Umm...practice.
Be sure that that you go to neutral position, then parry.

Practice on stuff like the fifth hit of Urien's SA1 (pretty easy timing IMO), the third rush of triple uppercut-like supers, etc... and if you're doing it on a pad, good luck. I couldn't really red parry on purpose until I got my sanwa...

Press forward the EXACT moment that you would hear the hit sound effect.

Yeah im practising against the ken's shoryuken but to no avail. I am using the d pad though. Oh well i'm already awesome at the regular parrys. I guess i can live without the red parrys. I Havnt given up yet though!

Lost count of how many times I've seen this thread. I get the impression new posters think this sort of subject will lend them instant credibility, somehow. But I digress, the cynical bastard that I am.
Anyway, don't red parry unless it'll save you from impeding chip-death. The odds for success aren't favorable and against a good player, you'll rarely be given the chance to red parry something easy. If the opportunity does arise, you can usually punish just as well after blocking the last hit.

good example here, if chun was to keep blocking, she would have lost with block damage, as shes on a slice of health
[AND overmore, in that match, she followed the red parry by b.Fierce -> SA2 and won :) hurray]

I'd reccomend learning to red parry Yun's 1-2-3 xx shoulder. It's so fun when Yun's do it and you red parry it for a free combo.
Chun Li's super is easier to red parry if you can get the first red parry, IMO. I can't parry through super freezes for the life of me so SA2 will always always chip me to death, but I can kind of red parry it. You gotta block the first set of kicks, then set it in neutral as she changes to the other leg, then you parry but only when her foot is RIGHT in front of your face.

LOL. That was me accidentally posting on his account. He posts but very rarely and it's usually in the Melty Blood thread or some shit. He hasn't played online in forever. He'd rather spend all day in training mode.
Oh and Aruka is the red parry king.

Red parryin is easy :)
red parrying on live must be like sitting on a plunger or some shit like that. Just don't try it.

Sweet, I'm showing progress. Its actually a lot easier now if you can predict the moves fast enough. Its one motion kinda, just back forth fast but still takes timing.
