No offence, it's just a game and all, but..
I only watched the ken vs ryu fight because i pretty much expected the same level of play i've seen for the last 2 yrs. lots of shit like immediate jumpkick forward, both rounds won with a desperate crutch denjin set up and no zoning, no poking, what is this shit? Denjin is a curse for your game. Gotta get the knockdown, gotta get the air setup. Rediculous.
You obviously love the game because you're playing it on and offline and posting in here all day, don't you ever try to improve? If you can play without unconfirmed specials off a mk , without jumping when you're unsure how to advance etc, you'll find out what your game is really made of.
I'm not attacking you because i think you suck at 3s, it's just frustrating to see people underachieve.

Your hit confirming off Yun's target combo is sound. That's for sure.
I dunno about anybody else, but the C.MK has always been a dead weight for me. I rarely see anybody do pure confirms off it, even in high level play. I say that, and I can usually get the C.MP confirms and a host of other shit fine.
I watched all the vids. Good stuff.
I hate to go off topic (actually that's a lie, I don't really care ) but can any Oro players recommend what to go for after landing the close MP against the twins? Been playing for 2 years and I still don't have a clue :(

and i'm literally talking about the shoto medium sweep, not targets and short shorts with them or other chars.

Ok, i can C.MK SA2 with Ken or SA1 with Ryu all day. With Denji, its all about setups, you should know this.

Oh yeah? i've never seen you hit confirm a mk into a super in any of the vids i've seen. i've seen you spazz one out but the timing is so tight you can argue it either way. No point in disputing this further.
Anyway, i play a solid shoto in 3s and it's not a product of natural skill or time spent playing because i havent much of either, it's just about playing smart and elminating crutches and repetitious play. It takes a fair whack of mental effort to play outside of your comfort zone.

You dont have to. When I play you, you will see me hit confirm you the entire set. Im not worried about my hit confirm.

First of all, if one is to come down on the skills of the players featured on this video (or lack thereof) one should commence with the player named Shit D:
This fool sucks as much as he did 2 years ago, yet he is ranked in the top 10 and misleadingly people believe he is good, plus he gets Good Games posts to solidify the lie even further.
I demand on behalf of all Urien players that Shit D be forbidden from using him (Urien) ever again! His exhibition of random garbage was simply sacrilege against a character that some of us have devoted time and effort to learn; therefore sacred to some of us.
On Project Justice's behalf:
Cr Mk is the only way he lands supers with Chun and Ken; which is one of his weaknesses. Shippu is one of the most versatile SAs in the game, and can be landed in so many ways that limiting your game to Cr Mk canceled into Shippu is rubbish.
I remember from last time we played, I also took note of how PJ would do a short shoryu after a missed/blocked St Mk every time.
One of his strong points (PJ's) is his mixup with the UOH, which I rarely saw being used, just make sure that you don't get abusive with it, like any tactic overused it becomes obsolete.
I think between the 2, I'd have to go with PJ on this one. My critics towards PJ are constructive in nature as well, so please don't get it twisted homie. You need to do some work in the dojo, if you were to feaking play me we could get some nice training going on, and record that shit so I can get called a scrub too. :bgrin:
P.S. OMFG I just saw that Oro match, fucking Shit D should be banned from playing 3S PERIOD!!

I think it is detrimental to his ego to be nice to Shit D, the charade that he calls skills is offensive, and not letting him know he sucks will lead him to believe that he is not absolute rubbish at 3S. Chun's C.MK is one of the easier confirms. I won't dispute that it's her best; The timing is lenient, range is huge, speed is good, priority is crazy. I can't argue against that.
Ken is a different story though. He has 3 hit confirms ahead of C.MK that are easier and more reliable (Target combo, C.LK CLK, and C.MP). His C.MK can be buffered outside of maximum range (as you'll see in high level videos) and it's his only option to punish from some ranges, but that's not hit-confirming!
Of all the very good shoto players I run into on Live, none of them use C.MK as a hit confirm - not a single one. There are respected players on the offline strategy forums who insist Ken's C.MK is too hard to hit-confirm (though some also disagree).
By all means, punish with C.MK super, verify it off their parries, buffer it to your hearts content, but you have far better options for hit confirming. Especially at point blank range.
The same applies to Sean, Ryu and Akuma.
My penny.

I cannot agree with you more, I have a list of players from Live that can only land a super off Cr Mk with any character (like PJ with Yun in the vid) as well as a list of noobs that can only mash out of a shoryu like move, not random players mind you, but SRKers......sad really.

K. I'd stay away from the knee drops. They will almost never work as a mix up, but you got them to land because they countered some of pj's moves (throw and fireball) by chance. So instead of taking a risk with an unsafe move, just counter his moves with something else. The fireball might be harder to counter but you could still just jump it and get a rh in. The wiffed throw should be no problem though, you can do just about anything- walk back out of range and do c.fp, get in a fast poke, jump, whatever.
Use your pokes wisely. There was a time when you did lk after a wiffed srk (im guessing you tried to combo a tackle) but you couldve got a free c.fp. And another where you did close sweep- Urien's sweep is mad slow (13 frames) and unsafe at that (-13) so it's just another risk you don't need to take. C.mk may not get a knock down and do as much damage, but in the long run it's better than c.rh. And also use s.fp more- It's a good move to use like chun's s.fp, it's not as good ofcourse but you can beat out a good amount of moves and it's good to use in a block string. eg- if you do c.lk then s.fp, people will try to attack after the lk and get hit by the fp.
Don't do headbutt after c.fp, the tackle is almost always a better option (it get's them in the corner and is the start of his main combo). Also you did ex headbutt after c.fp when you had meter for a super- that was a perfect oppurtunity for his unblockable (c.fp > lk tackle xx fp sa3 > dash > mp headbutt> unblockable (forward mk being the standard one).
One time you did lp aegis after a throw... I guess I discussed this in the other thread ... so yeah, just don't do that lol.

Xen - you need to come down to London and watch the top players in action. When Ken DOESN'T confirm a cr.mk - the player starts to get labelled as 'not that good'...
