Neutral Throw, Aegis, Crossup Headbutt = Free Damage?

It annoys me how easily this can be used to claw back matches, when an otherwise poor Urien player is clutching at straws. It's extremely easy to land, especially off a dash throw and can be used to rack up loads of damage. The throw is difficult to tech. Tech rolling is much harder in a shoddy connection and if neither of those work, you're forced to try and parry out. I find this setup unbalanced in a less than ideal connection, because it allows people to score significant damage with minimal work.

When I've played competent players, in great connections, this strategy was so unlikely to land in the first place, that it was barely worth trying. Good players tech roll near perfectly!

There's only one scenario I can think of, where I still use this. That's after a juggle ending with a headbutt. I just knocked the other dude down and have a shed-load of frame advantage to work with. I hit the reflector as soon as Urien lands and cross-up while the other dude is still down - tech roll or not. I think that's a bit more legit.

What do other players make of this?

If you're getting hit by that setup consistently in a match/set then the problem lies in your end mate. Fucking kneedrops are the garbage online, I remember this kid Tyrant Slaughter's game revolving solely around blocked kneedrops/unparried kneedrops into other garbage once he lands. NOW THAT MAKES ME SICK!!!

oh that unblockable is effective if your opponent doesnt roll out of the way but all my fight with SF and PROS got me a big amount of urien experience

Yeah that set up (if I can call it that) is trash. The only smart way to do unblockable after a throw is by doing mp aegis and partitioning the headbutt so they'll still hit the aegis if they roll.... which they always do.

I came up with a fun setup a while ago but stopped playing Urien shortly after. It burns meter but it's flashy as hell. You just land the launcher then go for an ex headbut into an ex fireball and super cancel that into lp aegis and then buffer the lk tackle during the aegis. Let the lk tackle rip and smash them into everything. So you juggle them the entire time you never let them hit the ground. It's an entire 2 gauges but it's fun as hell. :lovin: It's possible for all of the aegis, the tackle, and the fireball to connect. Sometimes there will still be two hits left on the aegis which you can then go for a tick throw with in the corner.

Neutral Throw, Aegis, Crossup Headbutt = Free Damage?

What do other players make of this?KD -> Aegis cross-up is middle school. L2Parry it IMO 1-2 throw. Or just stay in it like I do for shits and giggles -_-;

I started to play Urien 'cause I wanted to use the mirror to move people into corners, but found that there're many other characters that can close space without an actual wall being thrown at the opponent >.< Sigh, I think this might be the end of my multi-colored Urien on XBL. /violin
