gotta say the bread at red lobster is god tier. their actual dinnners are ok but the bread alone is worth the price of admission.

i like the half rack plus citrus chicken combo at chilis but the best chain restaurant i think is the outback, nothing beats a nice rare steak.

I was cleaning up the grills at night (well, morning, I was working overnight shifts), and I slipped on the floor that I mopped and forgot to put the floor mat back down, so it was my fault, and thus, I didn't sue, although I threatened them, and they gave me a weeks pay at overtime rate and paid my medical debt for it, so I was happy with that.... I slipped, and landed nicely on the grill that I just oiled up for 3 omelette orders that came in.

Sonics is fastfood joint and the others are sit down. But yeah best chain is tie between Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba's. Both are owned by the same company. Another cool thing about them is they work through a proprietorship which means your dealing with the Store Owner and not just a GM. So some locations might have different things than the others which is cool some times.

some people might health concerns but any herbivore is pretty safe to eat rare. rather take my chances with rare meat than dry well done steaks that are loaded with carcinogens

DAYUM right. Well done sucks. Medium Rare FTW. And I seriously doubt the steak was undercooked, most people dont know what a particular steak looks like at the temp they order. If you want dark brown/gray brown all they way through, dont order medium well, it will still have pink and maybe some blood.

Those guys are usually cooking 20+ steaks at one time. They're bound to make a mistake here or there. If you ever go back and have a problem don't hesitate to ask for it to be fixed. They'll either recook it, give you a whole new steak, or hook you up with a free meal.

I almost always eat steak that is rare/medium-rare. I've even started learning how to cook steak now and I found out that it really doesn't matter what temperature you eat your steak at. Most steaks are seared on the outside where most of the bacteria is. You can have a seared steak that is raw on the inside and you'd be perfectly OK. The less you cook it, the more juices that are inside and the better it tastes.

People that eat medium->well done steak are just wasting it.

Another note, they said grounded meat really just mixes in all the bacteria everywhere into the meat so you should definitely eat it at at least medium. I always tend to eat my burgers medium rare as well, so I'm kind of disappointed about possibly having to change that.

Agreed. The closest thing I can find when it comes to Italian chains is Macaroni Grill. I was raised on authentic Italian food(which explains my size...I'm a big dude lol), and while Olive garden is okay, it's as Italian as Taco Bell is Mexican.

I used to work there as a broil guy. ( basically cooked all the meat.) We had to take a 4 hour class on how to cut and cook a prime rib. That place is serious when it comes to cleanliness and quality of thier food.

People just accept the garbage they are given and because the standard is so low, really terrible crap is great food to them. Its the worst with sushi, thank god there aren't any sushi chains. My college does pretty good japanese food sense they higher a pro to come in do all of it. Our dining hall is number one in the state i think. Lobster, Minot, Shrimp, Subs MTO etc. Basically throwing a bunch of good spots together. We also got a Starbucks in the library, a Quiznos in the book store, Chick Fila and a sushibar in the commons,. In the strip under the dorm we got Quidoba, Cold Stone, jearsey mikes, cold stone, extreme pizza, tropical smoothie. We also have a tropical smoothie and sbarros in the dining hall. the commons also contains a cafe, grocery store and other shit.
