HyperSFII questions

I recently started playing HyperSFII on Anniversary Collection (for the first time) as it became backwards compatible on the 360, and I have a few questions about the game.

1) Can CE Boxer turn around punch through projectiles? I could of sworn I remember him able to TAP projectiles in the original CE, but I haven't been able to in HSFII. I can do it just fine on Turbo(Hyper Fighting) Boxer.

2) Can ST Boxer TAP through projectiles? I had never played ST previously, and this is my first taste of it in HSFII. I haven't been able to TAP through anything with ST Boxer either.

3) Is the timing for executing moves way tighter in this game than other SF games? Let me explain why I'm asking. I recently just got an arcade stick, and it's my first ever, and I almost never played at the arcades. Well, now a few weeks in, I'm starting to get the hang of it, but one move in particular is bothering me, and that would be the Shoryuken in HyperSFII. I play a lot of SFII'HF for XBLA, and 3rd Strike on SFAC, and the Shoryuken now comes out really easy, as do all of the other specials. But for some reason, in HyperSFII, I have an EXTREMELY hard time getting a Shoryuken to come out, even when I take the time to try an execute it perfectly. Even before I had my stick, while I could get it to come out on the pad much easier, I still remember having problems with it in HSFII.

Yea the boxer can actually punch projectiles back at whoever is throwing them. You have to charge for 4 secs instead of 2.

hf rog can pass thru projectiles on a 1 or 2 TAP only. i dont think ce rog can. IIRC, i dont think ive ever used rog in CE even back in the arcade days. but yeah as far as i know, HF rog is the only one. timing is strict too

Only turbo rog can go through.
ST and super rog have to use the headbutt to go through.
CE can't do shit and should be avoided at all costs.

i know ST rog to a 100% since he's my main, i said i didnt know OLDER rogs that good, i know who can/cant go through projectiles (turbo rog only) the question was if he can go through bigger fb's like hadokens, i wasnt sure about that, but i knew he could go through sonic booms.. try reading first.

Yes, turbo boxer can. And also attacks like psycho crusher, honda's headbutt, blanka's horizontal ball, etc. He can also go through a lot of normal attacks with the TAP if it's timed right.

Did they change some of the other games' characters as well? Because I really do remember being able to turn around punch through projectiles with Boxer in Champion Edition.
