Besides Murakami's works, I like Hatsu Inu, Its a Family Affair (Ane to Boin), Slave Nurses, Body Transfer, and Viper GTS. Sora no Iro Mizu no Iro and this one called In Warau Kangofu are good ones too.

I have yet to see La Blue Girl, even though that seems to be one of the big ones.

I generally prefer doujins and hmangas these days though. Hgame CGs can be boring sometimes too, though I'm sure I'd like them a bit more if I could actually play the game.

There's 5-6 new releases at the end of every month in Japan... way more than 2-3. If anything, 2-3 is the number of releases per company... but there's a handful of companies, so the releases all add up.

The release number is way down from years ago, because a LOT of companies died out, like Green Bunny.

North America not having many titles on the market isn't really true. There was a big boom in the beginning of the 2000s and there was a lot of demand for adult animation. Basically, hentai got licensed and released in America 3-4 months or so after it was released in Japan... for awhile. You can go to AniDB and type in any random hentai's name (released late 90's up to 2005 or so), and 8 out of 10 you will see that it has been released in America. True story.

The only issue now is that, releases in Japan slowed up, and so did the demand in N.A. But still, there's countless titles on the market.

from what i saw, the problem with h-anime is that they sell you 30 minute episodes but it would cost a lot and that fan/viewer whatever had to keep buying the series to see what happens next. So here's my rough top 10. It's not solidified, cause to me its like picking your favorite songs ever... and if you've heard a lot of music in your lifetime, that could be tough if not impossible. In no particular order:

1) Bible Black

This is a no-brainer. This has done to hentai what GTA did to videogames, spawned a ton of copycats that are not nearly as good. It isn't just Bible Black, but also BB Origins (the prequel) and Shin BB/BB New Testament (the sequel). Then of course there's BB Only, the side stories. All in all, the animation is probably some of the best you'll ever see. The females are drawn awesome in this, with slender, athletic, toned bodies with big juggs.

2) Rei-Lan: Orchid Emblem

I saw this back in 1997-1998 or so, back when video rental stores didn't know the difference between anime and hentai and grouped them all together. This one was ahead of its time clearly. It actually tried to tell a decent story, and the sex was a big part of it (not just some random person getting laid with 5-6 different strangers). The company that made it is now dead, but this is one of the titles that started to make them who they became.

3) Words Worth

The game was very popular, and thus this is one of the titles that ushered in the new era of hentai where companies would grab up licenses from released PC games and make an animated version of them. Before then, they actually came up with their own stories (like Orchid Emblem). Coincidentally, the same now dead company made both this and Orchid Emblem, so you know the quality was good. This is one of the most drawn out series ever because of its popularity, and like Bible Black, totally changed adult animation. First off, its three different (but similar) series. 2nd, each spawned off their own sequels/prequels: Isaku, Isaku Respect, Kisaku, Kisaku Spirit, Kisaku Letch, Shusaku, Shusaku Replay and Shusaku Liberty... that's 8 in total. And note, ALL of them had a minimum of 2 eps and a max of 6 eps, EACH. So why the fuss? Because its a guy blackmailing bitches and conning them into sex. No surprise it was so popular.

Front Innocent

This is one of the pinnacles in hentai animation. It took a long time to come out, and there was never a follow-up to the first ep. There's like, no plot at all... but the animation at the time made it impossible for any other hentai to compete.

Another pinnacle hentai, much like Front Innocent. Has the animation and the character design that draws people in. The story, not so much, because its been done to death. It was pretty forgotten for awhile until news of a 2nd ep surfaced.

Viper GTS

Another fantasy type, and another with amazing animation and art. The PC games were also wildly popular because the sex scenes were animated. If you can get past the tentacles and the angel chicks with dicks, its good stuff.

Panchira Teacher

This is near the very top of my list. Love the animation and plot. The story isn't all that great, but its funny: 3 kids basically run a school, doing whatever they want to others... humiliating them, fucking them, beating them up. So a new teacher comes around and becomes their new target. They essentially fuck up her career and make her their slave.

Itazura

Some of the best art/character design around, but not much to it plot-wise. One of those in the train sex genre, where rapes and groping happen on a public train. Though a lot of the women end up liking it and start taking the train just so it happens to them.

Lingeries

Small plot, nothing that great. Again, like every other on my list, animation and design stand out tremendously.

There's so much titles out there. The thing is, a lot are the same. Many don't take chances on character design, as such the chicks end up all looking the same except for different hair and eyes, cliche plots and animation that gets reused one too many times.

There's a few others that I didn't mention. Ringetsu is great, Kite is great, but the original release isn't hentai at all. Even with the full uncut release, its based more on action and plot, not character relationships and sex, thus barely qualifies as true hentai. Mezzo Forte is made by the same studio, and has similarities. There's newer stuff like Hatsu Inu and the different Boin series (particularly Resort Boin). It just depends on what you like. Everything on my list stands out visually. There's a lot of crap out with weak animation and uninteresting characters/designs... its easy to like something when you haven't seen much to compare it to.

Yeah, I hated that in Taiman Asagi. Actually, this is the only one I remember this happening in. But yeah, it was so annoying. Dark Love is my favorite even though I'm not into preggers.
