GG's Daze. It was hard enough to even block correctly during that set. The connection was terrible. You have reliable execution with most characters, but your game could use more safety. You post some impressive looking wins with a relentless offense, but things can easily blow up and go the other way, when (eg) the gambled super after Sean's hurricane is blocked, or the chance C.MK into hurricane on my wakeup is blocked.


GG's Clive Jackson (I could be wrong here). Please man. No more Akuma. I can't take it anymore. Never have I played someone so dogged and steadfast in their strategy. It was like facing a robot: Backup wherever possible with jumping fireballs. Once you get a full screen away do constant ground fireballs. If the opponent gets close, go back to the air fireballs and then throw out a hurricane. Rinse. Repeat. Boring as hell to play against mate. I'm utterly baffled that you didn't change your style at all, even after 18 games. Thanks for sticking around all the same.

GG's ALECAPONE. I suspect I had a lag advantage early on, which seems to be a very rare thing from this side. (Hugo is a monster when you have this kind of advantage. Playing him was awesome. Win-button incarnate!) You played your best round against him there. Some solid strategy from your Ryu :tup: It was nice to be able to parry both hits on Ryu's command overhead for once. I forgot to send you a FR. Connection tailed off toward the end and I started getting pulled out of stuff that looked to have combo'd. Ah well. Thanks for the games.

Sorry i was just messing around with you i would have played more games with more guys if i knew you posted here. I would say you just need to learn to hit confirm the low forward and the back fierce to become better. You spam those fierce punches alot but whatever works. GG's SAII Chun does all the work for you.

haha thanks the double perfect only got me an A though. Your Ken has alot of potential but you going to have to lose the random supers all the time. Learn how to use short short xx shippu and mp hp hado shippu and you will improve. Also the ground tatsumaki is a worthless move for ken and only leads to death. I tried to see who i could beat you with and i guess my Necro isnt up to snuff. Use the air Ex tatsu because it opens up alot of options for ken. it depends on how you get set up, for the unblockable just try and roll away if you do you'll avoid it the others block low the whole time until you see the high hit coming and be ready to break throws. both of these are harder to do on xbl than reg timing, its almost impossible to roll away from unblockables if your connect isn't perfect besides that don't get hit by the high fireball cause then it's over, good luck...

I lost count of how many times you threw me after a jump attack that was too high, or when I didn't time things well, you did excellent with that.

Sorry about all of the Makoto selections. I normally like to mix it up a lot more, but I saw some of the tricks you were doing with her and wanted to try them out. I also was trying to improve some of my techniques with her.

GG's Gotuka. Most enjoyable set I've played in quite a while. It's rare to run into an able Yang player on XBL, so the games were a valuable learning experience. You have some really nice poke sequences on block and you got plenty mileage out of them. I thought your play was an interesting mix. I see some great potential in a lot of the things you do, but every now and again you'd throw out something crazy and I'd wonder what on earth you were thinking.:lol:

I'm not a big fan of covering Yang's roll kick on block, since it's guaranteed punishment offline. Other than that, some very solid stuff. Really impressive play at high speed. Especially with juggles and fakes. You took 90% of the Akuma vs Yang games. Not sure why I was having so much trouble with this one, since I wasn't being stunned. I think it was possibly that you know the intended match-up strategy and played a very aggressive gameplan. I seemed to get stuffed every time I tried to counter. I noticed that you were attacking almost incessantly (building meter from afar and virtually unbroken zoning pokes at mid range). My switching to Chun was a deliberate move and it proved incredibly effective at beating out those pokes.

GG's Gotuka. Your ability to hit combos under pressure is frankly amazing. You've masses of talent playing at a rapid pace. Like I said the last time we played though, some of the stuff you pull off with Yang has me in awe, but every now and then you'll throw out something that makes me stop and think "What the fuck?".

Solid zoning too, but with the sheer number of attacks you're throwing out that's probably to be expected. Some stuff is tough to deal with in lag (dive kick, low short and the crossup teleports), but I did notice that your jump-ins are incredibly safe. :tup:

It must've looked as though I became increasingly random toward the end of the set, but I was simply holding back looking for reversals whenever I got meter. It worked very well, because the rate at which you hit your attack buttons defies belief. Don't your hands get tired?

I taunted that last match because I actually managed to hit your whiffed roll kick before you could cover it with the super. That's between -19 and -25 on block! I should be able to hit you with just about anything when you whiff that. Just proving my point.

Also, I'm completely serious in guessing that you are using programmable input. Never in all my days have I seen execution like yours off of Zenpo, LK, EX slashes. That's hard to do reliably offline. Over live? Impossible! It even comes out with the slashes at perfectly timed intervals.:wow:

He's a very good Yang player. Couldn't beat him with Akuma (hurricane whiffs against ducking Yang, bah!) and we went back and forth when I played Ken. If he plays anybody but Yang, I think that's someone else at the helm. I'd respect his game more if he were more cautious about throwing out normals. I'd be itching to gamble full screen SA2 with Chun, the way this guy keeps pressing attacks. It's virtually constant. That, and the covered roll kick on block (with either throw or super) don't impress me so much.

Attacking without gaps, even with Yang gives your patterns away and is practically inviting the opponent to reversal super.

The link between Yang's LK (that's standing LK) and EX slashes is extremely tight. The guy didn't miss it. Not even once. If that's legit execution, I can think of no better compliment than to be accused of using a programmable controller.

Man, you've got some serious Makoto skills. I love your dashing in after the meaty attacks and the very deceptive tricks you were pulling off. Awesome stuff. I'm going to be copying those in the near future with my own Makoto. I especially loved the dashing in after a crouching medium kick, really cool.

One thing, I kind of feel bad for you man. I'm not sure why you act so weird.

I don't know what's going on in your life to make you act so odd, but do you really want to act that way around your fellow Street Fighter players?

You have a lot of talent, you should use it to build up the community/other players, instead of trying to tear them down.

Maybe you think it gives you a competitive advantage to act that way, but you'll get a lot better at the game by building up the competition around you, not trying to destroy it.
