3S on 360

Is this game actually playable on Live? Just kinda curious... I finally got X-Live, and would love to throw down on some 3S, but don't want to end up buying yet a 3rd copy of 3S only to find that it's a total lagfest. So... your guy's verdict?

its playable and there is some lag....its not noticable in some fights though depends on the person you face

The Xbox version would be a better bet for you than 360 version simply because on the 360 version it lags on high jumps which can mess up a lot of set ups for characters like Makoto Sa2 combos and Chun Sa2 combos...etc, which you can end with super jump cancels and such. Xbox version > 360 version... dood.

My bad, I had surfed about, just never came across anyone mentioning anything about it.

That's a shame too... I just traded in my old Xbox, and I primarily play Ms. Mary Mak most of the time... I guess I can swing it with SAI though. I guess I'll go pick it up and see how it all plays out, just might be a few days since I'm about to start a long haul at work.

Heh, I played 3rd Strike XBL on the XBOX 360 for the first time yesterday. I definitely felt the difference in lag. Plus, using the 360 pad didn't help either. It's back to the XBOX with a PS2 pad for me.

Regardless, if all you have is 360, I think it's playable; just the high jumps that kill you.

I played yesterday on 360 and I thought the lag wasn't bad at all. Much better than in Hyper Fighting in XBLA. It was the first time that the game felt like real SF rather than a lag-switch-up game.

the only thing that gets me about the 360 is when you use Urien and try to do some crushes.......other than that, it's playable

Ugh... althought there was some lag there, using a 360 controller makes it an absolute nightmare... you can't do shit on that thing!

I just recently caved in and bought SF:AC for my 360... The lag was really bad. I only played one game though, so I don't really know if it happens all the time. It's hilarious time ahead to parry projectiles. Feels amazing when you pull it off though. ;P

Have there been any reported problems with 360 users playing against original xbox users.

I'm trying to figure out why I can't connect with certain people and I have run out of ideas.
