I plan on seeing this movie this weekend. This is the first comedy I've legit been looking forward to for a LOOOOOONG time. It's got a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and all my local papers reviewed it very favourably.

The movie looks funny only because I find unwanted pregnancies funny. Growing up as a minority in NYC, I've grown desensitized to it and expect it to happen to at least one of my family members. Actually, it happened already. Three times. And I got a good laugh out of all three incidents.

I have to see this movie.

P.S. Are you gonna go see it with MY twenty dollars? =p

At first I thought this was going to be one of those lame-ass movies that not even a mega hottie such as Katherine Heigl could save.

I didn't give a shit that it was from the same dude who did 40-Year-Old Overrated Virgin. Seth Rogen is not a leading dude and there is only so much hotness can do (see Jessica Alba disasters).

But one of my friends is hyped to see it and I didn't know it was rated-R (no pussy unfunny humor). So that, coupled with the hype everyone else has going and I might be in the theater. But this is still no must-see movie.

story doesn't really make sense...like why she chose him and why she's willing ot have a baby. other than that, it's hilarious. Very unforgettable moments.

she chose him cuz she was drunk off her ass. lol apparnetly you have never been drunk. She chose to keep the baby just cause her mom didnt really give her a realy good reason not to keep it.

vagina paprt at the end shocked me...i reverted back to freshman health class. this movie was really good...the audience was laughing alot through this movie.

So...is Kathy at least giving us a bra/panty scene? of course...my preference is for the panties/bootyshots.... I would probably see this if that were the case....even though there have already been scenes of Kathy in her underwear.(Grey's Anatomy..)

I think he means why she chose to try and have a relationship with a man she obviously did not care for at first (after she found out she was pregnant). Other than that the movie was bullet proof. :sweat:

oh for the kid..cause she wanted the actual father involved instead of finding someone else and saying thats their father or doing it on her own. Having no father fucks a kid up for life..i know this all too well.

I understand she was drunk and that's why she had sex, i was refering to why she said she loved him. They didn't explain any of that. OK her career is on the rise and she gets knocked up by a stranger and her career is depending on if she has a baby or not. I'm just saying why the hell would she have the baby and why he would stay with him (relationship wise). It's quite simple,

I enjoyed it, plenty of good laughs.

DVD should be great, I heard they cut out a good 20 minutes or so, so should be some good extras. This is a good example of a cut scene they took out.

Although I haven't seen it yet, the previews combined with the enthusiastic critical response (which is just as often a sign that a movie is full of shit as it is a sign that the movie is really good... hello "Lost in Translation") leads me to believe that I will absolutely hate this movie.

We'll see what happens.

Saw it last night and i LOL'ed at a few parts it wasn't as good as 40 but it lived up to the hype...unlike spidey3 n war of the worlds:bluu:

Just got back and thought it was hilarious. There aren't a ton of lines that make you cry laughing but it's LOADED with one liners that people will be stealing left and right. I may see it again just to steal the lines. I definitely recommend it.
