Nah no worries, I was really off this morning and i was so exhausted from lag filled battles i was worried id do badly this time. Sorry about the constant invites, i was needing to be somewhere all the sudden but i really wanted to fight u first. Thanks to my battles agaisnt u, i know now the proper way to use ryu with zoning and such...although kara throws and ex moves r still a bitch with the xbox s-pad heh.

GG's go out to Roleybob. I thought the matches were quite even and entertaining so why did you quit and start a new game without me? You won the first and I won the second. So if we are ‘even’ then WHY would he quit Shoryuken community?

Can someone please tell me WTF people do this? It isn’t the first time either that someone has done this to me. The most annoying thing about XBL isn’t the taunting it is the availability of playing. I do get nervous before a fight and then usually get the crap beaten out of me in the first fight and then the person usually quits-why not give me another chance? I usually do significantly better the second time around.

Sometimes I have been given a second chance and I am in the zone by the second fight and beat the living hell out of the opponent and then they usually STILL quit!? Why do people do this? Is it perhaps my connection was good but there’s wasn’t? I mean I live in Australia and I play anyone. Do they do it to preserve they’re rank? Ultimately you’re just supposed to have fun playing the game…

Thankyou Roleybob for taking the time to clear this up. I am sorry for suggesting that you left the match for reasons other than lag issues and I also appreciate that you gave me a second game yesterday despite the lag troubles. Though I imagine some do actually quit due to the already mentioned reasons I think will have to learn to be more understanding in future and not jump to conclusions.

In fact today I had to quit on someone because my Xbox controller batteries ran out of juice and ironically the connection was quite good! I am looking into ADSL boosters and am wondering if they will help seeing as I am across the entire world from most players. I look forward to sparring with you again and am hoping that it will be on a better connection. Thanks again.

GMS at home - no worries dude. ive had pretty awful lag almost everyone ive played in the last week or 2 except 1 guy where we had almost perfect connection and then he quit after first match :(. hopefully itll sort itself out for next time we play although im not too hopeful cos im in england and i assume that the further the signal has to go, the worse its likely to be. ill give it a go when i see your name tho.

I totally love XBL SF3 in the last couple of days. Multiple games at once with pretty evenly matched opponents and I can totally tell I am getting better. Also I have been trying a no retaliatory policy. I just don’t bother taunting back-I mean firstly it will encourage them and second I would be giving into anger every time. Well anyway I will have to keep doing that. Hey I will become the master of Zen by practicing this concept on Real Lady!

Yeah yesterday’s games were really good again! As I said in my message to you on XBL, your Oro was kicking my ass and your Alex was getting better with every fight. It is weird to face off against your Remy! I want to dash forward but then I see your ducking to Razor Kick if I jump or projectile me so I get a little unsure of what to do. It shows me how others must feel against my Remy sometimes...

I am just starting to realise what some of the strength + weaknesses of the characters are. Like Remy he has nothing but the UO and jump attacks do attack against crouching guards etc. Oh yeah love the Elena. I once focused on Elena ages ago now she has come back out of retirement to fight your champion Elena. Thanks for giving my ken props but right now my ken needs major work.
First off you have to know that with UOH you have to be at the right distance or it will not work. Also if the opponent has been knocked down you have to know the timing of when they are getting up. Back and mk will not work unless the opponent is crouching.

In training mode try running up next to the opponent and do cr mp and standing short this is the perfect distance for UOH regardless if the opponent is standing or crouching. Now if you can see this distance and learn hit confirm you will be golden. Hope this helps...let me know if you need anything else.

Great Games! I never heard of a non 3x taunting Q?! My connection was good (but then I have given up parrying online). YOU did manage to parry my Akuma’s SA3 (DAMN YOU!) so I guess the connection may have been good for you at first and gotten progressively worse (as you described).

Oh I fought VincentKilla as well today! I beat his Alex (who was okay) I then fought his Ken-he was less skilled in him but because Ken is naturally stronger he was harder to fight. I taunted during the fight for a boost but it seems he doesn’t know the difference between that and the KO taunt-so HE then began to KO taunt me!

I got pissed (which was stupid of me) and we eventually taunted each other. To tell you the truth I got so pissed at him I just dropped before he won the match. The exact same thing happened when I fought a match with some guy in France. It was fun at first but then the same thing happened.

oh the reason why to all people, the reason i usually leave after one win or one loss, is because i record the match and watch my mistakes because i can only record for like 2 minutes and thats usually how long the match lasts for me or less, but i fixed my pinacle and it can last alot longer, channel anger i wasn't really leaving because i was mad because after i loss i would re watch it and watch my mistakes, sorry about that i would say it on the mic but it broke. i won't do it anymore though lol sry about that... its just im looking for quick improvement with my yang, and sry to all the ppl i dropped on that was long ago lol, i stopped dropping though and half the times it wasn't even really me dropping it was my bro like i said. i really want to play hold dat, real lady, SA SANDY BAGS! and other people, and man i do type alot and i think im done for right now, time to hit the bed!

If you don't press anything after doing the throw Makoto remains invincible until she puts her hands down similar to the invincibility of her Tanden-Renki super art. The invincibility last long enough that if a shoto tries to sweep her after the throw, their sweep will go right through her legs and she can then dash in and punish. It'll also work on other attacks from other characters but that's one that I always seem to capitalize off shoto players that don't know about the invincibility.
