Differences between the US version of FFVII and the Japanese version of FFVII...

what are they? has anyone here ever played and beaten the japanese version of ffVII?

sex scenes with cloud, tifa, yuffie, and elena.
no barret.

^ Yep. Emerald/Ruby were added as optional bosses to the US version.

I think we got more in our version. I know that we got some extra weapons to fight Emerald and Ruby. however we also got a pretty wonky translation andsome editing done to it.

I think there was a site that had all that stuff listed somewhere on the internets

There was also a Superplay video a while back of someone beating Emerald weapon in a minute or so. I guess that was the international version too [?]

nothing storywise is mistranslated

they actually translated it in japan to make sure its story is intact. (yes it actually requires you to use your noggin, being able to read is only the surface of understanding, not many people realise this tho :rofl: )

im pretty sure they were in the japanese version, only you didnt get the desert rose and the other thing after you had beaten them.
