Normally I wouldn't ask a website to help me, but my quote reached 3005 which is higher than 90% of the quotes on the website, and I'm only 900 votes away from being in the top 200. Not to mention you guys might actually find it pretty funny.

My quote was also featured on the front page of Digg, according to a friend, I know nothing about Digg but I guess that's something to be proud of...?

And hell, I didn't even think it was that funny when I said it.

You can see the quote here http://www.bash.org/?761414 and give it a positive vote by clicking on the + next to the number. While you're at it, I suggest checking out the rest of bash.org, I have never laughed as hard on any other website. You can start by checking out the top 100 and 200.

In any thread about IRC quotes, I feel obligated to link to Galactic's (http://www.bash.org/?75154) epic quote.

Ah, bash... I used to think it was really cool being in the top 100 quotes, but one time I did a google search for "you know what's always bothered me? Cold cereal mascots" just to see what would happen, and it's pretty sad how many people just totally rip off my rant word for word and try to pretend they came up with it... Too many Carlos Mencias out there...

EDIT: oh man, my quote's moved down out of the top 100, lol

I was expecting lame, but I laughed, so I up-voted.

Also, I'd read the cereal rant on bash before, but I didn't realize it was SRK's Galactic. That quote is tear-inducing funny.

I came in here expecting shit, because that's what most "vote for me on" threads I've encountered on forums end up being. I ended up voting for every quote posted.

Good stuff

<nappyjallapy> That's almost 25%!
<kyourek> ... That was one of the most worthless comments I've ever heard.
