Ugly guys are 50/50...some people will find them normal/not ugly, and others will call them hideous...but everyone knows when a woman is ugly, due to the vast parade of facial perfection paraded about tv hourly. I saw a sight that made me shudder a few minutes ago, and brought to mind the phrase "catfish with a fucked-up grill". I was watching Jeopardy, and saw a contestant named Renee...who looked like a chunky Sandra Bernhard. Can you guys recall any women on tv that even come close to this level of facial...misfortune?

Since men are already considered better than women, their looks are more likely to be forgiven. Women on the other hand should be presentable on TV. If I wanted to see ugly people I would just walk around outside.

A good model to follow is that of the spanish station Univision. For the most part, no ugly bitches in sight. That is the way it should always be.

Not necessarily! The best example i can think of is Kirsten Dunst in the spider-man movies. I've heard some guys say she is NOT pretty at all and should NOT have even gotten the role.

There was this lady on a cooking show either on PBS or another channel. She had a hunch back and curly blond hair with an english accent. I would laugh my ass off when ever I watched her commentate the guests that would cook and stick her grubby fingers in the bowls.

That's Julia Childs. If you get a chance, watch how she hovers mere INCHES away from the male chefs she's working with, and how she's always standing about 4-6 feet away from the female chefs. I've noticed that over the years, and damn it's so obvious its funny. She died a while ago, rest her Meg Mucklebones-looking soul.

That really depends on the light you put her in. There are times where she's brutal and other times she looks fantastic. I guess it really comes down to lighting, make up, and whether she opens her mouth or not.

first let me talk about the kirsten dunst issue, as it seems to bother some people. i am in the "ugly" camp with kirsten. to be honest, she is not "ugly" but she isn't remotely hot either. if she wasn't an actress, at least half the people who think she's hot would think she's just some average girl walking down the street. when you compare her to her contemporaries like scarlett johansen, she just does not hold up. she doesn't fit into a reasonable description of beautiful. my standards aren't high persay, but i can't pretend she turns me on in any way when she doesn't. also, she never deserved the role of mj, mj is supposed to be curvy, which requires nice hips and a butt, something kd does not have.

ot - i think most the known "ugly" women have been mentioned. more than a beat face, i hate the weight issues with tv. you still rarely see w woman with a bit more meat on her treated as a sex symbol. i guess my own infatuation with thicker girls (not fat or chunky) has driven my annoyance with the lack of attractive women who can't slip under a closed door.

1st pic is WAYY better. I think it's that HEAVY ass makeup around her lips and eyes that make her look weird. i phrased that poorly. i was saying that the 8, 9, and 10s of this world only go for doods making 6 figures or more. the 1-7s, they can't be as picky...

but yeah, it's REALLY obvious when i see an ugly female on tv, probably because for the most part, there are above average looking females on tv usually, so when you see a 1-5, you REALLY can tell the difference.

with guys, mostly just 3-6s all day.

I hate this show and everything it stands for. Nevermind that it's about the sex lives of unattractive women, and nevermind that it's basically a glorified infomercial for expensive designer clothing and shoes. The values the show puts forth and glorifies are atrocious. These women whore themselves out, practice unsafe sex with everyone, cheat on their boyfriends, and lead glamorous lives, where they get can wear expensive clothing and dine at the finest restaurants. I mean, shit. As if women don't have things easy enough in this world, here comes a show to tell impressionable young girls that it's okay—no, even fantastic—to live in such a way.

And then the show doesn't even have the balls to stick to its guns in even that regard. They bill it as a champion of female independence, but what happens in the end? They all get boyfriends/married. So much for fucking independence. Six years of build-up leads to them indirectly declaring to their entire audience that women actually need men to be happy (not that I have a problem with that ideology). And Carrie ends up with the biggest, douche-est example of a guy in the whole damn show.

And then there's Sarah Jessica Parker. She's ugly as fuck, and she has a high-pitched, whiny voice, which she puts to good use on the show because she's always whining about something. Oh, and in the later seasons, she didn't get along with one of the other lead actresses because she felt the other woman was taking up too many scenes, so, as the show's producer, she actually cut the other woman out of a lot of scenes and added scenes for herself. Fucking bitch.
