for those who don't remember, this was a PSX launch title, and it was the best plane shooter they had, IMHO, until air combat 3 and colony wars.

this was the only thing you could play on the ps demo cd you got free with new playstation. and you can only watch sf alpha 1, not play it. and with the sound effects all messed up in different moves for charlie's super. oh, an die hard trilogy was playable.

What YEAR are you talking about? My demo had playable Warhawk, Twisted Metal, Toshinden, Jumping Flash, and some sports game. This was a LONG time before Alpha was even announced for home systems (the psx HAD just come out, after all). And then there was the Developers Demo disk, with the Dinosaur, the room full of tennis balls, the morphing shapes, and the really cool video with birds morphing into fish, then showing makeup being put on some asian chick...I wish somebody would put that up on youtube.

I had Warhawk, Toshinden, Jumping Flash, and Twisted Metal playable, and Tekken, Air Combat (was amazing compared to the game), Wipeout, and three more unplayable, that I don't remmeber now.

Ah, right! I forgot about Tekken...that was some fun shit. The other games were on my disc as well. Still I wish they had an actual GAME disc instead of a fuckin' demo disc.

What was the last system that came with a game aside from the bundles, like the GT3 PS2 and such?

I know PSX came with only a demo disc. My Saturn was bought used, so I dont' know if it came with anything. I know there was a time when it came with Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Cop 2, but was that how it always was? No Sonic? N64..... I never owned one... Last console that came with a game that I bought was SNES, came with Super Mario World... I remember there was a time when it came with Super Mario World and Super Mario All Stars. You got every Mario game for buying the system, which at the time was only $100. Crazy.

The Sega Saturn, a while after the system launched started packing in Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2, and Daytona USA...they may have been doing that from the start, but I never payed attention to it's launch, due to that, what, $399?, price tag.
