View Full Version : Letting timer run out. Annoying

What's the deal with some people just sitting on the character select screen on their character and not choosing it. They just sit there and let the timer run out. Then they select their super and time it out again. That's damn annoying. Is that supposed to be some kind of insult or "I'm being a jerk to you to annoy the hell out of you" tactic or something? Then there are those who don't move the character selector until 2 seconds before the timer running out, and then they wait till about 2 seconds before super art timer runs out and choose their SA. Do these people literally just sit there and only act in the last second on purpose? What's the deal?

Now obviously, I can understand that sometimes you got some other activity going on that warrants your awayness, but this shit happens all too frequently.

Anyone who:

+Waits at challenge screen and doesnt accept challenge
+Runs timer out for character and or super art
+Holds win screen
+Waits more than 5 seconds to rematch (consistently)

IS A FAGGOT

We've already went over this, so expect to be redirected to that online etiquette thread.

But I definately agree and from what I've noticed most guys that do any of that stuff more than a few times during a set are usually trashy players anyway. OR they try and come off intimidating by making me stare at Akuma for 30 seconds: it comes off hella tacky though, and I don't think they realize that.

I do that when I gotta go to the bathroom, not to be a jerk...

Sorry but before I warm up Makoto, dude's gotta take a piss sometimes...surely you can understand. In my case it may be different though cuz I have a microphone so I'll jus say brb, but most of you damn people don't have/use your mic's anyway so you don't hear anything....your loss, no?

Q rank ftmfw! Seriously... I played someone like this yesterday. Now, I'm a scrub, and when I call someone else a scrub, they really asked for it. He let the timer run on both his Character AND his SA, and then he lost a Denjin Ryu/ Ken Match. Not ONLY was he playing ken, but he was playing SA 1 Ken. I had to wait 40+ seconds for that? FTL.
