If Sega is letting Hori do a VF5 licensed stick there probably won't be any VSHG 360. At $60 this is probably nothing more than the same form factor as DOA4/FS3 with different motif and button mapping.

the doa4 stick is not bad at all. not the best stick, but damn, the stick is not even bad in any sense of the word. plus its fun to mod up with a real stick and buttons

This thing had better have 6 buttons on it. I dont wanna pay the $100 for the DOA 4 one. Is it just me or is $100 a ridiculous price for that thing? Aside from the rarity factor, I dont understand why they insist on ripping me off for something I can get on PS2 for almost half the price. I'll prob end up reserving this thing, but I will be so disappointed if there are only 5 buttons. Yes I get that its a VF5 joystick, but I still think its lame to potentially not include 6 buttons.

wtf, it doesnt even have vf art on it. that cant be. lol at the fact that the button arrangement and colors are EXACTLY the same as doa4 stick..

Cool. Probably didn't bother with any VF art to 1)keep costs down on the stick and 2)to market it as just a "fighter" stick for any 360 game and not just narrow it down to VF5 when it initially ships.

Well in japan that is proper stick to button lay out....so yeah it will work for street fighter..

a friend told me he tried to use his doa4 stick for sfac:3s and he couldnt map the buttons for standard play:confused: wtf, i heard this stick uses the lb and rb instead of the lt/rt for short/roundhouse. if this is the problem, cant you just rewire them? or is this even a problem at all and my friend is dillusional?

Your friend is delusional, I use the DOA stick to play SFAC all the time. The left and right trigger are mapped to the black and white buttons, respectively. So just configure it keeping that in mind.

VF 5 isn't coming out for the 360 until Halloween.

I don't really expect the stick to be released before then. Gamestop has already pushed back the release date twice, so try not to get your hopes up.

(Though it might be released two weeks before Halloween, since Hori's Fighting Stick 3 was released two weeks before the PS3 version of VF 5.)
