner or is it the other way around ?

I personally think that men are generally more likely to cheat... even if they are happy with their current relationship they will still enjoy making love to another woman, just for the sake of novelty (especially if she's hotter than their current gf).

As for women, it seems to me that most of the time when they cheat it's because something important is lacking in their current relationship... If they are fulfilled and happy with their man, I think that most of them will be faithful (provided they are psychologically healthy and not some kind of nymphomaniac).

What is your take on that subject ?

I'm not a bad looking guy at all and I haven't cheated on a female since I was about 16 or 17 years old. Since i've gotten older and have began looking for the more serious relationship I have learned that the majority of the atleast decent looking (or better) combined with a decent personality (or better) females are liars, golddiggers, and/or cheating bitches (or atleast they are around here). I do think our reasons for cheating are different. For guys...we just like sex. For guys who don't cheat, its not that they don't want to have sex with an attractive girl who gives them the opportunity, its just that they don't want to risk losing their girlfriend/wife. For the guys that do cheat, either they figure they can get away with it...or they just don't care.

I think for girls its a bit more emotional. Like, her bf isn't fulfilling her needs in some way, but rather than address those issues with her boyfriend, she goes out and gets what she wants/needs from someone else.

On the flip side Younger women seem to have attachments(sp?)to who they are dating.In my Saturday school program,my friend broke up with this girl about a month ago,and usually flirts with other girl's,and she will not let it go,and harrases him alot about seeing other girls(Despite the fact that they don't go together anymore)

Older Men,especially the one's who have their life together,are pretty much content.If he's working,and making good pay,and he has a nice family then I think he would be alot less likely to cheat.
